This Indenture made and Concluded this fifteenth day of February in the year o f our Lord one thousand Seven hundred fourty and Seven Between Jeffry Clarke of ye Parrish of Saint Jameses and in Goochland county of the one part and Larner Bradfshaw of the same Parrifh and county of the other part Witnefseth that the aforesaid Jeffry Clarke for the valluath Consideration of fourty pounds Currant Money to him in hand paid the Receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and himself therewith fully satisfied Hath bargained Sold Aliend granted infcofed and Confirmed and in and by these prefents doth bargain Sell alien grant infcoff and Confirm unto the aforesaid Larner Bradfhaw his heirs and afsignes forever, one tract or parcil of Land, Containing by   Eftimation one hundred Acres of Land, be the same more or lefs, and lying and being in the parrish & County aforsaid, and on the Northside of James River of ye South side of a branch Call.d horfespen Creek and beginning at a Corner Oak of Jn.o Guns deceafed, southwardly, thence North Eaftwardly and along Guns line to a Corner Shrub oak thence along ye said Guns line Continuing almoft ye same Course to a small branch putting into horfespen Creek thence down ye sd branch to a small spanish oak weftwardly, thence along a line of markt trees and down the Creek Southweftwardly to a Corner black oak thence down ye Creek Continuing almoft ye same Course to a Corner Sweet Gum, thence Southweftwardly to a Corner purfimmon Tree, thence Weftwardly and along a line of markt trees to a White Oak Corner and standing near ye sd Guns line thence South wardly and along ye sd Guns line with ye Several Courses thereof to the place began at To have and to hold the aforesaid one hundred for Ever, with a houfes out houfes ways waters woods underwoods profits heriditaments Appurtenances and Appendances whatfo ever Jeffry Clarke himselfe his heires doth farther Covenant and agree that he the said Jeffry Clarke his heires shall and will forever Warrant and defend the aforesaid Sold Land and Premifes, unto the aforesd Larner Bradfhaw his heires forever, against all persons and all and all manner of Claim whatfoever, and to make any other Deed or Deeds for the Premifes as by he said Larner or his Councill Learned in the Law, shall be defired or required at the Charge of the said Larner in Witnefs whereof he the said  Jeffry Clarke hath hereunto Sett his hand and affixed his Seal the Day and Year first above written

      At a Court cont.d and held for Goochland County March 16.1747. Jeffry Clarke acknowledged the Deed with the Livery of Seizen and Receipt endorfed to be his Acts and Deeds which were ordered to be recorded.
