Looking back
We were up for bags at 7:30. We had lunch around 12:45 and only paid 8Euro for yummy pasta. It was another long day in the bus as we were into our Rome hotel around 4:15 or so- however there were some delays due to traffic as there was a large accident on the highway. ROME was very HOT. We then had 1 ½ hours to spend, and I tried to downsize (read- throw things away I don’t really need). Jeff then took us on a bus and train to the Spanish Steps , Trevi Fountain (where Jeff told us to throw in foreign currency because someone would come take euro and steal your wishes. One is to return I think, and more would be to marry an Italian), and the Pantheon. One of the girls took a picture of the roman who was then looking for money. Beware. Jeff took us to a good pasta place where everyone ordered different stuff and they only had one cook, but it only cost 8 Euro. Around 10:30 Jeff took us back on the bus. A few stayed in for some drinks and came back later.
