Path of The Bow

The Archer is the back line of defense for the Kingdom. He prefers to battle his enemy from affar using his ability with the bow. Besides a magi, the archer is one of few whom can strike his target from a distance. He is able to quickly target and imbed his projectile into an enemy with ease and great accuracy. His primary asset is his bow, be it a cross bow, long bow, or heavy cross bow. Following a close second is his friendship with fellow archers. They eat, sleep, drink, go to battle, tell stories and die by one another's side. The archer's personality amongst their ranks varies. One archer may perfer to move around quietly in the forest, protecting and watching over nature, where another perfers the protection offered by chainmail and the powerful damage behind a heavy cross bow.

The archer class can be an inviting and entertaining class. The versatility of ranged weaponry and the illusive Ranger class allow the player a large array of areas to role-play. As the archer progresses in experience he will become that more defined and powerful with his skills. The level of skills he has attained and the amount of abilities he is able to use reflects this, i.e. legendary archery and the bushido skill. If your character is already advanced in skills and you are starting out in the guild please do your best to mask his abilities. Allow your character to go through the steps of advancement. There are certain situations where a new member may be placed in an advanced rank. This is entirely to the discretion of the King. The role-play is what is important and following the guidelines set out will help you follow the correct path.
