I was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Hong Kong. I have two sisters and one brother. When I was a little girl, I lived near my grandmother. My sister and I always went to my grandmother’s house. Sometimes my grandmother took my sister and me to go to the park and to go to the market to buy foods.
I remember my grandmother raised a little rabbit. She put the rabbit in the kitchen, because my grandmother had a big kitchen. My sister and I liked to play with the rabbit. After a few months, the rabbit became bigger. One day we went to my grandmother’s house, the rabbit was missing. We asked my grandmother, “Where is the rabbit?” My grandmother did not answer us. At dinnertime, we saw a bowl of soup on the table. We asked my grandmother, “what kind of soup?” She said, "that is rabbit soup.” Oh! No! Our favorite rabbit became rabbit soup. We could not eat.
