| I am a student of the Adult English Literacy Program at University Settlement. I enjoy learning grammar, idioms, and conversation in the English class. I am interested in learning computer skills that I learn how to send e-mails and greeting cards to my friends on the Internet. I also learn how to create my web site by myself. |
| I am a mother of three children. I pay attention to my children and I am concerned their health and education. I used to enjoy playing basketball, baseball and tennis with my son. I liked to do something of handicrafts with my daughters when they were in an elementary school. Now, my two daughters are in colleges and my son in a high school. I have been attending University Settlement's Adult English Literacy Program to improve my English and computer skills since 2002. I like to do research on the Internet, such as I could search some educational information and resources from many different sites, and then I could give some advice to my children when they need help. I think it is a better way to communicate with my children and improve my English. |
