First off, your view of reincarnation holds the idea that all life, every life, everything is happening at the same time, you understand that the soul has no restrictions of time unlike our human consciousness. That being said, I also read the part of your site where you discuss contacting those that had passed and also the page that discusses contacting other various spirits. Well, a few months ago, before I came across your site, I had the thought "Well, if everything that is happening, has happened, and is every going to happen is all happening at once, then therefore everyone that is in my life right now, my mom, dad, friends, what have you, has already died and their spirit has passed on. So wouldn't I be able to contact the spirit of someone who is still alive?" so I sat down and tried it, with people in my life that I had always felt that "more than just an everyday person" connection with from the moment I met them, I found it was easier to imagine them sitting right in front of me, smiling at me, happy that I was figuring it out. They didn't really say very much if anything, and for all I know my vivid imagination could have created their form and it could have very well been another spirit, or no spirit at all (but I know how God can communicate through imagination or anything else we can fathom). I guess the gist of what I'm trying to ask/seek is if you have any advice about this? Or perhaps some more information about this concept? Is this a good idea to be trying to communicate with the spirits of people that still interact with my physical life on very real terms? When I read on your site that the way you suggest to contact the dead was what I had tried naturally on my own just giving it a whirl, I knew I had to at least contact you. I'm very curious about what I've stumbled upon, and I'll be waiting to hear back from you. Our answer: Simultaneous time can be explored in meditative states, with liberating insights, but just as an artist who tries to paint a three dimensional landscape on a flat piece of canvas has to make an interpretation, and cannot capture every aspect, so our linear time perceptions affect how we experience simultaneous time events. We have rather more freedom in our night time dream states, and if you study your dreams you will discover that many of them include elements from past, present and future, put together in a way which is perfectly natural to your soul, or divine inner self, and which defy waking linear time constraints. One of the difficulties with being currently immersed in linear time, is that the hardest part of simultaneous time to understand is how fresh action is always happening in a past which still exists, and a future which already exists. Each moment is a doorway for creativity and so the past is never finished, and the future is full of probabilities. You are right in thinking that everyone who is now living a physical life, is, in simultaneous time terms, also living in the life between lives state. So your idea that you could contact the spirit of someone who is still alive was an excellent and valid assumption, and would most definitely work. Still, you don’t have to think in terms of contacting living people only in their life between lives state, why not just try to contact the living person as they are today. In basic terms you are doing this anyway, every time you think about someone, but usually most people are not paying attention to the inner contact. Many people have conversations, even arguments with others ‘in their heads’ and can even ‘hear’ the other person’s side of the conversation, without giving this any validity. While there could indeed be strong elements of imagination involved, a certain kind of effort and practise, which can be cultivated through using the method of communicating we have outlined on the webpages given below, can bring an increase of true, and often verifiable, information. Now, since this is a natural extension of a natural ability, it is perfectly good to do it, and can be very useful, as you will be able to figure out. However your concerns are justified about the way other people might feel about you contacting them deliberately using this method. Our experience is that some people regard it as invading their privacy, and in particular, people with something to hide, object strongly. So we recommend that you are polite and considerate in your use of this communication method, and only ask for information which is not of a private nature, but which would be part of a normal conversation, in which the person you are contacting would only tell you what they wanted you to know. One justifiable exception to this would be if you suspect that someone has some bad intentions towards you personally, in which case, finding those bad intentions out, using this method of communicating could keep you from getting hurt. Another point of interest is that if you contact someone who knows you well, or who cares about you, or both, you will attract their personal interest and involvement. If you decide to branch out and contact people you don’t know, for example, if you wanted to contact an expert in something, and get some helpful information from them, you will most likely contact their ‘worldview’ which is an accumulation of their ideas, attitudes, life experiences, abilities, etc, and which can seem to be a contact with that person, but which may not involve their conscious attention at all.
