ICHIBUNNONI

Now before you go and correct me on my spelling, yes, this is correct. Nibunoichi essentially means 'one over two' or one half , as in Ranma 1/2. So then Ichibunnoni means... two over one, which sounds redundant redundant, but just follow me here for a sec.

In Dave Harper's story here, Ranma isn't an only child, meet Ranko, Ranma's twin sister. So anyway, Genma not only trains Ranma the ways of the Saotome school but Ranko as well, so it's no surprise that they all end up at Jusenkyo together. Well, being so close to one another, when Ranko sees her brother plunging towards a pool (and having seen her father jump out of one as a panda), she reacts first without thinking of the consequences and knocks Ranma from harms way, only to fall into the pool herself. 'Oh, too bad. You fall in Nyaniichuan, Spring of Drowned Girl. There very tragic legend... Oh, wait. You already girl. Not so tragic then.'

So, just what happens to a person (or animal) that falls into a spring that already has the right form? I'm not telling so you'll have to read for yourself. 8^)
