Chapter 371
Venus used her agility to avoid the enemy attack and spun.
Her crescent beam flew out. Saritin knocked it away.
"You were the last thing I needed to deal with!" she shouted and launched another attack. Venus avoided it and shot back.
"You are good, but I'm better!" Saritin said leaping at her and throwing a left. Venus slid out of the way and turned firing yet again. Saritin blasted the attack away again.
"You're not so tough!" Venus shouted.
"That's not a problem," Saritin said. A horde of soldiers appeared behind her.
"Not good," Venus said and hurried down the hall, the soldiers chased after her.
"Sero, we need more troops down here, Sailor Venus has escaped," Saritin said into a communicator.
"She what?" Sero snapped.
"An incompetent minion, but we will need all of the ships defenses to stop them it seems," Saritin said.
"You shall have them, and I am on my way as well," Sero said.
"Yes my lord," Saritin said and hurried down the hall..
Guardian Moon jumped forward and swung through several more enemies with his sword, they collapsed unconscious.
"This room looks important," he said.
"Not for long," Sailor Earth said and blew an attack into a control panel. More explosions rocked the ship.
Soldiers flew through the door.
"Jupiter Star Inferno!"
The attacks rippled through the enemies, flattening them.
"Let's go," Guardian Moon said. The group ran up a platform and out the door.
"Hey this looks important too," Guardian Moon said and started firing.
"Enemy has penetrated the power core, power to shields is diminishing!" An officer shouted.
"Well do something about it!" Sero shouted into a communicator as he raced down another hallway.
I will not let them defeat us.
"Recall all our troops from the surface at once! We will take care of these scouts for good!"
"Yes sir."
"VENUS LOVE AND BEAUTY SHOCK!"
The hallway exploded in front of her, sending metal flying about. Many of the soldiers were hit by the debris.
Saritin leapt forward shooting spikes of energy. Venus avoided them narrowly and scampered down the hall, Saritin followed.
"You're not going to beat me little girl!" Saritin shouted.
"Oh..you're that old huh!" Venus shouted and dived down a corridor. Saritin
growled and charged after her, energy flying from her hands.
Meanwhile in the SDF's secondary headquarters.
"Now this is interesting?" Doctor Richter said staring at a computer screen.
"What is?" Nagumo said.
"That defense shield around the ship is gone."
"How can you tell?"
"Long story, and trust me you didn't approve the project."
"So they're open to missile attack then..."
"Well in theory, the problem is they still probably have energy defenses, and more importantly the ship still sits over the city," Richter said.
"I know," Nagumo said. "But perhaps it's too much to ask the scouts to move it. Prepare our second missile defenses for launch and scramble everything we've got."
An aide hurried off to do so.
"Let history judge me fairly," he said.
A wall exploded.
"Just how long can you keep this up?" Guardian Jupiter asked.
"My stamina is above average," Guardian Moon said.
"Do you have a plan for getting us off of here?" Jupiter asked.
"Sure, when the time has come we'll just head back to a fighter bay and steal a ship, I know how to fly one."
"You do?" Jupiter asked. "And how did that happen?"
"That's not important," Moon said. "Right now we've got to do some more damage."
"Oh of course..how silly of me to forget," Jupiter said.
"What are you complaining about?" Moon asked.
"That for one," Jupiter said.
The three dodged a surprise energy barrage.
Sailor Earth dispatched the soldiers responsible for it.
"See? No problem," Guardian Moon said.
More energy flew at them.
"You're not inspiring much confidence," Guardian Jupiter said.
"Venus Love Chain Encircle!"
"Hah!" Saritin shouted and blasted it away. "I'm much too fast for you!"
More spikes shot out. Venus rolled out of the way and shot again. Saritin avoided her.
"Foolish," She said and lunged at Venus again this time connecting. Venus staggered back, and Saritin launched another barrage. Venus narrowly missed it. Saritin followed it up. Venus spun and shot her crescent beam. Both shots connected knocking both of them back into the walls.
The two both recovered quickly but woozily and their next attacks flew off in errant directions.
Saritin stumbled forward. Venus charged forward and the two met exchanging blows.
"Yet another mistake!" Saritin said punching Venus in the face. Venus fell back. Saritin picked her up and threw her against another wall. Venus winced. Saritin gasped for air.
"No one..treats me like this," Saritin said. She flung Venus into another wall.
Venus sighed and looked at her.
Saritin aimed a blast of energy at her. Venus continued to stare.
Saritin fired.
Venus leapt into the air.
"Venus Love Chain Encircle!" She shouted holding onto her attack and swinging it downward. Saritin backed up, the attack went through the floor. The two quickly took up defensive stances again.
"I will not spare you now.." Saritin said.
Venus didn't reply only readied herself.
"All right, time to go!" Guardian Moon said racing down another corridor.
"At last you're seeing some reason," Guardian Jupiter said.
"I know what works and what doesn't," Guardian Moon said. "You just keep an eye on them."
"They are growing in strength," Sailor Earth said.
"I don't need you to tell me that," Guardian Moon said.
They blasted some more enemies.
"Aren't you getting the least bit tired?" Guardian Jupiter asked.
"A little, but hey we'll be gone soon," Guardian Moon said.
"So you say," Guardian Jupiter said.
"I think there should be some sort of ship around here somewhere," Guardian Moon said.
"And the plan collapses," Guardian Jupiter muttered.
The hallway detonated. The three were thrown backwards quickly.
Sero strode forward.
"Now it is time for real combat!" he shouted.
The three stood up quickly up and took up defensive positions.
"All missiles fire!" General Nagumo said.
A wave of weapons shot out from the SDF bases, and aircraft. It streaked in towards the enemy ship. Energy flew out and hit some. Other missiles smashed into the hull exploding quickly.
"The enemy fighters have decided to engage!" an officer shouted.
"Make a run for it then," Nagumo said.
The SDF fighters broke off and the aliens went chasing after them.
"Now it's time for the third wave," Doctor Richter said.
"We have a third wave? Nagumo asked in surprise.
"You bet we do," Doctor Richter said.
"What is this now?"
"You'll see."
"Tomoe..you there?" Richter said into a phone.
"Is it time?" Tomoe asked.
"You bet."
"Excellent.." Tomoe said.
"Where is he?" Nagumo asked.
"A few miles from here.." Richter said. "Watch this."
From the hills much farther away from Tokyo several strange looking radar dishes rose from the ground.
"We're ready to go," Tomoe said.
"But what are you doing?" Nagumo asked.
"Trust me General, this'll do a good number on them," General Patterson said.
Nagumo just glanced at him worriedly.
"FIRE!" Richter said.
The radar dishes emitted a strange mix of what looked to be electricity and some other energies. The mix all swept in towards Tokyo Tower, the landmark began to crackle and then the energy shot upward right into the enemy ship. A massive explosion erupted from it's bottom.
"HAH!" Richter said.
"What was that?" Nagumo asked.
"Just a little something we were working on," Richter said.
Alarms were going off.
"You are fortunate I have other concerns!" Saritin yelled and raced away. Venus sighed.
"Don't know what that was..but...I'm glad it happened," Venus said. The ship rocked.
"Or maybe not.."she said. "Just on the off chance.." she said and pulled out her communicator.
"Sailor Venus to any scout who can hear me..."
"Sailor Earth here..Venus..where are you?"
"I'm on the ship.."
"Oh..so are we?" Sailor Earth said. "We're a little busy right now though.."
Guardian Moon and Guardian Jupiter were launching attacks at Sero who blasted them back.
"I am very powerful!" he shouted.
"Good for you!" Guardian Moon said firing his sword.
"You just hang on Venus, we'll find you eventually," Sailor Earth said. "I've gotta help the others."
"Oh..all right," Sailor Venus said. "Guess..I can manage."
"You're going to have to," Earth replied.
Saritin raced down another hallway and hurried into the room where her creations were held.
"They do not have all the power they should have, but that will have to do," she said and pressed a button. The doors swung open to the chambers her new warriors were in. They all began to wake.
"They'll know what to do!" She said and hurried for the bridge.
Sero unleashed a wave of energy. The three scouts met it and blocked it. The energy crackled against each other. Several warriors joined in and the energy pushed against the scouts.
"Hold em..." Guardian Moon said.
"That's what we're trying to do," Sailor Earth said.
"We can't keep this up forever!" Guardian Jupiter said.
"Hopefully he can't either!" Guardian Moon said.
"I assure you I will keep it up longer than you weaklings!" Sero said and
sent more energy flying at them. They grimaced and held it back.
And back at Sailor Scout High School.
"The alien ship is under attack," Sailor Mars said. "Let's go."
"But..are you sure?" Guardian Pluto said. "What can we do?"
"Something I hope," Sailor Mars said. "Come on!"
"But their fighters," Guardian Mars said.
"Do you see any?" Sailor Mars said.
"What do you think Uranus?" Guardian Pluto asked.
"Something's going on up there, it would be very risky to find out, however, if there are other scouts involved, we should support them," Sailor Uranus said.
The other three nodded.
"So let's see what we can do!" Sailor Uranus said.
"Well this place cleared out quickly," Guardian Uranus said standing in a vacant street.
"They all look like they're heading back up to the ship," Guardian Earth said. "Maybe they're going to leave."
"But why decide that now of all times, didn't seem like we were doing anything?"
"Yes, well..maybe some of us scared them,"Guardian Earth said.
"Maybe," Guardian Uranus said.
"Of course it could be a trap," Guardian Earth said.
"I thought that too, but what a strange trap."
"Those are the worst kinds."
"Have you fallen into many traps?"
"No, not really, there were a few," Guardian Earth said. "But we got out of them just as fast."
"Most of our enemies have given up on traps," Guardian Uranus said. "They prefer just to slug it out."
"That's because they're stupid," Guardian Earth said. "But you weren't around for the New York battles, those were some traps."
"Really you're in awe?" Uranus asked.
"Yeah."
"But these are the same aliens we're talking about here."
"Yes."
"So it might just be a trap."
"Yeah, but what can ya do?" Guardian Earth said rushing forward.
"That was my feeling," Guardian Uranus said.
"Quick load them on!" one of the aliens shouted as enemies were herded about a landing craft.
"VENUS STAR BURST!"
A barrage of troops fell to the ground. The troops turned.
"Neptune Tide of Destruction!"
More enemies fell. Guardian Venus dashed into the ship.
"This is so risky!" he said to himself and pointed the sword at the pilot. The pilot tensed. "Up there.." he said pointing at the ship. The pilot said something in his language.
Venus held the sword closer.."
The pilot started pressing buttons.
"If that's the self destruct you are so dead!" Venus said. Guardian Neptune hurried on.
"I didn't realize just how stupid this plan was?" Venus said.
"Yeah, well that's what you get," Neptune said. The ship slowly lifted off.
"That's a good sign," Venus said.
"Eh...we'll see," Neptune said.
"Why are you suddenly the skeptical one?" Venus asked.
"Don't know," Neptune said.
The fighter banked in towards the alien war ship.
"We're not going to be able to hold this much longer," Guardian Jupiter said.
"That I know," Guardian Moon said.
"If you surrender now, I will spare your lives," Sero said.
"Hey how do you know how to speak English anyway?" Guardian Moon shouted.
"One should know the language of one's enemies," Sero said. "Now what will it be?"
"We don't surrender!" Guardian Moon shouted.
"Then prepare for your destruction!"
"SATURN DIMENSIONAL REVOLUTION!"
"SATURN BLADE OF GALAXIES!"
Two attacks flew down the hall from behind Sero. The soldiers behind him vanished, and he pitched forward. Guardian Moon, Guardian Jupiter, and Sailor Earth fell to the floor from exhaustion.
Sailor Saturn and Guardian Saturn hurried up.
"This is not over!" Sero shouted sending energy blasting down the corridor. The two Saturn's avoided it.
"Let's go," Guardian Moon said slowly standing.
"That's an idea,"Guardian Jupiter said. The three weakened scouts dragged themselves down a corridor.
The two Saturns launched another attack the surprised Sero was thrown back down to the ground. The two scouts hurried away.
"So how'd you get aboard?" Guardian Jupiter asked.
"I could go into it, but we're here," Guardian Saturn said.
"We have to find Venus," Sailor Earth said.
"I'm honing in on her right now," Guardian Moon said. "Jeez..I'm tired."
"We've got to get Venus sand go," Guardian Jupiter said.
"Was it wise to attack this ship when it was hovering over the city?" Sailor Saturn asked.
"Had no choice," Guardian Moon said. "But you can debate the wisdom of my
actions later. Let's get Venus."
"Are you all right Lord Sero?" Saritin asked.
"I will be soon enough," Sero said.
"Our troops have almost completely returned. They are searching the ship for the scouts."
"Understood," Sero said. "I am heading back up there."
"I also unleashed my warriors, they should also be looking for the scouts."
"Good," Sero said. "What is our damage."
"Shields are still down, engines have been damaged, minor damage mostly, however we are still continuing to work on it, it's been hard to assess all the damage with the fighting."
"Understood, keep on it."
Sero then began heading back to the bridge.
Meanwhile a troop transport had set down in a landing bay.
"Thanks for the ride," Guardian Venus said and stabbed the pilot knocking him unconscious.
"Now that we're here, let's find Venus and go," Guardian Neptune said.
"I wasn't about to come up with any variation to that plan," Guardian Venus said.
The two hurried out and began blasting troops left and right.
"Of course the big question is how do we find them?" Guardian Neptune asked.
"I don't know," Guardian Venus said.
"Oh...I thought you had a plan."
"How would I have a plan?" Venus asked.
"Oh..well..you're really not holding up your end of the bargain then."
"Just shut up," Venus said.
"Have all our troops began recalled?" Saritin asked.
"We're getting scattered reports, there is still fighting on the surface, several of our divisions are still in combat," one of the officers said.
"Call back the fighters to aid them ground troops."
"Many of our fighters are low on fuel."
"It doesn't matter just do it!"
Saritin then headed over to another control panel.
"It seems like we must take desperate measures."
"Are you sure about this?" The officer said.
"Never mind your opinion! I'm going to blow that city to pieces and anyone left in it!"
"But.."
"Shut up!"
And Saritin began to work with the operations to the main cannon.
"It is time for a wide dispersal, to do what we should have done first."
"But with our power supplies dwindling, this could leave us even more vulnerable!"
"It won't matter after this is done!"
"But.."
"You are annoying me!" Saritin said and blasted the underling.
"URANUS WORLD SHAKING!"
"MARS FIRE IGNITE!"
"PLUTO STORM FIST!"
The three attacks blew a wave of troops away from a troop carrier.
"You know this isn't going to get us up there any faster," Guardian Mars said.
"He's got a point," Sailor Mars said.
A horde of enemy troops came running towards them.
"Oh..wonderful.. More of them want to play," Guardian Pluto said.
"Leave that to us!" Came a shout. The group all turned.
Sailor Moon stood on a rooftop.
"Hi guys!" she said.
From behind her came an army of monsters. They rushed down and attacked the alien soldiers. The battle was over quite quickly after that.
"Sailor Moon I'm so glad to see you," Sailor Mars said.
"But who are they?" Sailor Uranus said.
"Friends..." Sailor Moon said. "So you're trying to get up there too."
"Yes, but the transit service isn't very good," Guardian Pluto said.
"Hmm..no choice. We have to teleport," Sailor Moon said.
"But..we don't know where anyone else is," Sailor Uranus said. "They could all be down here for all we know."
"No, I know many of them are up there," Sailor Moon said. "I can feel it. Besides, this is the time to strike them anyway right?"
"She's right Uranus." Tuxedo Mask said.
"But we'll be weakened?" Sailor Uranus asked.
"Yeah, but not that much," Sailor Moon said. "Besides, they're in trouble too. We need to hit them while they're weak."
"I agree," Tuxedo Mask said.
"All my friends will keep an eye on things down here right?" Sailor Moon asked.
The monsters cheered.
"Take care you guys," Sailor Moon said.
The scouts began the teleport and soon vanished.
"Saritin what are you doing?" Sero asked walking onto the bridge.
"We've got to destroy that city of theirs," Saritin said.
"No.." Sero said. "Not now. We don't have the energy right now!"
"We do!" Saritin said.
"Follow my orders. It is not that desperate, our troops are here we will take care of the scouts. Now give me a report and then we'll go after them all."
"Yes Lord Sero," Saritin said.
And elsewhere several new warriors were hurrying down the passageways.
"Reinforcements good," One of the common soldiers said.
"Yes, you might say that," One of the warriors said and blasted the soldiers. The warriors then began to drain their energy.
"It is much more useful for everyone anyway," the leader of the warrior said. "You were worthless, but we are true fighters, and now the scouts will feel our wrath!"
The warriors all let out growls and raced down the passageway.
