Chapter 377
The scouts all took up position.
"Yes I can see you're ready for a fight," Viko said. "But I can't say that I don't pity you. This will be quite painful."
"Can I ask you something?" Guardian Earth said. "Just why do you evil forces always see the need to gloat?"
"It is our right!" Viko said.
"It seems like all you have psychologically," Guardian Jupiter said.
The scouts all laughed.
"Yeah, inferiority complex for sure," Guardian Pluto said.
"How would you know?" Guardian Mars said.
"I've had problems in the past," Guardian Pluto said.
"That I believe!" Guardian Mars said.
"Enough! We are here for combat!" Viko shouted.
"Last chance to give up," Sailor Moon said.
"I will reverse that, it is your last chance to give up," Viko said.
"No..no..no..now just what are the chances we are actually going to accept that dummy, I mean..we propose surrender, now we're going to accept it, stuff that white flag up your...ehh..never mind.."
"I grow tired of hearing you all speak," Viko said.
Guardian Moon and Guardian Mercury fired their swords at equal distances on either side of Viko's head.
"That's it!" Viko shouted and his forces flew into actions.
The scouts all tensed began their counterattack.
And yet another final battle began.
There were only a few warriors, and of course twenty two scouts, so the odds weren't even numerically, but the power of the warriors evened things.
The scouts had planned for this though, and had split up accordingly by groups which worked out well.
The Starlights faced Aiko on the end of the line. The Guardians excepting Saturn, and Maverick included stood on the other against Miko.
Guardian and Sailor Earth and Guardian Moon stood against Biko.
Sailor Neptune, Pluto and, Uranus stood against Ciko.
The inners faced Diko.
Sailor Saturn stood with Guardian Mercury and Guardian Saturn behind the line in reserve.
The inner sailors paired up. Sailor Moon stood against Viko with Tuxedo Mask
next to her.
"Mars Star Laser!"
"Jupiter Star Inferno!"
The two attacks flew at their enemy who blasted them away.
"Hmm..seems like this could be a problem," Jupiter observed. Their enemy fired several times back at them.
"Distract her, I'll try to get in close!" Guardian Venus said.
Jupiter and Mars split up and drawing their swords quickly circled the enemy firing. Aiko charged Jupiter and crashed into him throwing him to the ground.
Venus raced forward.
"Venus Star Burst!" he shouted.
The attack knocked the enemy back causing him to spin and fire point blank into Venus.
"MARS STAR LASER!"
The attack hit the enemy in the back and Aiko forward. But Aiko whirled just as fast. Mars dived out of the way of the attacks.
"They've already blown it," Gmerc said and raced in their general direction.
"Mercury...Devout Revenge!"
The attack flew out and slammed into Aiko. Mercury charged forward and swung his blades unleashing waves of energy. Aiko dived under them and went to hit Gmerc head on. Gmerc jumped over him and fired. Aiko pitched forward, but still spun.
"Mars Star Laser!"
The attacks hit again, Aiko took it and launched an attack. Gmerc pulled Mars to the ground and fired back quickly. Aiko unleashed a massive barrage.
Gmerc leapt away and began shooting rapidly, Mars was hit.
We need more power. Mars thought and suddenly it was there. He stood up slowly, the attack really hit hard. He coughed.
Jupiter and Venus stood.
Aiko shot a fireball that began to chase after Gmerc.
"Wonderful," Gmerc said and started leaping to avoid it.
"Venus...Zealous Emotion!"
An attack similar to Venus's love and beauty shock, only larger flew out.
"Jupiter Lightening Tumult!"
A small energy storm exploded into the air.
"MARS! Burning Mandala!"
The attacks shot out. Aiko dodged them in shock.
The three scouts faced him quickly.
Aiko readied himself.
Gmerc blew up the fire ball and surveyed the scene.
"Earth Elemental Vigor!"
"Earth Elemental Vigor!"
"Moon Silver Millennium Revenge!"
The three attacks converged.
"Nah..I don't wanna do that," Biko said and let the attacks explode harmlessly against a force shield.
"Then again!" Guardian Moon shouted.
The three attacks hit Biko's shield.
"Yes..just keep doing that..."
"No.." Guardian Earth said and charged forward, sword drawn.
"Watch it!" Guardian Moon said.
The energy shield flew out and knocked Guardian Earth to the ground. Guardian Moon quickly opened fire as did a staff wielding Sailor Earth.
Biko grinned and blasted each attack away.
"Let's try the shield again," he said.
Guardian Moon and Sailor Earth looked at each other worriedly.
Sailor Uranus was not interested in games, even though Ciko was taunting them.
"Oh come on..attack me..what are you scared," Ciko said.
"She's obviously got something planned," Neptune said.
"The trick is to use that to our advantage," Uranus said.
"What's your plan," Pluto said.
"I don't have one yet," she said drawing her sword.
The ground exploded under them. They were thrown into the air.
"Fooled you!" Ciko said sweeping forward.
"SATURN DIMENSIONAL REVOLUTION!"
The attack swung right at Ciko and blasted her back again.
"Your tricks are not impressive," Sailor Saturn said. "Now face the Sailor of Death!"
"Oo..aren't you cute?" Ciko said and the leapt in the air showering the four scouts with energy.
They all moved out of the way as best as they could. Saturn twirled her staff and began firing back. Ciko grinned and floated dropping energy back down at the Sailor Scout. Saturn grimaced and dodged it.
Sailor Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto began to stand.
"Now again!" Ciko shouted.
The ground exploded throwing the four back.
Ciko grinned and pelted the ground with energy.
"Ah..geez.." Guardian Saturn said and hurried to their aid.
"Another one? Well all right," Ciko said and dropped firing as she did so. Guardian Saturn leapt upward avoiding the attacks and swung down right through a surprised Ciko. She screeched. Saturn fired at close range pushing Ciko back. She hurriedly fired back, the energy's converged and blasted Guardian Saturn to the ground.
"Uranus World Shaking!" Uranus shouted from one knee.
The attack slammed along the ground and blasted Ciko backward. She hit the
ground and slowly stood up. The other scouts also tried to get to their feet.
Diko laughed.
The four Sailor Scouts stared her down.
"Am I supposed to be scared? I'm not," she said. "I'm more than ready for you.." she said.
"Mercury Bubbles Blast!"
The fog shot out.
"Please.." Diko said.
The scouts shot forward.
"Mercury Aqua Rhapsody."
"Jupiter Oak Evolution!"
"Mars Fire Soul!"
"Venus Love and Beauty Shock!"
The four attacks shot at Diko, faster then she expected, she quickly blasted them away. Sailor Jupiter leapt at her. She stepped back quickly, and narrowly avoided a kick from Sailor Mars.
"You meddlesome scouts!" she shouted shooting energy out in all directions. The scouts all ducked.
"Venus Crescent Beam Smash!" Venus shouted.
"And again!"
Two crescent beams slammed into Diko's knees. She fell forward.
"Mercury! Frigid Tsunami!"
The attack blasted right at her. She swung her fist. The attack exploded knocking her, Sailor Mars and Sailor Jupiter several feet.
"Come on..let's finish the job," Sailor Venus said.
Diko swung up and shot a wall of energy at the two.
"Venus Love and Beauty Shock!"
The attack hit the wall and detonated. The attack exploded knocking the two back, but they stood.
The four scouts slowly circled Diko.
"Yes..just keep that up!" Diko shouted and fired energy back.
The four launched their own attacks.
The whole area impacted. The four scouts were thrown back. Diko sank to the
ground.
"Let me show you how it's done," Maverick said racing forward.
Miko fired back at her. She avoided each attack or knocked it away with a combination of flips, spins and defense with her sword.
"Time to rock," Guardian Uranus said and raced forward after her. Maverick spun and fired. Miko dodged the attack.
"Uranus Flame of Desire!"
It smashed into Miko. Miko winced and whirled hitting Guardian Uranus with a full blast. He sank to the ground. Maverick capitalized hitting Miko with her stab attack. Miko screeched and was pushed forward.
"Neptune TIDE OF DESTRUCTION!"
"Pluto HURRICANE PUNCH!"
The attacks hit Miko dead on. Miko screeched and turned shooting energy right into the two Guardian Scouts. He then whirled to face Maverick. The girl's eyes narrowed.
This is not going easy.
"You could fight me right now," Viko said. "But I'm not interested in it. We'll just how everyone else does."
Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Moon continued to watch over him.
Viko grinned.
"Not surprised," he said. "What don't you trust me?"
"Come closer and find out," Sailor Moon said.
"Ah..no.." Viko said. "I'll pass."
"You three soften her up," Gmerc said.
"And what are you planning?" Guardian Jupiter asked.
"I'm going to make her an easy target, but don't get any bright ideas and fire before I'm the heck out of the way! Got it!"
"Yeah, yeah," Guardian Mars said.
"Come on!" Aiko shouted.
Gmerc charged forward two swords drawn Aiko fired back. Gmerc spun both attacks away with his swords.
"Wha.." Aiko said.
"I'm good," Gmerc said and fired both blades of his swords. Aiko dived out of the way and spun towards him, Gmerc kept up the pressure.
"He's making himself very vulnerable," Venus said.
"He's also not giving Aiko time to think, be ready," Jupiter said.
"Yeah I get it," Mars said.
Gmerc grinned.
"Come on!" he said and swung again. Aiko shouted and fired a quick blast of energy. Gmerc leapt over him and swung around hitting Aiko with both swords. The warrior spun and fired another bolt connecting and knocking Gmerc to the ground.
"Mars Intense Rhythm!"
"Venus Brilliant Flare!"
"Jupiter Gale Blaze!"
The three attacks flew out. Aiko whirled and was blasted by the three.
"Again!" Jupiter shouted.
"Mars Intense Rhythm!"
"Venus Brilliant Flare!"
"Jupiter Gale Blaze!"
The three shouted running forward.
"Mercury Infinite Revenge!"
The fourth attack hit Aiko in the back, he stumbled forward and let out a massive blast. The four scouts were knocked backward.
"I..will..not be defeated."
"Fire! Just do it!" Gmerc shouted.
The fours swords shot. Hitting Aiko. Aiko exploded.
"Well..that was easy," Guardian Mars said.
"It doesn't matter if you are on different sides of me or not," Biko said.
"Ah..but it might," Guardian Moon said. Guardian Earth was slowly recovering.
"How exactly?" Biko asked.
"Now why would we tell you?" Sailor Earth asked.
"Be sporting if you did," Biko said.
"He's right," Guardian Moon said.
"He sure is," Sailor Earth said. "But..no.."
"Get em!" Guardian Moon said racing forward.
"No!" Biko said shooting out his shield.
"GALACTIC MOON RETALIATION!"
The energy attacks hit and impacted. Guardian Moon was knocked to the ground.
"Earth spirits..hear..me.." Sailor Earth said and dug her staff into the ground.
"No you don't!" Biko said spinning and firing. Sailor Earth was blasted to the ground.
"I'm still here," Guardian Earth said.
"But not for long," Biko said building up some energy.
The ground literally uprooted pushing him upward. He let out a shout of terror. Sailor Earths' staff remained stuck in the ground.
"He fell for it," Guardian Earth said.
Biko stood up quickly.
The ground fell away dropping him towards the ground.
He let out a yell.
"Earth!"
The attack hit Biko as he hit the ground.
"Galactic..Moon Retribution!"
The attack hit Biko pushing him back.
Sailor Earth grabbed her staff. Two rocks formed in the ground and rose up. They crashed together right into Biko. He let out a shout and vaporized.
"How unfortunate," Sailor Earth said weakly.
Ciko and the five scouts opposing her were all heavily weakened, but they all could stand, barely and were facing off.
"You don't stand a chance against me!" he shouted.
"SATURN SOLEMN RETRIBUTION"
The new attack surprised Ciko as a wave of ghostly figures swirled around her. She blasted away at them in surprise at the apparition.
"There's the opening! Uranus....Trembling Rancor!"
"Neptune...Surge Deluge!"
"Saturn Acute Strike!" Guardian Saturn shouted.
"Pluto Epic Oracle!"
The first two attacks wounded Ciko. The third and fourth finished her off. Ciko shouted and shirked and then vanished.
"Well..that's quite an attack.." Neptune said.
"Hah hah hah, you can't beat me Sailor Girls!"
"Just try me!" Sailor Jupiter weakened like them all said dodging an attack.
"Jupiter Sparkling Wide Pressure!"
"Mars Warrior's Inferno!"
The other two had used the super attacks. These crashed into Diko, but she slightly deflected them.
"Now what?" Sailor Venus said.
"She's still quite strong...." Sailor Mercury said. "But can you feel it."
"Yes.." Sailor Venus said.
Diko stood.
"I'm ready for you!" she said and unleashed a spiraling hail of energy.
The four scouts met the attacks with their own. Once again they were knocked back. Diko slowly stood.
"Let's risk it. Mercury Blizzard Torrent!"
"Venus Zealous Emotion!"
"Mars Burning Mandala!"
"Jupiter Lightening Tumult!"
The four attacks flew out and smashed into Diko's defenses. Diko exploded.
The four scouts dropped.
"Come on!" Miko said.
"Oh..you want some of this," Maverick said and kept stabbing.
"Now.." Guardian Uranus said.
"Right..Neptune...Sharp Zephyr!"
Small bolts of energy began spinning and bouncing across the ground.
Miko whirled. Maverick dived out of the way. Miko dived over the strange new attack.
"Pluto..Insurgent Typhoon!"
From his hand shot a whirlwind that spun Miko around quickly.
"Uranus...Furious Sparks!"
The attack hit Miko. She screeched and hit Uranus.
"Neptune Tide of Destruction!"
She blocked the next attack and hit.
Maverick charged and swung her sword through Miko, hitting and hitting Miko grabbed her and shot energy through her. The two shouted in pain.
"Guys," Guardian Uranus said. The Guardians quickly stood up and dug their
swords into Miko. The enemy exploded. They collapsed.
"An impressive show," Viko said. "But now it's you and me. Stand down Tuxedo Mask..you know you cannot help her."
"I'll take care of him," Sailor Moon said.
Tuxedo Mask stood back.
"Now we could of course try and go hand to hand, but that's not my style, I doubt it's yours either. So let's just cut to our attack..the one that will destroy the other or will fail and be destroyed."
"Fine," Sailor Moon said tensing. She held her scepter.
Viko began to glow. Energy crackled in his hands. Sailor Moon began to glow as well, the folds of her dress swirling.
Tuxedo Mask watched in amazement hoping that Sailor Moon would have enough power to win.
Come on. Do it Serena. He thought.
Sailor Moon grimaced.
Viko's smile was gone.
The two concentrated even more.
Viko's concentration broke for a split second as he noticed crystal Tokyo glowing, and slowly dissipating, returning to it's constituent atoms and flowing right towards Sailor Moon.
He built up more strength. Sailor Moon could feel the energy surrounding her. Her dress disappeared, instead a new uniform formed around her.
She's gained more power. Tuxedo Mask said.
"Supreme...Moon..Power..give me the strength!" Sailor Moon shouted and unleashed her attack. Viko launched his. The power swept through him and he vaporized instantly.
"Wow..." Tuxedo Mask said.
"That was fast," Sailor Moon observed.
"Gee.." Tuxedo Mask said. "You really wasted him."
"I guess I did," Sailor Moon said and fell to the ground.
"You've earned the rest," Tuxedo Mask said.
It wasn't long until the people began returning to Tokyo in droves. Their was repairs to be made, and houses to move back into. The army and the police were first to arrive to set up control, and then the people started filling back in.
The scouts all stood on the roof of Darren's apartment.
"Well it's finally over," Sailor Moon said.
"Until the next time," everyone else muttered.
"Hey don't think that way," Sailor Moon said. "Maybe they're won't be a next time."
"You have managed to eliminate every major power within this known section of the universe," Maverick said.
"See there we go," Sailor Moon said.
"Let's not worry about the next enemy all right, let's celebrate beating this one," Sailor Venus said.
"Great idea," everyone said.
"Hey.you know what this means though.." Guardian Neptune said.
"What?" Everyone asked worriedly.
"There's going to be a lot of people who can't use the bathroom, I suggest we all go on vacation," Neptune said.
"I'm all for that!" Sailor Venus said. "Who's with me!"
"But where would we go?" Guardian Venus muttered.
"I know a great place," Sailor Moon said. "The hot springs!"
"Oh..now that's just looking for trouble," Sailor Mars said.
"Every trip there's a new monster," Sailor Jupiter muttered.
"Oh come on! There are so many of us though," Sailor Moon said.
"I just want to go home and go to bed," Sailor Pluto said.
"Speaking of monsters though," Sailor Moon said. "I've got some people to
see."
Sailor Moon soon arrived int he underground lair of the monsters. It had been quite easier to find this time with the Sewer Daimon's help.
"So we won the war," Sailor Moon said.
"That is good."
"And now I'm going to help you get reassimilated into society."
"No, that's all right."
"What?"
"Well..Sailor Moon, we appreciate the gesture, but you have so much to do right now. You must protect this planet, and we know how the people will react when they see us."
"Now don't think that way. We can work this out," Sailor Moon said. "I won't prejudice stop me."
"Maybe someday, but not yet, perhaps when there is peace.."
"But there is peace."
"Yes..well...when peace is more stable. The world is quite unstable right now."
"Yes, but I'll help you."
"Don't worry. We're doing fine down here, it's a good life. Someday, maybe. That is our wish."
Sailor Moon stared into his eyes.
"I don't agree with it, but I understand, so I will listen," Sailor Moon said. "But I'll come visit."
"That would be nice," the leader of the monsters said.
"Count on it," Sailor Moon said with a smile.
