| The most powerful mozaku after Shabranigdo, Hellmaster Phibrizzo has been using Xellos (servant of Zelas) for his plans, since his minions were all destroyed in the War of the Monster's Fall 1000 years ago. Phibrizzo had set up a plan to take advantage of Lina's magic, and use her Giga Slave to destroy the world. The plan was so secret, even Xellos wasn't told the full details of it (although he did figure most of it out later). Of course, Gaav wanted to know about those plans, but every time he got his hands on Xellos, Xellos would just say his famous phrase and teleport away, to the continued annoyance and frustration of the Demon Dragon King. Hellmaster's plans worked perfectly... well, almost. |
| Phibrizzo's plan was this: He would let Gaav continue to try to get his plans from Xellos, which Xellos would obviously never reveal. He had hoped that Gaav would provoke Lina to cast the Giga Slave, thereby initiating his plan very quickly. However, that didn't work. Fortunately for him, Phibrizzo was only half-expecting the battle with Gaav to cause Lina to cast that awesome spell. Now, as he used Gaav for bait, Phibrizzo destroyed him when he felt that Lina was about to be killed. Without Lina Inverse, then the Giga Slave could never be cast. Taking Gourry as a hostage, Phibrizzo lured the Slayers to Sairaag. Eventually persuading Lina to cast the Giga Slave, Phibrizzo was destroyed when the Lord of Nightmares herself was called forth, and was swept into insanity when his "perfect plans" were destroyed. Phibrizzo is the controller of death, and human lives are his toys. The soul orbs that he possesses enable him to kill any human he desires instantly. |
