Xellos Metallium: A most mysterious and powerful priest, Xellos almost destroyed the entire Golden Dragon race during the War of the Monster's Fall. He met up with Lina when she was destroying everything to try and find the Claire Bible, and was appearing and disappearing all through Slayers Next and Slayers Try. It was only later that he was discovered to be a monster. Usually very calm and collected, he can only be annoyed by Filia, and he is always up to something. Whether he's serving Hellmaster or Beastmaster at the current moment, you can never quite be sure whether he's helping out, setting people up for a trap, or initiating a plan to destroy the Slayers altogether. His favorite line is, "Now THAT is a secret!" First appearance: Slayers Next- episode 2

Filia Ul Copt: A Golden Dragon and a priestess of the Fire Dragon King, Filia met Lina & Co. when a prophecy foretold something terrible about to happen. After Lina's sister decided not to take the job, Lina was the stand-in to save the world. Lina wasn't too happy about this... until she saw the letter from her sister. That's when she took the job. Filia can have a very bad temper, and is VERY angry and annoyed when Lina doesn't stay on task (going to the temple of the Fire Dragon King and saving the world), and instead does other things (eating). However, Filia's hatred of these things doesn't come close to how she feels about Xellos. Knowing that Xellos nearly destroyed her race makes her feel repulsed whenever Xellos is nearby. Oh, and she just LOVES [hitting Xellos with] her mace. First appearance: Slayers Try- episode 1

Secondary Characters

Sylphiel Nel Rada: Sylphiel was with Lina in the battles against both the Rezo copy and Hellmaster Phibrizzo. She's usually very shy, and for some reason always refers to Gourry as "Gourry dear". In the battle against the Rezo copy, she prevented Lina from using the Giga Slave, and instead searched for an alternate solution by using the Blessed Blade and the holy tree Flagoon. In the battle against Hellmaster, she was almost able to destroy Phibrizzo by teaming up with Lina to use a double Dragonslave, but, unfortunately, that failed. Sylphiel can cast the Dragonslave, but fails miserably at spells as simple as the Flare Arrow. She has high level white magic, and, according to Gourry, excels in cooking. Martina Zoana Mel Navratilova: Ever since Lina destroyed her kingdom, Martina has been seeking revenge. However, she's more of a nuisance than a threat. She was also in the battle against Hellmaster, and she was the one who told Lina to be true to her own feelings. In that way, she might have been one of the main causes of Lina casting the Giga Slave and destroying Phibrizzo. In times of danger, or to bring her luck, Martina prays to the Monstrous Zomulgoostar (I probably spelt that wrong), which is a god she made up herself. In the picture at left, she's holding up one of the charms she made. Martina is usually the comic relief in Slayers. First appearance: Slayers Next- episode 1

Prince Philionel of Seyruun: The father of Amelia, Prince Phil is "a true defender of justice". Lina first met him when she was waiting for a handsome prince to pick her up... but she got stuck with Prince Phil, who she had first mistakened for a bandit. Phil was the one that taught Amelia everything about goodness and justice. Although he claims he's a pacifist, his "Pacifist Crush" and "Goodwill Towards Men Slash" prove otherwise.
