The After Colony Timeline

This timeline could be used as a refrence to all the crazy stuff I talk about on my site. It's kinda rough, but I'll try to improve on it! ^_^ Enjoy!

Note: Most of this was written with help from TMT. I did not copy them, but simply used their timeline as a guide (Since I myself cannot read Japanese all that well, just kanji!). So it is a piece of original work. I also used the manga series Episode Zero and the Endless Waltz novelization, plus the Gundam Wing Encyclopedia.

AC 001- The After Colony calendar is established after the development of space colonies start. The conflicts on Earth continue to escalate, and the people seek a haven of peace to go to.

AC 020- Now people have discovered the technology to built permanant residencies in space, and the first space colonies are built and established at the first Lagrange point, L1. As a show of power, many nations also begin to support the construction of colonies. Tired of the continuous conflicts on Earth, many people begin to move to the colonies. However, because of the harsh conditions and previously unknown diseases, development and growth of the colonies is slowed.

AC 040- As conflicts on Earth spread, many space colonies are involved because of their backing nations. The colonies begin to have friction toward one another, and many unfinished colonies are scrapped as conflicts continue on Earth.

AC 050- The investors from the various countries put forth less to the colonies because of losses due to the wars on Earth, and immigration of the space colonies slow. However, people in the Middle East turn toward the colonies as a potenial new source of wealth after their petroleum reserves are drained. They take over construction and colonies are built at other Lagrange points.

AC 070- Because the countries on Earth have withdrawn their support, conflicts over the distribution of resources arise in the colonies. Middle Eastern leaders start negotiations and send people serving as ambassadors to the colonies. They then get the idea to use asteroids as natural resource satillites, eliminating the threat of debates over the lack of resources. Also, the system for distributing the resources is reorganized to prevent the further colonization of space.

AC 102- At the first Lagrange point, the first ever colony is completed, and people again flock to the colonies, creating colony clusters. At this time, 15% of all humans now live in outer space.

AC 130- The mass migration of people to the colonies weaken the countries on Earth.

AC 133- The United Earth Sphere Alliance is formed, calling for a peaceful solution to the conflicts on Earth. A security council is formed, and also an Army of the Alliance. Then, in the name of peace, the Alliance uses its new military powers to end debates by force. During all this, the Alliance forces the Ron Clan in China to move to the colony A0206 at L5.

AC 139- The colonies form a self-government and start forming a plan to create defensive measures against the Alliance, who which by now had grown extrememly oppressive. The Alliance, alarmed at the news, decides to send more military forces to the colonies to prevent a revolt.

AC 140- The Alliance insists that the colonies join it, and in the process, crushes all self-government. An underground movement against the Alliance is formed.

AC 145- A group of ambassadors sent from Earth disappear at L1. The underground movement for the independence of the space colonies grow.

AC 147- The Alliance establishes a military occupation among the colonies.

AC 149- The Alliance gives complete sovereignty of the colonies to the origin countries. Capitalists and investors swarm to the colonies, bringing even more immigrants. This begins a period of peace and stability in the space colonies.

AC 150- A council is formed to solve problems and disputes within the colonies. Because of the growing resistance to the Alliance, the leaders of the colonies form a committee and set up branches in each colony.

AC 165- The colonial negotiation committee elects Heero Yuy as their representative. This committee tries to establish itself in all colonies. Heero Yuy becomes the leader of the colonies, advocating non-violence and disarmament.

AC 170- Heero Yuy, advocating peace and disarmament, gains a great amount of supporters from the colonies.

AC 173- At L1, he issues the "Colony Disarmament Proclamation," which is to take place in two years. Under his leadership, various colonies declare themselves to be independent and without armaments. Meanwhile, on Earth, the mysterious weapons manufacturer, the Romefeller Foundation, begins the development of Mobile Suits. Because colonial independence would result in losses for the Foundation, it begins to interfere in the colonies' affairs.

AC 174- Heero Yuy visits Earth. He stops in the many countries supporting disarmament, mostly in L1's originating region, Asia. More countries on Earth approve of the Colonial Disarmament Proclamation and begin to reconsider their own independence.

AC 175- Heero Yuy is assassinated by an unknown gunman, whose name was Adin Lowe. The Colonial Disarmament Proclamation is permanently put on hold. As the colonies enter a state of confusion, lacking a leader, choas ensues. There is rumor that 6 scientists escaped from the Alliance MS Development Committee right after they develped the first combat-ready MS, the Tallgeese. A mass production line for MS is implemented by the Romefeller Foundation, resulting in the construction of the Leo. The secret military organization "OZ" is also founded in this year.

AC 176- The Alliance start to send the first Specials MS team to the colonies. The Specials is actually a front in the Alliance for the secret organization OZ, a part of the Romefeller foundation. Their oppressive military tactics help establish martial law in the colonies, and comminucation between the colonies is discontinued to prevent them from rising in a revolt against the Alliance.

AC 177- Alliance military operations on Earth increase to wipe out the various countries still holding out against the Alliance. The Specials forces perform incredibly well in these operations, and receive praise from everyone, thus, they gain more and more power, and eventually, receive the right to act independently.

AC 180- The Sanc Kingdom's Peacecraft king sets the course for absolute pacifism. With this, the Sanc Kingdom, then a part of the Alliance, wins the approval of many other countries.

AC 182- Alliance forces led by General O'Neil attack and destory the capital of the Sank Kingdom. During the attack, the king is killed, but the whereabouts of the young prince Milliardo is unknown. Princess Relena, however, is taken and adopted by one of King Peacecraft's most trustworthy aides, Darlian.

AC 187- The Maxwell Church Massacre occurs after a rebel uprising in the colony by Quinze, who wanted badly Alliance MS for his rebellion. A young boy named Duo volunteers to steal them. However, when he returns to the church, he finds that the Alliance had destoryed everything to crush the uprising.

AC 188- Chaos arises in X18999, and seeking revenge against the Alliance for ordering him to kill Heero Yuy, Adin Lowe starts on a mission to assassinate General Septem. However, things don't go as planed and Adin is killed. His young ward, later codenamed Heero Yuy, tries to finish the job for him by killing Septem. However, a young Specials officer, Trieze Kushrenada, blocks the shot intended for Septem in his MS, and is wounded. The mysterious boy escapes, and deprived of his protector, meets Dr. J. As Trieze recovers, he meets nurse Leia Barton and one year later, Leia gives birth to a girl, Mariemeia Barton, the daughter of Trieze Kushrenada.

AC 190- Nanashi, a soldier in a mercenary band fighting the Alliance on Earth, meets Middie Une, who turns out to be a spy for the Alliance.

AC 191- The Alliance base near Ambassador Darlian's residence is attacked, and Relena is captured by a rebel group and held for ransom. The Specials are called in to wipe the rebels out, and a young Specials officer named Zechs Merquise, who was actually Relena's long lost brother Milliardo, rescues her but doesn't say anything about his or her past.

AC 192- Duo meets Professor G at OZ's lunar base while stowing away on the Sweepers salvage ship, the Peacemillion. Professor G likes him, so he takes Duo under his wing and ultimately trains him as a future Gundam pilot.

AC 193- Treize Khushrenada becomes commander-in-chief of OZ after the tragic death of the Specials former leader, General Catalonia. The Maganac Corps take over the natural resource satillite MO-III in defiance against the Alliance's oppressive rule and takes people hostage there. Quatre goes and talks with them, and ultimately help them in their cause, winning the Corps' trust and support, and the Corps vow to help out Quatre however possible in the future. Instructor H then goes with Quatre back home to train him for Operation M.

AC 194- The Alliance, feeling that the colony A0206 was growing old, decides to destory the colony with chemical weapons. When the Specials unit comes, they are faced with an unexpected enemy, Meirian, Wufei's wife, in a prototype Leo. Wufei, seeing this, rush to help his wife piloting the yet unfinished Gundam Shenlong but was too late. She died in his arms.

AC 195- Operation Meteor, a secret operation of the certain colonial individuals against the Alliance, commences in early April, AC 195, with plans to land five Gundams on Earth's surface and attack Alliance bases that serve as a refuge for OZ. Ambassador to the colonies and Alliance Vice Foreign Minister Darlian is assassinated while trying to start peace talks with the colony representatives by Specials officer Lady Une.

General Noventa and other Alliance leaders die by the hands of Wing Gundam at the New Edwards Base while discussing disarmarment and friendship toward the colonies. The Gundams meet later that day at the New Edwards Base. OZ meanwhile commences Operation Daybreak, a coup d'tat to overthrow the Alliance. The Earth falls into the hands of the Romefeller Foundation. OZ then uses the colonies as hostages, forcing Wing Gundam to self destruct. Zechs, perplexed and facinated with the Gundam pilot Heero Yuy, repairs his Gundam and hopes for a second meeting. Meanwhile, he gets his revenge and kills Alliance General O'Neil, who destoryed his homeland. Zechs later leaves OZ, disillusioned by the new group of people tainting the organization's name and battles Heero at the South Pole.

With Lady Une as the ambassator for OZ to the space colonies, OZ begin to use a gentler approach to win over the colonies. With this, OZ pretends to be a peaceful organization attempting to liberate the colonies from the Alliance. At the same time, they are developing Mobile Dolls to increase their military power and portraying the Gundams as the colonies' greatest enemies. Sandrock self destructs at OZ's Singapore base trying to get into outer space to save the colonies from OZ. so only two Gundams return to space, Deathscythe and Shenlong. Wing and Heavyarms are hidden somewhere on the globe.

Because of OZ taking over outer space and trying to convert it into a military factory, the Winner family refuse to hand over their natural resource satillite over to OZ, and Father Winner sacrifices himself to prevent OZ from using the satillite. Quatre, outraged after the death of his father, starts attacking other colonies in the newly built Wing Zero Gundam. Heero and Trowa are sent by OZ to defeat Quatre, and in the process, Trowa ends up missing in action.

Because he is opposed to the Romefeller Foundation's new ideas of using mobile dolls, Treize is placed under house arrest. OZ is split into two different factions: the OZ that is under the control of the Romefeller Foundation with it's huge mobile doll army and the Trieze Faction, composed of the soldiers still loyal to Trieze Kushrenada. Although Relena Peacecraft reestablishes the Sanc Kingdom and continues the policy of absolute pacifism, gaining some support, the Sanc Kingdom soon becomes a nuisance to the Romefeller Foundation, causing it to attack. Zechs acquires the Wing Zero and rush back to save the Sanc Kingdom. However, he encounters Heero in the new Gundam Epyon, and the two begin a meaningless duel. Afterwards, they switch mobile suits.

Queen Relena becomes the figurehead for the Romefeller Foundation, which uses her to win over the support of many countries, and the World Nation is formed, eliminating boundaries among nations. Because of this, a temporary peace on Earth arises. The five Gundam pilots meet on the Peacemillion to face the threat of the White Fang after the Artemis Revolution takes place, in which Quinze and his organization take over the new Romefeller battleship Libra. They select Milliardo Peacecraft to be their leader and declare war on Earth.

Treize regains power over OZ, and Relena steps down from her throne. The White Fang engages the World Nation in a final battle, the Eve Wars. During all this, Treize's World Nation army comprising of mostly Space Leos battle Libra while the five Gundams also take sides in the war, mostly on the side of the World Nation. As a last ditch effort, Quinze plunges the Libra toward Earth but Heero manages to destory it in the atmosphere after Milliardo destoryed the main power cell to the section that was still falling. In the end, Treize was killed by his mortal enemy, Wufei, and Zechs has disappeared in the explosion of the Libra and the Earth Sphere United Nation is established.

AC 196- L3's X18999 colony declare war on Earth armed with new MS made of neo-titanium, the Serpent. The Mariemaia Army under the direction of Dekim Barton decide to implement the original version of Operation Meteor. They are stopped by the Gundam pilots and the newly created Preventers organization, including the returned Zechs Merquise/Milliardo Peacecraft. After the battle, all the weapons were destoryed, including the Gundams.

AC 197- Peace follows after the wars. The colonies and Earth coexsist beautifully. Under Vice Foreign Minister Relena Darlian's direction, the terraforming project on Mars begins. From this point, all weapons cease to exsist, including the Gundams.
