I think that the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI, besides the spiritual goodness and formation it can give, is also beneficial in keeping people together, making them feel at home and not abandoned, helping them in their needs and supporting them in their difficulties. Until now, I have never observed the community to serve for personal interest or advantage, nor have I ever heard of any conflict among its members. I think that everything is done with love and everybody is motivated with the best intentions. |

From the very beginning, the emphasis and commitment of the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI Italy Chapter towards prayer, Christian fellowship, and apostolic service to its prayer-groups have been evident. This fundamental thrust has been immensely beneficial to the whole Filipino community in San Lorenzo. The small group that has started their weekly prayer sessions at Basilica di San Lorenzo grew in number. With their perseverance in group prayer, they have become the spiritual powerhouse of the community. I can say that many lives have changed and many people have matured in their faith. Rev.
Fr. Emil M. Santos, S.D.B. The El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI Australia Chapter is duly approved and acknowledged by the Catholic hierarchy here in Australia. In my capacity as official chaplain of the different Catholic communities of Filipinos in New South Wales, I highly endorse this Catholic charismatic group for its laudable apostolate. The regular prayer-meetings, Bible study sessions, healing rallies and life-in-the-spirit seminars and various charitable projects of the group have strengthened the faith of so many permanent Filipino residents here in Sydney, and brought back to the fold of the Catholic Church many of those who had gone over to other religious sects. The leaders and members of this group here in Sydney deserve a commendation for their zeal in witnessing to the miracles that the Lord Jesus Christ has done to their lives. All their efforts have led them to enjoy a happy and harmonious community life. Glory to God! Rev.
