As a Catholic group, the primary aim of the El Shaddai
DWXI-PPFI has been to help people seek God and become closer to Him. As a result, we have members of this community going to church, attending the Eucharistic celebrations and showing devotion to the Virgin Mary. These manifest a growth in the traditional practice of the Faith. This is also preceded by a deepening of the knowledge of our faith because besides what we, as priests, can give, the Foundation has also its core of lay preachers. The members and followers of this group are supporting the Church and have shown a better relationship with their bishops and priests.

It is my fervent prayer that the Foundation will continue to grow as a means of renewing the faith, the hope and the Christian love of its members, so that they will become a potent force in the renewal of the life of modern Church and society.  May  the  Holy  Spirit guide

the group in all its endeavors, and may the Blessed Mother continue to be a figure in its devotion. Thank you!

At first, most of us, bishops, were asking who Bro. Mike Velarde is and what is he doing.  But when we invited him to the CBCP meeting last January 1993, he was very nice and we got more than what we expected of him. He was able to explain and answer all our questions satisfactorily. In fact, most of the bishops had a very good impression about him, including myself.

I am so happy that there is a man whom God has blessed, and we can see it by the fruits of the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI. The way I see him, he is very sincere and very humble. I believe that it is indeed the Holy Spirit Who is working through him. I'm also glad to know that the group has the guidance of Bishop Ted Bacani Jr.

The radio tie up that we had with the Foundation, enabled the people to listen to testimonies of God's miracles. With that, they realized that the Catholic religion is not just something theoretical but also concrete and relevant to our daily life.
