totally to the Lord Jesus Christ, as our Blessed Mother did in a humble way, by continuously reading the Bible and our catechism, celebrating the Sacraments, and surrendering your will to Him. Also, continue to practice the total love of God, chastity and obedience, to pray with joy through songs, and lift up to God each of our brothers and sisters in Christ, especially our loved ones. I hope that its members will deepen their faith even more. Thank you. |

When Bro. Mike was invited to speak during the CBCP open forum held in Tagaytay City last August 1993, I asked him if he knew the policy of CBCP that any Catholic organization, whatever it may be, must be under the guidance, direction and supervision of the bishop of that place. Solemnly, sincerely, very warmly and very humbly he answered, “Yes, bishop.” And then the other bishops also questioned him, and he answered them very well. He was also asked about the doctrinal part of the Foundation, its origin, its use of hankies, and other related topics. We were appeased by his answers. He knew what he was standing on. After hearing him explain to us his answers to our questions, I was very much satisfied because the biases and misinformation that I had concerning him and the Foundation were all clarified. After the session, when Bro. Mike was about to leave, I told him, “I'm welcoming the group to my diocese.” A month later, I said Holy Mass during their healing rally held in Laoag City. Brother Mike came with the group. There were so many people! I was very surprised! I was so happy. That was the first time it happened in Laoag City. I was personally touched! After the Holy Mass, I enjoyed listening to Bro. Mike as he talked about the importance of the Sacraments and the Holy Mass. I told my companion, a Monsignor, “We better listen to the servant-leader, what he says and what he is really spreading around.” I was happy that Bro. Mike also spoke of the importance of the relationship of the parishioners with their bishops and about tithing as an obligation of every Christian. Personally, I was really very impressed. The El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI Laoag City Chapter is growing. I even gave the disciples here an office, and they are doing well in evangelization—a very essential mission of the Church. Now, I'm very happy that we have a radio tie up. We have cancelled some of our programs to give way to its programs. It helps the Ilocanos a lot, especially the barrio folks. I congratulate Bro. Mike for this wonderful work. I pray that he will remain humble and continue this mission under the guidance of Bishop Ted Bacani Jr. Most
