The presence of Bro. Mike and his responses to so many questions that sought clarifications during the CBCP meeting last January 1993 were satisfactory. This changed the attitudes of almost all the bishops. In my case, all the questions I had in mind before were all asked and answered. Brother Mike admitted that because of the spread of El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI, he cannot closely supervise all of its chapters. So he appealed to the bishops to maintain its chapters with their spiritual concern and shepherding.

I'm very happy that there exists a group like this. While watching the delayed telecast of their fellowship, I am pleased for the examples of Bro. Mike are good (Bro. Mike, can I use them?). Brother Mike must really be God-sent. Many people are blessed and happy about him. He has the gift and guts, and he must use them properly. When I say Holy Mass with the followers of the Foundation, I feel envious of Bro. Mike because I cannot do what he does.

Just one word from him, the people are happy and awake.   But when I speak,  it seems that  the people are sleeping. I do not know what kind of charisma Bro. Mike has!  This is the decade of the laity, and the Church is happy that Bro. Mike is already there, doing the job every Christian is supposed to do as a response to the call of Christ.

At first, I was quite hesitant to accept the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI here in the vicariate. But after the CBCP meeting with Bro. Mike, almost all of us bishops who were in Tagaytay, somehow became willing to give this group a try. Many of our prejudices disappeared as we found him sincere and humble. As far as I remember, he is also open to accept our suggestions for the group's formation, that could also be provided by the local bishops. Within the vicariate, I have given the Foundation full freedom to conduct their prayer-meetings, and so far, I have not received any negative feedback from your group. Right now, the group functions best in trying to evangelize our people. Its preachers are trying to give some informative programs to our people. This community is a great help to the Catholic Church because of the obedience of its members to the authorities of the Church.
