Since then, I have been involved as much as I can with the community. I have been a priest for almost 15 years, and yet in many ways, El Shaddai has changed my life. I have become more humble and able to recognize the presence of Jesus Christ in the lives of others. I was in the Vatican to attend the Congress on Ecclesial Movements from May 27-29, 1998. After that wonderful gathering, I attended a prayer rally of the Foundation in Rome, with Bro. Mike giving the healing message. As I listened to him, it seemed that he kept looking at me. In an instance, he said: "Father, your miracle is coming... |

wait for it." Then, he told the crowd: "I want you to think of the most important thing in your life, and ask Yahweh El Shaddai to grant your request." I said to myself, "I'll trick this guy," so I thought of something really "high." But I believe it or not, with patience, I received that miracle! In my parish, the prayer-partners are active members of the Parish Pastoral Council, the music ministry, and the Ministers of the Eucharist. They even serve as lectors and |

sacristans. They also help in the maintenance of the Church premises. They have become instruments of God, who made an extra five hundred people to come to our parish to worship God every Sunday. Indeed, our parish is alive with the Spirit of El Shaddai! Rev. Fr. Bernard Nolan Spiritual Director, El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI Brisbane Archdiocese, Hervey Bay City, Queensland, Australia It is my pleasure to write this letter about El Shaddai in our parish. I am referring to a group that meets weekly in our local area to pray and to celebrate the faith in the Eucharist once a month. It is about a very united community with great desires for integration with the rest of the parochial community. Their musical skills and availability of time made them responsible for the musical animation of the Dominican Eucharist with children, which is a truly communitarian celebration. Collectively, and with unique punctuality, they respond to invitations for inter-cultural celebrations which we organize as part of our activities for the integration of immigrants. Individually or in group, they engage themselves in visiting peoples and helping the needy, giving testimonies of their commitment to the love of God in the best style of evangelism. On a social level, we have come to an agreement that, as workers, they are very well recognized; and on such basis they can elevate notably their self-esteem. In the name of this parish, I ought to thank their presence with us, with the desire that they would feel treated with total brotherhood and equality together with the Filipino priests who, with total act of service, would guide them in this process of their personal history. We know that the Holy Spirit will follow them, giving them the motivation to walk this path. Rev. Fr. Francisco Puertolas Bandres Parochial Vicar, Santa Maria Parish, Majadahonda, Madrid, Spain Head, "Entre Culturas" Center for Integration Blessing and glory, wisdom and thanksgiving, honor and power be to God forever and ever! I am the Spiritual Director of the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI Masai Chapter, and the celebrant for the regular Mass and Healing Rallies of the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI Singapore Chapter. God has been bringing bountiful blessings to His people in Masai and Singapore through the power of the Holy Spirit. Indeed, this God of mercy, Who came to save sinners, is with us through His healing power in the Sacraments and in His Divine Word that gives us new life. Its preachers who have been assigned to our chapter have brought us light to make Jesus the Way, the Truth and the Life of everybody. The Holy Spirit has manifested His presence to us through all the gifts and miracles we have received from Him. In praise and thanksgiving, I bless my God Who is alive, and Who lives with His people through the power of the children of El Shaddai. I pledge my support and my ministry to El Shaddai whenever and wherever I am needed. May God bless you all! Rev.
