It was a great joy to join twelve thousand and four hundred participants inside the Hong Kong Coliseum, while a thousand and one hundred more gathered outside the building last November 27, 1993. The El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI is to be congratulated for its very successful Mass and Healing Rally. God be praise for the huge crowd that gathered in this commercially-oriented territory to praise and worship Him. This is a clear manifestation of God's power. I had the pleasure of concelebrating the Holy Mass with Bishop Ted Bacani, Auxiliary Bishop of Manila. It was certainly a great act of worship and a display of true Christian fellowship. Meeting Bro. Mike Z. Velarde and the other workers of the Foundation at the VIP lounge after the rally gave me a great sense of new beginning of true solidarity in Christ, to which I believe God is calling us all. May God continue to bless all your endeavors in the Name of Jesus Christ. May He give to your numerous gatherings His blessings for growth and maturity in the Holy Spirit.  And may His love radiate to one and all, as we progress together under His divine protection on the pilgrimage of Eternal Life for which we are called in His Service.

At the start, the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI members and followers gathered at a Filipino Hall near downtown Los Angeles, but the place was too small for them. So, some prayer-partners came to see me to talk about the possibility of holding their prayer-meetings at St. Kevin's Church. They briefed me as to what the Foundation is all about, and this persuaded me to agree to their request. Since then, they have grown too large in number for our parish hall, so now their prayer-rallies and fellowships are held inside the church. They have gone on to form other chapters, near and far, and on the occasion of their 6th anniversary, they held the celebration at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

God has blessed us during the past years that the Foundation has been holding its regular fellowships here at St. Kevin's Church. We see people coming to its celebrations filled with the joy of the Lord Jesus Christ which easily infects the people whom they come in contact with. We have been able to purchase two additional pieces of property, and now St. Kevin's Church owns an entire block. There has been an increase in our church collections, which made possible the purchase of this new property. In addition to our original St. Kevin's choir, we now have four new choirs who sing at the Masses, and novenas in honor of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. We also have an increase in the number of lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, and members of other parish groups, especially, the Home Cenacles of Prayer. Truly, God has blessed us here at St. Kevin's Parish in so many ways. For this, we praise and thank El Shaddai—The God Who Is More Than Enough!
