I'm very much into creating my own designs. So I actually modeled this outfit after Arwen's Chase Outfit.
I used Simplicity 9891 view C with the yoke. I added lacing on the front in a fine stretchy silver cord. This dress, by the way, is made of a lovely dark green stretch velvet, and was wonderful to work with. On the collar, I used fabric paint to recreate lovely art nouveau designs. The under sleeves are made of a white cotton crinkle fabric (the type they use for bohemian skirts). The lower sleeves are petal shaped and open at the elbow. At the bottom of the dress are splits on the seams, which gives the dress this wonderful full look to it. I also made a crown but it is not pictured here. This is one of my favorites, no doubt.
