It's a pleasure to acknowledge the suggestions and assistance of the following people to improve the structure and content of this web site.
Thanks to Thomas Brδuninger University of Konstanz, Germany for use of his IOP program for determining power indices for voting games. With the help of the IOP program I was able to put the "game theory" aspects of the Electoral College reform issue into proper context. My appreciation goes to Donnadaggett@cs.com for inspiring the creation of the "GET INVOLVED" section. My hope is that every visitor to the web site will really do some of the things suggested to promote Electoral College reform, and recommend such actions to others. Special thanks also goes to Alan at advhome@attbi.com for suggesting the use of a dynamic map to illustrate the differences in voter influence from state to state. His suggestion led to the creation of the "INEQUALITY MAPS" section that illustrates the inequalities in voter power to influence presidential elections from state to state. Alan also inspired "The BIG Question" cartoon. Thanks to Devon Williams for including Electoral College Reform as a defining issue with which to evaluate future presidential candidates in his website at http://www.votewithavengeance.com/ The thoughts and ideas are theirs; any deficiencies in the implementation are due to the limited web skills of the author. |
