During the months of April and May, 1997, I got involved in something called the Site Fights. This is a friendly competition between websites, with the emphasis being on having fun and making new friends. I made it all the way to the Webmaster's Warzone which is the semi-final, having been awards the Knights of the Ring Championship. During the Site Fights my team , Charlotte's Knights of the Ring, and I won awards which I have placed on this page, all in one place.

 June 1, 1997 It took me a couple of attempts, But I finally won the Knights of the Ring Championship! |
 There is something in the Site Fights that is very important and that is "Spirit". This can be shown by posting Cheers, both on your page and also in "SHOUT IT OUT" It is shown by passing the Spirit Stick among your fellow competitors. It is an intangible "something" that the Knights had a lot of. During my time in the Fights, The Knights won this award five times! |
 Even though I am lousy at poetry and was never a Cheer Leader (There is no such thing in England, where I grew up) And even though I am really too modest to go around yelling My Site's the Best - VOTE FOR ME!! I actually won DLoudest Cheer Award twice!! I suppose all that "spirit" was catching! |

 Lady Char, the esteemed Team Leader of the Knights, is one of the best people I know at instilling "Team Spirit" She did it by sending things like this postcard if you won an award. |

 Sarina Blackmoon, from Blackmoon Rising was an undefeated Champion in the DMan Dome That means her site won three weeks in a row and retired undefeated. She presented all of the Knights with this great award |
 I won this wonderful Gallantry Award early on in the Site Fights, when I won my Joust and progressed to the Tournaments. |
