Plat |
A general term for a flat
area. The term plat was used to describe the flat area for a horse
whim and also the floor that a Cylinders bed stone stood
on (Cylinder plat). Plats also included areas excavated above or below
ground to store ore or deads and the flat surfaces cut into hillside for
building foundations. |
