Azurite | Cu3(CO3)2(OH)2 a basic copper
carbonate formed by the corrosive action of air and water on other Copper
minerals. It is similar to the green tarnish that forms on pure copper.
Azurite in addition to being a copper ore is used as a gemstone and as a pigment. It is closely related to the green mineral malachite. Features
