Mitochondria in other living things by stimulating them to create
excess ATP and ADP, effectively causing the target to burst into
flames. With his ability to control Mitochondria, he can
subconsciously heat up certain bio-computers to use them to his
advantage. |
| Personality: Aeriik
is a naive, idealistic young man from Paragon High, who repeatedly
upsets his teachers by not paying attention and his fellow
students by answering difficult questions for them. He was part of
the "outcast" group of students, pleasing them by using
his powers for mischief and vandalism. After over hearing his
"friends" calling him a freak, he dropped out of Paragon
High - much to the shigrin of his foster parents - and scored 100%
on his G.E.D.. Wanting to start anew, he enrolled in Paragon
University and is currently pursuing a double major in Biology and
Bio-chemistry, thanks to the endless amount of funds he can use,
courtesy of playing the PCSE (Paragon City Stock Exchange). |

| Why That Name?: Adam
believed that a "super name" only suits a "super
hero", and does not believe himself to be that. Erik was the
name of one of his favorite fiction characters, and Adam decided
to spruce it up a bit. |
History:
Adam was a normal kid until he was eight years old, when he was
told that he was diseased with Supertollary Syndrome, which would
eventually paralyze and kill him. Being but a child, he was told
to take two pills a day, every day, in order to control his
condition. During middle school, he fell further and further into
depression, and one day, out of rage, flushed his pills down the
toilet. His parents called for hours on end to get replacements,
and Adam got sicker and sicker. In the middle of the night, Adam
woke up to the smoke alarms going off and walked to his parent's
room. Both were burned beyond recognition, and a fire had started
from the flames that had been given off. Adam ran out of the
house, and noticed that not only had his parents been burned, but
that the dog and goldfish were also charred. He has lived in
foster homes ever since, constantly studying his power with the
help of his father's bio-circuit laptop, the only possesion that
hadn't been damaged.
Appearance: Not quite the normal superhero costume, Aeriik is
usually wearing black khakis, sandals, and a silk shirt. He has an
over-confidence to his demeanor, and grins evilly. Sometimes he
will be outfitted in a black leather jacket, and he always wears
dark sunglasses, to cover the appearance of his silver eyes, a
side-effect of his mechanically-enginneered DNA. Despite his evil
exterior, Aeriik is a kind-hearted person, who always roots for
the underdog, and always helps the person in need. |
