Personality: Blaze is a reckless hot-head. His anger is constant, and he finds it hard to relax. His temper is short, and his thoughts are constantly plagued by the spectres of his parents, flashbacks to his kidnapping one year ago. John has no friends so far, and finds it hard to socialise due to his temper and little experience with others. He is new in Paragon, and even his team-mates know little about the events which haunt him and drive him to revenge. He cares little for what state villains are in after he's through with them, and he would kill those who attack him if the law did not permit him...or the assembly did not stop him.

History: John Evans was the son of top British Diplomat, Dominic Evans. He and Jack's mother, Vanessa, travelled the world with their son. They settled Peace-conferences in China, Russia and Ireland. They were happy in their life, and loved each other and their son very much. Due to this constant change of scenery however, John grew up without friends. He found it hard to make new-ones in their new surroundings, and gave up after his 10th birthday. But even this did not sadden him, as he had his loving family and by his 13th birthday he'd found out how the girls in europe were attracted to a man who could speak
french...
It was during a conference in Germany, where Dominic Evans had almost convinced Germany's secretary of defense to allow super-human UN teams to search germany for the fifth-column, when the
Evanses' lives were snuffed out. Members of the 5th Column kidnapped the family, and blackmailed the UN with their lives. It was 4 months later when the Dawn Patrol found the column's secret base, and by that time many horrible things had happened. John Evans had been experimented on by the terrorist's scientists, eager to test the adolescent genome. John Evans was rescued... but Vanessa and Jack Evans had been executed 2 day's before the patrol's arrival.
John was scarred by the sight of his parents corpses. As he was led off by the German Rescue troops, he vowed to have his revenge on the column... to bring them all to justice. The Medics who checked him out afterwards noted his
body-chemisty had changed... he was almost leeching the energy out of the air, and his body used proteins amazingly quickly. His strength had grown as well, and the power of flight became his. John was placed in a hospital, where he researched his kidnappers
organisation. They were led by someone named Requiem... in Paragon City. He rang his cousin, the scientist George Evans. George lived in Paragon, and was the only remaining family John had. George agreed to become John's legal guardian, and John moved to Paragon. He took the name Blaze after he discovered he could absorb enough energy to turn into a semi-energy being... literally blazing into action. Here in Paragon City, He began his quest for Justice... fuelled by hate and anger.
