This page is dedicated to make positive and strengthen your spirit, also to  become one with yourself and one with the earth. A spell is a way of focusing energy to make a change,
 an old form of magic. It is a way in which one uses energy to create a desired result. It's magic in the form of a prayer. The best spells are ones that you create yourself (or with Spirit), or ones that are changed to suit your needs by an experienced caster. 
This means that not all spells are going to work the same for everybody. One must have complete control and self discipline over oneself to be able to make a spell work.  
WARNING: With negative or self glorifying spells remember the law of 3 or what goes around comes back to you and Selfishness is the enemy of everyone; it breeds chaos. 
My personal practice is with Voodoo and have practiced this art for many years.  I practice alone, therefore I will not share with you my personal spell's and practices!

LOVE POWDER:
To make a potent love powder, place some plain talc powder in a small bowl and leave in the moonlight before a Full Moon.  The next night, add 7 drops each of Ylang Ylang and geranium oil, and 3 drops of patchouli oil.  Again, leave in the moonlight. On the third night add one more drop of each essence, concentrating on the Moon-drenched powder. Visualize it glowing with the power to bewitch any who come into contact with it. Place the powder in tinfoil to keep it fresh, and wear or scatter a little whenever you desire to attract love.

TRADITIONAL OAK HEALING SPELL
For aches and pains take a handful of oak leaves and a piece of red carnelian and sew them into a muslin bag. Rub it over the affected parts of your body, then go at dawn to an oak tree and place the muslin bag into a hollow on the east side of the tree, saying:
Oaken tree, oaken tree,  Take these pains from me.   Stop the hole with oak bark and walk away without looking back.

SAFE TRAVEL SPELL
Keep yourself and loved ones safe while you travel by casting a Safe-Travel Spell. To start, take a white feather, some white embroidery floss, and a silver charm shaped like a wheel. Use the floss to fasten the wheel charm to the quill end of the feather. Tie off the floss with a loop so that you can hang or wear the feather. As you work, say: “Hermes, wing-footed messenger of fair Olympus, see us safely to our destination.” Hang the feather in your vehicle, or wear it whenever you travel in an airplane or in someone else’s vehicle.

PEACE WITH CO WORKERS SPELL
Because we spend so much time at work in close contact with so many different people, many of our most difficult relationships are with coworkers. Here is a pleasant way to help bring calm understanding to this environment. First, find a small bowl and fill it with a rose quartz crystal, an amethyst crystal, and bits of purple and blue silk or cotton cloth. Charge the container and its contents with a quick prayer by saying: “Through color and crystal I charge you, with calm and clarity and peace. So mote it be.” Place the bowl on your desk. If coworkers want to touch it, let them.

WALNUT CHARMS FOR PROSPERITY
For a prosperity spell, gather nine walnuts, nine old silver “Mercury” dimes (these have no copper in them and can be purchased at a coin store), nine whole cloves, nine crumbled cinnamon sticks, and some mustard seeds and bay laurel leaves. To start, carefully open the walnuts and clean out the shells. In each half shell, place one whole clove, some crumbled cinnamon stick and bay laurel, eighteen mustard seeds, and one dime. During a Full Moon, let moonlight shine on the contents in their shells, and feel the energy entering the coins and herbs. After meditating on this, take Super Glue and seal the two halves of each walnut together, taking care not to spill the contents. Paint the walnuts with gold metallic paint and leave on your altar. Take a walnut with you when you need a charge of prosperity

SPELL FOR MENTAL INSPIRATION
To increase your general feelings of inspiration, during a waxing Moon anoint a yellow candle with vanilla oil and roll it in a few teaspoons of thyme. Light the candle while chanting:  "Muses hear my call, inspire and enchant me. When at last I am infused with new ideas, may I have a fresh perspective."  Let the candle burn down completely.

HERBAL CLEANSING SPELL
Aromatic herbs do more than smell good. Most of them can be used to disinfect and clean, both physically and psychically. Take a handful of rosemary, peppermint, or lavender leaves, and add them to some boiling water. Remove the water from the heat, and let it steep for ten minutes. Strain, and use while hot to wash ceramic, tile, and walls. Pour the cooled leftovers into a spray bottle for quick cleanups.

OAK SPELL
The oak tree was used as a life saving food source for early settlers who ate the acorns. As such, the oak symbolizes long life and strength. If you catch a falling oak leaf, you won’t catch a cold in the winter. Carry an acorn in your pocket wherever you go to guard against illness and pain. Keep warm and healthy in the winter by burning oak wood in your hearth.

SAFE TRAVEL SPELL
To protect yourself during holiday travels, collect a white votive candle, a pinch each of dried basil, lilac, and sage, and any combination of tiger’s-eye, moonstone, amethyst, malachite, or turquoise. Carve the protection symbol of your choice into the candle, while visualizing a safe journey. Place the candle in a heatproof container, and sprinkle the herbs around the candle. Place the stones on the outside of the container. Light the candle and chant:  "Great spirit, keep me safe by land or sky or sea. Safe journey, safe return. So mote it be. "
Allow the candle to burn completely, and then carry the stones with you when you travel.

2 MONTHS TILL SPRING SPELL
To overcome seasonal affective disorder, try this simple spell. Turn on all the lights in your home. In your favorite room, light at least seven candles. Burn incense with a spring aroma, such as hyacinth or lavender, then relax and meditate. Envision a spring garden with buds bursting through the earth. Speak the following in a soft chant: “I am the Sun; the Sun is within me. My joy will increase, by my will mote it be.” Repeat at least three times. When you are finished, fix yourself a cup of herbal tea and begin planning a garden. Picture your home as it will be when the plants are established.

MOTIVATION SPELL
Use this spell when you know what you need to do, but need a dose of motivation. To start, gather a tourmaline stone for initiative, an oak leaf for potency, and ginger tea for energy. Place the stone in the place of fire on your altar. Drink the tea. Place the oak leaf in the place of earth on your altar. With one hand on the oak leaf and one on the tourmaline, say:  "Tourmaline, you vibrate with power of the leaf and of the flower. Your motivation is what I need, send your finishing power to me."

RID YOURSELF OF PAIN:
Take two chairs, and sit them facing one another. Choose the more comfortable of the two chairs, and sit down in it. Calm yourself. Begin to visualize your pain in the other chair. Visualize it in vivid, excruciating detail, spend some time on this--at least 10-15 minutes. When you have finished with your visualization, it is ok to get up. You should begin to feel your pain dissipate. After 2 or 3 hours, it is ok to move the chairs, your pain should be completely gone.

ALL-PURPOSE CANDLE SPELL: (Refer to my CANDLE MAGICK Page)
This is a quick, uncomplicated ritual designed to be used for all positive purposes. You'll need one candle of the appropriate color, one holder, and matches.  When you're ready to begin, hold the candle between the palms of your hands. Breathe deeply. Visualize your goal. Push personal, programmed power into the candle between your hands.  Feel the energy streaming into it. Say appropriate words if you wish simply stating what you need to occur. Place the candle in its holder. Strike a match above the candle and draw down the flame toward the candle. Light the wick.  Put the still-flaming match into a heat-proof container. Hold your hands around the candle's flame. Feel the energy. Visualize strongly. Leave the area. Let the candle do its work.

MOON BREW:
Set a silver container filled with water out on the night of the full moon just as it rises (the moon).  Allow the water to soak up lunar rays all night, then just before dawn, rise and retrieve the water. Place the water in an earthen jug and cork tightly. Use this brew to anoint money to increase wealth. Touch it to your brow to promote psychic awareness.  Or place it in the bath prior to lunar rituals to become attuned with the spiritual planes.

TO BREAK A SPELL AGAINST YOU:  (Refer to my CANDLE MAGICK Page)
If you believe a spell has been cast against you, place a large Black candle in a cauldron (or a Large Black Bowl). The candle must be tall enough to extend a few inches above the cauldrons rim. Affix the candle to the bottom of the cauldron with warmed beeswax or the drippings of another black candle so that the candle will not tip over. Fill the cauldron to the rim with fresh water, without wetting the candle's wick. An inch or two of the candle should remain above the water. Deep breathe, meditate, clear you mind, and light the candle. Visualize the suspected spell's power as residing within the candle's flame. Sit in quiet contemplation of the candle and visualize the power flowing and growing with the candle's flame (yes, the power against you). As the candle burns down, its flame will eventually sputter and go out as it contacts the water. As soon as the flame has been extinguished by the water. the spell will be dispersed. Break your visualization of the spell's power: see it explode into dust, becoming impotent. Pour the water into a hole in the ground, a lake or stream. Bury the candle. It is done.

MODERN HEALING SPELL:
To help speed recovery from an illness. Write the name of the person needing to be healed. Write the name   upon a human shaped candle ( make sure its shaped in the correct gender).  Visualize healing energy in the  form of a white light flowing from your hands to the candle while anointing the candle with myrrh or mint oil and  saying these words: " In the divine name of the God that breathes life into us all  I consecrate and charge this  candle as a magical tool for healing. Place the candle above the photo of the person in need. Light the candle. 
As the candle burns down concentrate on the person in the photo.  Will him or her to become well again and  chant the following: " Magic mend and candle burn.  Sickness end and good health return. Continue concentrating on the person as the candle burns out. 

SAFE HOME SPELL:    (Refer to My TREE MAGICK Page)
Take four iron nails, charge them, then hammer them into the four corners of the house. Or you can charge three nails and hammer them into a window to form a triangle. The house is then "nailed shut" against harm.
To reinforce this measure, make up a sachet to hang over the front door containing rosemary, juniper, caraway seeds, elder and lots of garlic. Use a protection oil to draw a pentacle over the front door. 
Whenever you leave the house, visualize a protective white barrier around it.

SAFETY FOR TRAVEL SPELL
For safety during travel today, carry some comfrey with you. It is said that placing some in suitcases will prevent your bags from being stolen or lost during travel. Before going out for the day, charge a bit of comfrey to take with you. As you chant, see the protective energies of the plant surround you, and say: "Spirits of this plant, I pray.   Keep me safe throughout this day.   Bring me safety and security, please.  Allow me to travel where I will with ease."  Place the comfrey in your purse or pocket. You might want to leave some in your car to protect it both on the road and in the parking lot.

A WISHING POD SPELL:
You will need to gather:  A seed pod from any tree, 1 piece of paper, pictures or drawings to represent your wish.  To make your dreams come true, take your seed pod or eggshell and on you piece of paper write down what your wish or dream is.  decorate it with the pictures of your wish.  Make sure to put your intention behind what you want by making it as real as possible.  Place the paper in the pod and bury it in a young pot plant or a new tree.  Now let the Gods and Goddesses take over.

TO ADD ZEST to a LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIP: (Refer to my OIL MAGICK Page)
Working alone light five spice-scented candles, surrounding yourself in a circle of fragrant light. Pour grape seed oil into a small bowl, saying: “Our foundation is a sure vessel, but it can carry more spice.” Add seven drops of sandalwood oil, saying: “Sensual scent of ancient sanders, bless our union.” Add three drops of orange oil, saying: “Newlywed playfulness, bless this union;” add three drops of geranium oil, saying: “Banal troubles flee, let our love be free.” Pass the bowl over each candle flame, mentally enlivening the love-balm with vibrant fire-qualities as you go. When you are both ready for magic, light all of the candles, lay your lover on the bed and massage with the oil, picturing as you do so what exactly you wish from the relationship. Now work your will on your pliant partner.

HERBAL WITCHES CLEANSING BOTTLE:
To make an herbal cleansing bottle, pour a layer of clean sand into a large clear bottle. Add layers of dried herbs, one at a time: first rosemary; then lemon peel, sage, cedar, black peppercorns, lavender, dill, bay leaf, and rowan. When the bottle is full, focus cleansing protective energy into the herbs and sand, and see a golden light radiating from the bottle. Visualize the herbs driving away negative influences. Cork and seal the bottle with white wax. Using a permanent marker, draw the Algiz rune on one side of the bottle, and on the other side draw a pentagram. Set the bottle near your front or back door, and every six months, uncap, pour herbs out into the woods or your compost heap, and thoroughly wash and dry the bottle before filling it with a new round of herbs.

SELF ENERGIZING SPELL: (Refer to my HERBAL MAGICK Page)
This spell requires direct sunlight, either outdoors, or indoors at a south facing window. Make yourself a tea that includes solar herbs such as cinnamon, cloves, orange, or lemon. (You may use citrus juice if you don’t want something hot.) You will need some sort of solar stone, such as citrine or yellow tiger’s-eye. Hold the stone up to the sunlight in your dominant hand, and hold the drink in your other hand. Say: “Helios Apollo, Sun-God, Healer, strengthen me with your light.” Visualize the sunlight pouring into you, washing through you, especially your heart and solar plexus, and into both the drink and the stone. Drop the stone into the beverage, drink the beverage as quickly as is comfortable. Put the cup down and sit and soak up sunlight for as long as you can.

TO STOP SOMEONE COLD SPELL:
Write the person's name on a sheet of paper. I like to use a gel marker with gel marker paper so the words don't run. Fill a zip-loc baggie or lidded container with water. Put the paper in the container/baggie, seal it, and put it in the freezer. You can then add an appropriate chant or statement, such as: "(Name of person), I wish you well, But around me you will feel a chill. Take this hint, and leave me be, In other places, warmer you'll be". 
When the person is no longer in your life or a threat to you, take the baggie out of the freezer, and allow the water to melt. Pour the melted water onto the Earth as an offering, and either bury the paper or allow it to dry and burn it.

ENDING SHORT TERM DEPRESSION SPELL:
To alleviate the affects of short-term depression, light a yellow candle and meditate on how you feel right now. Give this feeling a name, such as “Bobo.” Then, light a green candle. Meditate on how you feel now that you’ve named the previous feeling. Give this new feeling a name, silly is good. After lighting a blue candle, meditate on how you feel now that you’ve named the previous feeling. Repeat the routine. Finally, light a red candle. Know that you have control over what you do with your emotions, just as you have control over choosing names for your emotions. Now you can allow yourself to be aware of what started the depression. For most people, something happened that initially caused anger and then caused fear.

EMPATHY SPELL: 
First, chant silently to yourself: “Me in thee, what do I see?” Then imagine yourself in the other person’s shoes, talking to you. Ask your new self these questions: “How do I feel? What do I want? Why do I want it? How can I get it? What do I fear? How do I see the other party in this conversation (your old self)? As friend? Potential ally? Obstacle? Enemy? A vague person? What am I seeing that the other party isn’t seeing?” Then return to your own skin and check your new understanding by asking some careful neutral questions, such as, “If I’m understanding correctly, this is what you want. True?” Once you understand the other party, you will quickly know whether agreement is possible and what it will take to achieve it.

SPELL to BRING FAIRIES to YOUR GARDEN: (Refer to my FAERY Page)
To bring fairies into your garden, plant rosemary or marigolds on the outer edges of your garden plot. Fairies like happy surroundings, so only work in the garden when you are feeling joyful or calm.

LEMON CLEANSING RITUAL:  (Refer to my CRYSTALS SECTION)
On the night before you begin your new regime, bring sixteen ounces of pure bottled water to just below boiling in a pan. Add two tablespoons of honey and dissolve it completely, then remove the water from the heat and add the juice of two lemons and one mint teabag. Cool the brew, remove the teabag, and pour everything into a glass jar into which you have placed a thoroughly scrubbed clear quartz crystal. Set in the sunlight for two hours to absorb the healing rays of the light, then remove the crystal and drink while focusing on strengthening your willpower and your desire to change and better yourself. Know that you truly love yourself in order to make this effort.

THRESHOLD PROTECTION SPELL:
A piece of chalk is all you need to keep evil influences from entering your home. Start by drawing loops, spirals, or wavy lines on the top step, the threshold, and the exterior faces of the doors to your house. The color and exact nature of the pattern are not important, but it is critical that the design be made of a single line. In other words, the drawing must not contain any spaces, gaps, or loose ends. If negative energy approaches your home, it will be trapped and held in the maze.

FREEZING NEGATIVITY SPELL:
To stop the negative actions of a misguided practitioner of magic, write his or her name on a piece of paper. Place the paper in a jar, and fill it with water. Place the jar in your freezer; as the water freezes, so will the ill actions of the negative practitioner.

CHILDREN'S NIGHTMARE BANISHING SPELL (Refer to my HERBAL MAGICK Page)
Spell Contents: *child's choice of toy to empower *6 blue & white candles with gold trim *sage stick, to cleanse *anise, to protect extras for bedtime: *cranberry juice *cedar oil Spell: Since children and long rituals don't seem to mix, a simple circle casting should be sufficient. Have them help you imagine the protecting light as you cast the circle. Use your own parenting instincts to determine how much ritual your child can deal with. 1. Light candles with child (if they're old enough, let them light the candles with a long match) 2. Light sage and anise to cleanse the toy. We said, "Anise & sage please help. Clear this toy and make it pure. These awful nightmares we must purge/cure." 3. Have the child hold the toy in the air and say something to the effect of, "Lady, see this tool that is pure and prepared to help in our magic. Bless it now to become an implement of nightmare banishing." Now is a good time to talk about nightmares or simply close the circle if you wish. At bedtime, we throw in these extras to insure a good night's sleep: *Put the child to bed and give them a little cranberry juice. As they drink the juice, say, "Past the gums and through the lips, peaceful sleep is in each sip" *Anoint the four corners of the child's bed with cedar oil, saying, "Fears of things that bump and fright, you're not welcome here tonight. As my child dreams in sleep, only good thoughts s/he will keep."

THE BOTTLE SPELL: (Refer to my HERBAL MAGICK Page)
Used to neutralize the power of those who intend to do you physical harm, or hurt your reputation, or in any way pose a threat to your security. You Will need:  4 tbsp Frankincense or Myrrh 4 tbsp Black powdered Iron 4 tbsp Sea Salt 4 tbsp Orris-root Powder (or oak moss) 1 white candle 1 bottle with a cork or lid Mortar and pestle Parchment Paper Black Ink or black ballpoint pen Black thread.  Mix the sea salt, orris-root powder, and the iron in a bowl. Then cut a piece of parchment to fit inside your bottle and write on it with black ink:  "I neutralize the power of (name of adversary) to do me any harm. I ask that this be correct and for the good of all.  So mote it be!  Roll up the parchment, tie it with a black thread to bind it, and place it in the bottle. Fill the bottle with the dry ingredients. Then take the white candle and while turning the bottle counterclockwise, drip the wax over the cork to seal it. Last, secretly bury the bottle in a place where it will not be disturbed and no animals or people will dig it up. This spell is like a genie in a bottle. It should never be unleashed or the power of the spell is lost.

LIGHTNING SPELL: 
When a thunderstorm is raging, fix your mind on what you truly and sincerely wish for and watch the lightning each time it flares. Concentrate more and more intensely—with a chant if you can—then just as a particularly brilliant or close lightning bolt splits the sky, send your wish forth!

GETTING RID OF A COLD:
To help get rid of a cold/virus, start by bringing some water to a boil. Add fenugreek seeds to the water while chanting:  "Seeds of fortune, seeds of change, restore my body."  Continue to boil the water and seeds for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.  Strain the water and sip the tea. You should not add sugar or honey to the tea, but lemon is fine.

LOVE POUCH SPELL:
To make a pouch that beckons a perfect lover, begin by facing east. Moving clockwise, cast a magic circle and call upon the powers of the four directions—in order, east, south, west, north—as you turn. Now, place four white candles around the circle, one at each of the four directions, and position a red candle in front of you behind a chalice or crystal wine glass, light all the candles. Have ready a piece of plain white paper, and write down all the qualities you want in a potential lover. Prepare and ignite an incense using the herbs cardamom and clove. Burn the paper containing your lover’s qualities along with the incense, until all turns to ashes. Put the ashes in a red silk pouch, to be worn around your neck.

LOVE (bath) SPELL:  (Refer to my CANDLE MAGICK Page)
Start this spell on a Friday evening at seven o’clock by adorning your bathroom with one red rose in a water-filled vase and seven pale green candles. Run the bath water, and honor Venus by adding to it one cup of sweet amber honey, one cup of pink wine, a splash of rose-scented perfume, and several drops of myrtle and clover essential oils. Next, get undressed, light the candles, turn off the light, and enter the tub. Allow the warm delicious water to soothe your muscles and your spirit. Imagine that your lover finds you beautiful, impossible to resist, and ready to submit to your charms. When the visualization is complete, drain the water from the tub and stand under a cool shower. This will further magnetize your body, and draw your lover to you.

TO MAKE SOMEONE LEAVE YOU ALONE: (Refer to my HERBAL MAGICK Page)
This spell must be performed during a waning moon (look at my moon section).  On a piece of parchment paper, write the name and birth date of the person (a small picture of them too, will help) you are wishing "away".  Now fill an air-tight container (Tupperware or baby food jar) with water.  Add a pinch of one or more of these magical herbs:  ash tree leaves, clover, lovage, lilac, garlic clove.  Take the paper with the name on it and fold it three (3) times.  Tie a black string or thread around it and drop it in the water/jar.  Seal the container up (a lid) and place it in a safe spot in your freezer.  Once the person has left you alone or no longer poses a problem to you, take the container outside and empty it to the earth.  Keep the container instead of leaving it to Mother Earth!

SILENCING A GOSSIPER: 
Write the name and full birth date of your gossiping enemy on a piece of slippery elm bark. Wrap it in a piece of black cloth and say: (Name of person) BE NOW SILENT, LET YOUR BITTER TONGUE BE BROKEN, (Name of person) BE NOW SILENT, LET NO EVIL WORDS BE SPOKEN. SO MOTE IT BE!
Bury the cloth-covered bark in a forest or graveyard at night by the light of a pale waning moon as you visualize that person unable to speak whenever he or she attempts to spread malicious gossip about you.

BLEMISH CURE SPELL: 
To remove warts, pimples, blemishes and other like growths, a banishing ritual is often used. Take a small dried bean and rub it against the imperfections. Dig a hole in the ground and drop the bean into it, saying something like. "as this bean decays so my wart will go away (or pimple, etc.). This, like all banishing rituals, should be performed during the waning moon. Use a different bean for each blemish.

ANTI-FIRE HOUSE CHARM:  (Refer to My TREE MAGICK Page)
To protect your home from the ravages of a devastating fire, place some mistletoe in a blue drawstring bag, douse it thoroughly with cold, clear water, & then immediately hang it in the "heart" of the house - where you & your family spend most of your time. 
Or, light a piece of wood & burn to ash. Wet the ashes, let them dry, & hang in a blue drawstring bag. It is done.

TO EASE UNREQUITED LOVE: 
 To start, kneel before a blazing fire with a handful of dried Vervain leaves.  Toss the entire handful into the blaze at once along with the words: "Creature of fire, flames that roar, purge me of pain, let it torment me no more.  Consume the hurt, that my soul is set free, as I will, so mote it be!"  As the fragrance of the herb penetrates the air, breathe it in deeply and visualize your entire body filling with peace and calm.

TO IMPROVE YOUR HEALTH: (Refer to my HERBAL MAGICK Page)
Fold in a scrap of velvet cloth, these treasures; Leaves of tea, Flowers of Lavender, Ginger and salt, Clove and camphor; Tie them up to make a charm, with a scarlet thread, keep it beside your nightly bed; Breathe it on walking, everyday - you must be healed, and healed you must stay. 

A SPELL OF LEGEND:
Legend has it that a mixture of willow flowers and milk has powers to entrance any young prince on earth. None will be able to resist you and will be charmed by your beauty. Anoint face with the mixture daily for seven days. Marvel at the effect!

SPELL for INTERNAL WELL-BEING:  (Refer to my CANDLE MAGICK Page)
 Obtain a vial of water from a steadily flowing river and put aside.  Light two blue candles and place at the north and south points of a circle.  Light two white candles and place at the east and west points of the same circle.  Scatter freshly picked lavender and crushed leaves of an iceberg rose evenly around the perimeter of the circle and sit within it, facing the north point.  Cross arms loosely over the chest and focus your awareness on the breath entering your body and slowly spreading through it.  Return your focus slowly to your environment and extinguish the candles using the river water, kneeling before each as you do so, in the order north-west-east-south.

SACRED SPACE PURIFICATION SPELL:      (Refer to my OIL MAGICK Page)
To purify a sacred space, during the sixth hour after sunrise or the first or eighth hour after sunset consecrate an aromatherapy bowl or small cooking pot by passing it through the smoke of frankincense and sprinkling it with blessed water, saying: “I consecrate this container to aid in my Craft, that the spell I now weave will take hold and last.” Heat spring water in the bowl over a tea light or in the pot on a burner. When the water is hot, add the following herbs, speaking after each, star anise: “Let all negativity be deflected from this place”; one bay leaf: “As the scent of this leaf moves through this place, may purification enter into this space”; one teaspoon sage: “Through sage I now make this spell manifest, that with peace and protection this space will be blessed. For as I will, so mote it be!”

PROTECTING THE KITCHEN:
To protect the kitchen - the heart of the home - keep a mortar and pestle out on the kitchen counter. These are often used to grind herbs. You can either keep the one you use on the counter or, as I do, keep an unused on out specifically for this purpose.

HOUSE PURIFICATION SPELL: (Refer to my INCENSE Section)
Light some sage, cedar, and/or lavender incense in the northernmost room of your house. Carry the burning incense with you, moving clockwise from room to room, to banish negative energies from your environment. If you don't have any incense, use the noise from rattles, drums, or noisemakers to chase out the negative energies, or use a besom to sweep the house clean. These procedures are most effective after you have given your house a good cleaning, which itself can act as a spell if you do it with magical intentions. Dust and vacuum clockwise, visualize white light filling your living space, invoke the Elemental powers of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water as you use those elements in your cleaning: water in cleaning solutions, earth in the substance of the objects you clean, fire in warm water and sunlight, air from the vacuum cleaner and/or open windows.

LETTING GO OF FEAR, NEGATIVITY or ANGER:
Visualization type of spell!   Insert what relates to you (fear, anger, or negativity). 
Example: Fear leave my (Chakra areas are good to use) toes, my legs, my hips, my stomach, my heart my shoulders, my neck, my head, fear be gone! Do it as long as possible until physical sensation of fear, anger are gone!  It will get rid of fear, anger or negativity!  VISUALIZE and see it leaving out the top of your head!

HOUSE PROTECTION SPELL:
Sprinkle holy water (water, mixed with salt, blessed and consecrated during ritual) across all of the doorways and windowsills in your house. Alternatively, dip your right (projective) forefinger into the holy water and trace a banishing pentagram on the inside of the doors and windows, visualizing the pentagram glowing in bright blue light after you've traced it with your finger.

TO IMPROVE COMMUNICATION: (Refer to my CANDLE MAGICK Page)
In order to fight communication, light 2 white votive candles while thinking of your estranged friend or family member.  Imagine the person surrounded by a flame of protective light.  See yourself surrounded by another flame of protective light.  Then see the 2 flames move toward each other and become one flame with both of you inside of it.  Be still and breath slow for several minutes.  Do not attempt to talk to the other person, but listen carefully to see if the other person says anything.  Blow out the candles.  Know that you will be able to talk to each other about your relationship soon.

SCRYING SPELL: (Refer to my CRYSTALS SECTION)
Take a deep bowl/cauldron of water and place it in your ritual space. Place 3 black candles around you but not too close. Place these herbs in the water (it is best if you use very hot/boiling water in the cauldron for this) fennel, basil, clove, hibiscus, meadowsweet, orange and lavender and burnt parchment with wish/spell/request written on it.  Allow these herbs 5 minutes to "brew". Stir this if you wish. Strain any herbs still floating off the top but leave all others in the cauldron.  Light some incense heavy in Jasmine and try to get some of the smoke to touch the water by waving your hand over it. Place a clear quartz in the cauldron. Now light the candles and relax. Feel the relaxation begin from your toes and travel all the way up your body to the top of your head (crown Chakra). Take as long as you need to in order to fully relax. Now sit up and look into the cauldron, if images try to flood your mind, recognize them and put them to one side. Now gently allow your mind to open. If you had a question, make sure the ashes have been thoroughly mixed in the cauldron so you will now be open to the answer you seek. Try to let the images come without trying to understand them. If you have a dream diary, or large book of shadows, write the images in there.

ABUNDANCE:  (Refer to my CANDLE MAGICK Page)
Place some patchouli oil at the base of a green candle to bring abundance to any situation, be it love or creativity.  Let the candle burn during a ritual or any time when you are thinking heavily about this situation.

DISPEL NEGATIVE ENERGIES: (involves making a talisman)  
(Refer to my CRYSTALS SECTION)
Take a small clear crystal, an acorn, some rosemary and mandrake and a bit of green silk or cotton. It doesn't need to be a big piece. Cast your circle and creating a pouch from the herbs, bless them with each element saying  "While this dwells within, there will be protection without. Cleanse and charge this charm, element of against all who wish me ill!" Now hang this somewhere not too obviously, like hiding it in a corner or over a window. This will protect you until next Samhain when you should burn it in the sacred fire, crystal and all. If it is not too tainted, the fire will just cleanse the crystal and you'll be able to retrieve it from the ashes but I always recommend just getting a new one.

EARTH MOTHER CANDLE RITUAL: (Refer to MY CANDLE MAGICK Section)
Imbolic is a time of year when many people celebrate change and growth and bid farewell to things no longer needed.  For this spell, sweep a circle with a broom to symbolically remove the old to make room for the new.  Light a green candle and recite thrice the following incantation:  "Mother Earth, awaken from your silent winter rest. Let the springtime goddess of green magic manifest. Mother Earth, awaken now and hold us to your breast. We honor thee with love, for we are truly by thee blessed."

SPELL for PROTECTION: (Refer to my HERBAL MAGICK Page)
Make a sachet to wear around your neck. The color should be blue or purple but make it a color you can live with.  On the night of a full moon, blend these herbs together: amber, juniper, dill, Vervain, St. John's Wort and lavender, by crushing them together with a mortar and pestle. Leaving them in the vessel, hold them up to catch the light of the full moon and say: "Moon of night, in fullness shine bless this rite protection be mine".  Then without touching it fill your pouch and wear it whenever you feel threatened. It also works if you keep it in your pocket.

LOVE SPELL:     (Refer to My TREE MAGICK Page)
Find a stone or crystal that you feel very comfortable with. For 3 days and nights, keep it on your person and whenever you touch it, think into the stone "By the Lady and her mate, I wish to alter my fate". Once the three day period has passed, make sure you have on hand some broom, cedar, elder or hazel. Take a piece of silk or cotton and write on it or on a piece of paper sandwiched in-between the cloth and sewn together the spell you wish to perform.  Use the rock or crystal or grind up the herbs into a rough mixture while concentrating on the spell. Take that mixture and put it in the cloth and use a piece of silk thread or cotton thread to tie it closed keeping the stone out. Next, place the pouch where it will be most effective for the spell and take the crystal and cleanse it in salt water and sun so it may be used again. This is best done the three days of the full or new moon so as to get the full potential into your spell. The new moon at Samhain means any spells cast during this period will be especially effective. 

CHOOSING BETWEEN 2 LOVERS:  (Refer to my CRYSTALS SECTION)
If you are fortunate enough to have to choose between two lovers, during a Full Moon hold a lump of variegated quartz crystal while contemplating your dilemma. Consider the qualities of each party in turn and gaze into the crystal. Then lift the quartz skyward and say: “Isis bless me with accurate intuition.” Put the crystal in a black pouch and add several cardamom pods, saying: “Anubis guide me through the labyrinth of my subconscious.” Finally add a small white feather, first dedicating it: “Maat of balanced judgment, help me choose what is of most benefit to all.” Place the pouch under your pillow. You will dream the solution.

SPELL to STOP SLANDER: (Refer to my CANDLE MAGICK Page)
On Monday night of a waning moon , burn a black candle. While the candle is burning , repeat this verse 9 times  "Let these fools be silenced, May their babble be cancelled May peace be mine , now and evermore".  Do this for 7 nights.  I've used this to stop people spreading rumors about me , and it worked wonders.

GEMINI ENERGY SPELL:
You can use this magical Mercury powder by itself, or add the powder to other forms of magic—such as at the bottom of a candle or in a cauldron to encourage communications. To start, grind and mix the following ingredients with a mortar and pestle: dried white rose petals, silver glitter, blue powder, dried vervain, and dried orris root. With your finger or a pencil, draw the symbol of Mercury (refer to my Astrology section)  and the symbol of Gemini (Astrology section) in the powder. Hold your hands over the powder, asking that the mixture be instilled with the dynamic energies of Gemini. Store the powder in a plastic bag that contains a moonstone. To put to use, place a teaspoon of the Mercury powder in the palm of your hand and blow off your fingers as you ask the element of air to speed your request and return the necessary details to you as quickly as possible.

FOUR ELEMENTS SPELL: (Refer to my ELEMENTS Page)
The four elements play an important role in magic and spirituality. You can increase your success in both by studying the powers of fire, water, air and earth. Take a few moments to center yourself, then act out each of the four elements in turn.  Use whatever sounds, gestures and motions that make YOU think of that element. Sense the currents of energy flowing through you and feel how each element has its own unique signature.  Useful chant (or use your own), "Like a fire, leap and burn; like a river, whirl and turn; like a breeze, blow strong and sure; like a mountain, long endure."  End by thanking the elements for their help.  Be sure to perform this outside and use it either by yourself or with a group.

FIVE PENNIES SPELL:    (Refer to my OIL MAGICK Page)
Your front door functions as an ideal place for inviting energies of prosperity into your home. To do this, place five shiny pennies beneath your porch. This will encourage both money and love to enter your household. A bit of food under the porch will ensure that you will never know hunger too.

TO BIND A TROUBLE MAKER:  (cauldron MAGICK)
BEST TIME: Waning Moon.  Situate the cauldron between 2 black candles, with a third black candle opposite you on the far side of the altar. Burn a protection or binding incense. Have the names of your enemies written on a small piece of parchment. If the names are unknown, merely write all my enemies. Sprinkle basil and elder flowers into the cauldron. Say: " Bubble, bubble,  cauldron bubble, Burn the evil, destroy the trouble". Ignite the parchment from the central candle and drop into the cauldron. Take up the wand and stir the air above the cauldron while chanting: "Darkness ended, control is done. Light has come, My battles won. Take the ashes and herbs outside. Throw them up to the winds and the Moon.

SPELL for a BROKEN HEART:
Place dried rose buds (not open ones), rue, lavender, jasmine, mistletoe and lady's mantle into a red or purple silk or cotton pouch. Tie it with a matching ribbon and while passing it through the smoke of some love/aphrodisiac incense say: "pouch of mine lovers hearts entwine no more Heal my heart For we now part
goodbye. The pain I feel I need to heal be well"

POSITIVE ACTION SPELL:  (Refer to my CANDLE MAGICK Page)
Take a white candle and some anointing oil. Depending on the desired result, you should choose an oil which corresponds to this end.  At the time of the full moon, cast a circle or just shut yourself away from all distractions and with the moon shining on your working area (not possible, just visualize the moon while anointing the candle). Place the white candle on the altar with the oil. Cast the circle and then call the Goddess, anoint the candle. Engrave the candle with the spell itself. While you anoint the candle with the oil, speak these words: "Tonight the moon, tomorrow the sun. Let this power build till my will be done. Candle burn down to send my will. This spell be cast, for good, not ill."  And once you have anointed the candle, place it in a safe place to it can burn down completely, preferably in sight of the moon.

TO CURE a SICKNESS: 
Light a fire of oak wood, if possible. When much of the wood has been reduced to glowing pieces of charcoal, pick up one carefully with a pair of tongs or shovel & throw it immediately into a stream or pot of cold water. It will sizzle & pop. As it does visualize the disease leaving the body of the afflicted person. Repeat this operation three more times.

FEAR:
To free yourself from fear, write your fear on a strip of paper.  Attach a cord to it.  Tie this loosely to a favorite tree, and watch as the winds of change free the fear and blow it away from you.

PROTECTION SACHET: (Refer to my HERBAL MAGICK Page)
Have you tried a protection sachet? If not please try this one, the herbs to go in it: 2 parts Mallow and Rosemary, and 1 part Vervain.  In a square of RED cloth preferably Cotton or Silk. Make sure that all of the ingredients have been consecrated before you add them to your sachet. Keep this sachet on your person as close to the skin as possible or carry with you everywhere.

GROUNDING A SICKNESS OR PROBLEM:
Go to a place where you know the soil is rich and healthy.  Sit down and allow the illness or problem to be drawn into the dirt.  You many wish to plant a seed there so something positive will grow in it's place.  Walk away, and do not look back.

DIFFUSE SORROW SPELL:    (Refer to my OIL MAGICK Page)
To help diffuse personal sorrow and transform it into useful energy, mix your favorite incense with the yellow petals of St. John's Wort (or with the powdered contents of a capsule) in a small bag or pouch of lightweight cloth. Wear this close to your body, envisioning depression and sadness as a blue mist being drawn from your body and into the pouch. Once a day, burn the contents in a brazier as you chant:  "Sorrow flows out and away, dispersed in ether, transformed in flame.  Blended with incense, may it bring pleasure." Continue this spell for as long as you deem necessary.

SORROW:
Legend says that if you rinse yourself with thyme or marjoram in the spring, you will wash away your woes for the coming season.

SPELL for ISIS and NEPHTHYS: (Refer to MY GODDESS Section)
Take black crepe streamers, available for Halloween decorations, and reverently loop them together to form a rough human shape. Place this on a table or altar, and think on your own sorrows and those of others. Say these or similar words: “Osiris is dead, nothing remains in this world but his wrappings. My dead, my Osiris, the sorrows of my world, all that remains are the empty wrappings which tie my heart. What they once contained has gone on to another dimension, where they cannot be seen. May the sorrow they leave behind no longer bind my heart. May only the light of their lives remain to be remembered.” Burn the wrappings in the sink or in a heat-proof container. Watch the flames as they burn. When you at last look away, you will see only the afterimage of the light of the flames. Hold this in your heart.

APHRODISIAC SACHET: (Refer to my HERBAL MAGICK Page)
During a fool moon, place an herb mixture of verbena, lemon, serpent aria root and elder flowers on the center of a square of red felt.  Gather up the ends and tie them together with red wool yarn or cotton twine.  Place this powerful sachet under your pillow or wear it on a string around your neck.

SPELL FOR DEPRESSION:
To begin, as the Sun rises hold a golden ring up to the glow. Looking through the ring, visualize a stream of golden rays flowing in through your eyes, suffusing every cell in your brain and body, as you say, "I am filled with golden radiance or positive energy!" Rise on 9 mornings and watch the Sun come up 9 times. Overcast days do not count.  If this doesn't work?  Seek medical help or take ST. John's WORT which is an herbal remedy sold at millions of stores around the world.

CRYSTAL CHARGE SPELL: (Refer to my CRYSTALS SECTION)
This is an all-purpose spell for charging your magic crystals and stones. To start, collect the crystals and stones that you use in ritual or simply keep in your house because they have attracted you. Just before a Full Moon, cleanse them with salt water, then place on a windowsill where the light of the Full Moon can bathe them. A night or two after the Full Moon, place the crystals and stones in a circle on the floor as you cast a circle. Sit in the center of the circle and let the energy of the crystals and stones come into you. Softly chant: “Crystal vision, crystal sight, let me find my power this night.” You may want to come prepared with a question or issue you’d like to resolve. Clear you mind and let the answer flow in. When it feels appropriate, ground your energy and thank the crystals and stones for their help.

WART CURING SPELL:  (Refer to my CANDLE MAGICK Page)
Prick each wart with a pin blackened over the flame from a white candle and place three drops of blood (from the wart) on an onion or garlic.  Bury the onion (or garlic) at a crossroad when the moon is in a fire sign (refer to my Zodiac page).  As the onion decays, so will your wart.  *Garlic oil or cut bulb directly on a wart, I hear, works wonders too!

FAMILY PEACE:
Cut a lock of hair from the head of each person concerned (or fighting).  This should be cut during the waxing phase of the Moon (refer to my moon page).  Put the two locks of hair together and tie them with a red silk thread. The thread should be wound around the hair at least seven times before it is tied.  Wrap the tied hair in a small square of white silk and then bury it at a crossroads.  Walk away and never go back.

PROTECTION SPELL:  (Refer to my CRYSTALS SECTION)
Charge a small stone of Saturn correspondence to carry with you as a charm of protection—black tourmaline, Apache tears, or snowflake obsidian. Or find any dark colored stone in the earth that feels solid, stable, and strong to you. Find a quiet outdoor place and sprinkle a circle of salt on the ground, large enough for you to sit inside, and hold your chosen stone. Close your eyes; ground and center, drawing Earth energy within you. Visualize rings of energy swirling around the Saturn stone you hold, building and increasing to surround and emanate from you. Within the rings you are strong, solid, secure, and shielded from harm. In the future, whenever you feel the need for extra protection, hold your stone to assist you.

MONEY:  
Pick up some kelp at your local specialty store and wash your floors with it.  Or a money sachet may be made with lavender, saffron and a silver coin which is wrapped in a green cloth and bound in gold.  Visualize your burdens lifting as you make the sachet, and carry it with you always.  When balancing your funds, light a green candle and burn incense of prosperity, cinnamon, patchouli or sandalwood (refer to my Aromatherapy page) work well.

RID YOURSELF of BAD HABITS or NEGATIVE ENERGY:  (Refer to my OIL MAGICK Page)
Take a black candle which has been ritually cleansed and some anointing oil which has also been ritually blessed. Depending on the desired result, you should choose an oil which corresponds to this end. At the time of the new moon, or when it first begins to wane, cast a circle or create a sacred space. Place the black candle (preferable a taper) on the altar with the oil. Have no unblessed tools in this ritual. Cast the circle. Call the Goddess and her consort. Use a burin to engrave the candle with the spell you wish to cast. Now, anoint the candle using the oil. While you anoint the candle with the oil, speak these words out loud or silently "Tonight no moon, tomorrow the first one. Let this  be eroded till my will be done. Candle burn down to remove all ill. Let this spell be cast by the power of my will." And once you have anointed the candle, place it in a safe place to it can burn down completely.

SHED LIGHT ON A SITUATION:
Anoint one of your lamp bulbs with oil of manifestation (blessed thistle or cinquefoil work well).  Then turn the light on, allowing the fragrance of truth an reason fill your home and mind. 

BANISHING SPELL: (Refer to my HERBAL MAGICK Page)
This will work well as the negative energies of these people are still affecting you. To be performed on the waning moon.  Tools: cauldron, black or white candle, basil and garlic, paper and black ink pen, black cord. Cast the circle, invoke the God/Goddess, and state your purpose (i.e. I am here to banish the negativity I feel within me. Right now, the hurt that (name) has caused me is impacting my life, and I ask for the God and Goddess to assist me in banishing these negative influences and eliminating their destructiveness. Consecrate the cauldron by sprinkling with salt & water, and reciting "In the name of the Lord and Lady, I charge you to serve me within this circle. I clear you of all former influences and energies in order that you may be fit for the workings of the MAGICK herein."  Do the same with the candle. On a piece of paper, write the full name of the person, and the associated negative feelings that they cause in you. Roll up and tie with black string. Sprinkle with salt and water and recite: "Thou creature of paper, by paper made, by paper changed. Thou are not paper, but thou art negative influences caused to me. Take flight now, so mote it be."  Light the black candle. Burn the paper in the candle, visualizing all negative power over you vanishing in the flames and rising out of your world with the smoke. Sprinkle basil & garlic (for protection) over the flames and recite: "Blazing force of cleansing fire, help me in this rite. By air and earth, water and fire, So you be bound with this rite. Your power takes flight, sky and sea, cleanse me and keep harm from me. Cord go round, power be bound, your negativity will no longer come my way. From hence forth, your power over me be banished. So mote it be!"  Let the paper burn itself out while visualizing yourself healthy, whole and healed.  

SPELL FOR SAFETY: 
 When feeling unsafe, say the guardian angel prayer: Angel of Life, My guardian dear.
To whom sweet love, Commits me here.  Ever this day, Be at my side, To light and guard, To rule and guide.

A SIMPLE SALT RING OF PROTECTION:    (Refer to my OIL MAGICK Page)
Preparations Mix together 1 part salt to 3 parts water. The salt can be any variety, if you have an affinity to the ocean, use sea salt. Pure spring water is recommended, but tap water will do if that is all you have. Ritual Circle the area to be protected splashing the salt-water as you go around. Do this three times. While doing each circle, repeat three times, "Thrice around and thrice repeat, all evil does this ring defeat." See the shield come up as you finish the last circle. It is done. This ritual should be done after the area to be protected has been cleansed and purified in some fashion."

TELEVISION:
A television which has been turned off makes an excellent scrying instrument.  Simply stare at the blank screen as you might a crystal ball.  Allow your mind to be calm and see if any images form.  After seeing the vision, keep the TV off and read a good book.

RID YOURSELF OF A NASTY HABIT:      (Refer to My TREE MAGICK Page)
Try writing down what you want to clear away on paper.  Tear it up while pouring the energy of those feelings into the paper, then toss it in the fire or fireplace, allowing the purifying flames to begin their work.

A LOVE POTION LOTION:
During a waxing Moon, place one level cup of any kind of lotion into a clean eight-ounce jar, and add a teaspoon of vanilla extract, three drops jasmine oil, two teaspoons grated lemon peel, 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, and one or two drops of nutmeg or anise oil. Blend the lotion with your fingers while visualizing your magical goal. Rub your clean body with the lotion before you go out to find a new romance. As you rub in the lotion say: “I prepare myself to find romance. I seek my partner in eternal dance. Love and romance, where I may be, I seek to find and draw to me.” 

CRYSTAL SPELL: (Refer to my CRYSTALS SECTION)
To bring about something you truly desire, in the evening lay a crystal on some black cloth as you meditate on the powers of the ancient gods. Settle down in the near-darkness and fix your gaze on the crystal, willing power into it. Take your time, and eventually it will begin to glow, perhaps dimly or more brightly, with a white, green, or gray mist about it. Then pick up the crystal and rub it between your hands, drawing its power into your body. Then put down the crystal, your hands are likely to be glowing by now, wait thirteen breaths as you built the power even more and shape it to your desire, then throw the power forth with your hands. Afterwards, light a candle or turn on the lights, and wash both your hands and the crystal in cold water to remove any residual glow.

NEW YEAR'S SPELL:  (Refer to my CANDLE MAGICK Page)
To ensure that your life is blessed with good luck through the next 12 months, perform this simple spell at midnight on New Year's Eve.  First, open every door and window of your home to allow the spirit of the old year to depart. Go outside and light a green candle that has been anointed with a few drops of cinnamon, cypress, or lotus oil, and  without uttering a single word, reenter your house through the  backdoor. Walk through every room with the candle in your hand, go back outside through the front door and then in again by the back. Additionally, you may place a silver coin, a piece of coal and a piece of bread on a windowsill or porch at midnight on New Year's Eve and then bring them into the house after you rise from bed on New Year's morning. 

RING OF LOVE SPELL: (Refer to my ASTROLOGY Page)
You can attract the person you want to marry by wearing a love ring on the third finger of your left hand. To start, use your lover’s Sun sign to acquire the stone from this list: Aries, bloodstone; Taurus, sapphire; Gemini, agate; Cancer, emerald; Leo, onyx; Virgo, carnelian; Libra, Peridot; Scorpio, aquamarine; Sagittarius, topaz; Capricorn, ruby; Aquarius, garnet; Pisces, amethyst. Bring the stone to a jeweler and have it set into a gold band, then note the changes that occur in the relationship when you begin wearing it. If the stone changes the wearer into the kind of person who can attract and hold a love interest, then it will bring the relationship to you. If the band hurts or the stone falls out, the relationship will be difficult. If the ring fits perfectly and stays put, expect your lover to wind rings of love around you!

SPELL of the EVIL EYE:
A quick way to rid oneself of the "Evil Eye" spell. If you feel someone is wishing you bad luck, spit in their direction three times. If you do not know for sure who this person is, spit to the south three times.

PROTECT YOUR HOME SPELL: (Refer to my HERBAL MAGICK Page)
To cast a spell to protect your home, during the waxing Moon and during the third hour after sunset pick a few stems of any combination of the following herbs: dill, fennel, marjoram, mint, mustard, mullein, mustard, rosemary, rue (if you are not allergic), white heather, woodruff, and yarrow. Tie small bundles of these herbs together with red thread and place on an altar. Touch the bundles with a ritual knife, saying: “I conjure thee, protective herbs, on this day and in this hour of Mars, to be a protection and safeguard against all adversity and evil. Protect well this house and all who dwell within. As I will, so mote it be!” Hang one bundle in each room of your home.

SPELL of LADY LUCK: 
So that Lady Luck will bless you, on a night of a full moon, chant three times, "Lady of Luck, shine you light upon me. Let the light of your luck be mine. Let this come to pass in the light of the next full moon. Light a white candle to light the way for the Lady to find you.

TRICKSTER SPELL:  (Refer to my CANDLE MAGICK Page)
Cast your circle in a direction opposite to the normal one. Put your candles in upside down, unlit. The invocation is backwards too; read it in a funny voice: “Tricksters of the world, be gone! Today is a day of serious work, so stay far from all that I do, and teach me nothing of your ways. Depart now, amidst a hail of curses!” As you go through the day, wear one article of clothing backwards or inside-out in honor of the Trickster, and remain open to whatever lessons come.

A SPELL TO ENHANCE LISTENING:
Before meeting someone, cleanse your ears carefully and chant: “Release the need, let go desire; personal wants shall all be banned, save the need to understand.” Resolve that your only task is truly to understand what the other party wants and feels. During the conversation listen carefully. Repeat back to the person what you think you heard, paraphrased in your own words, and ask questions when you need to. When the other party is finished, and you both agree that your understanding is correct, wait for a moment and think deeply about the other’s viewpoint before you respond.

When the moon is in the Waxing Phase, prick the tip of your left index finger with a sterilized needle, and squeeze out a bit of blood. Use the blood to write your initials on a smooth white stone as you visualize being back together with your lover. Write his/her initials next to yours, and then draw three circles of blood around both of the initials. Wrap the stone in a piece of pink or red velvet, tied with a pink ribbon and then bury it in the ground. If the spell is done correctly, you and your lover should be reunited within a period of three days and nights.

RED MAGICK
Red is the color of life; therefore, spells written in red ink are quite powerful. This spell will bring you almost anything you wish. As you concentrate on your desire, in red ink draw a symbol of your wish on a sheet of plain white paper. For example, draw a heart for love, a dollar sign for money, and so on. Beneath the symbol, also in red ink, write out your desire in the form of an affirmation such as: “I will find the perfect love.” Next, pass the paper through the smoke of an incense suitable to your goal. Fold the paper and hide it. In one month burn the paper; scatter the ashes to the wind.

BLESSING FOR CHILDREN SPELL     (Refer to my OIL MAGICK Page)
One or twice a year, bless your little ones under the full moon. Explain that in the olden days our wise ancestors made little images out of clay. These images were birds, bears, wolves, owls, and often the goddess. Making these images was called Skira, the festival of images. Get some terra-cotta and allow your children to make images of living beings out of the clay. As you work the clay like this, you will think of creation stories from around the world and tell how the gods and goddesses created life on the earth by molding bodies from clay. Create magical names for the images brought forth from he clay. As the images take shape, empower it with a special meaning for the child. After the magical name has been chosen, light a white candle and have the children stand in the light. One by one, have the children say I name you (chosen name) and present you to Grandmother Moon. The child bows down, and you sprinkle him or her with blessed droplets from a green bough you have dipped in water. Then to the child say Be well and protected, (chosen name), and loved! Be healthy, happy, and wise! If the child has a fervent wish, you and he or she can add it into the blessing. To finish the child holds the clay figure up to the moon and then twirls around three times clockwise, saying three times I accept this blessing!

PEONY SPELL
The peony is the Greek symbol of healing. To promote good health, pick several peonies and place them in a glass that is filled halfway with water. Set the glass on a windowsill for an entire day. At night, check to see if the water has become colored. If the water is not colored, leave the glass in the Sun another day, or until the water is colored. Then, add the colored water to a warm bath. Your ailments should lessen and heal shortly. The peony is protected by woodpeckers, so do not pick peonies when in sight of one—or the opposite effect will occur.

HOUSE HARMONY SPELL
If you have been having quarrels and discord in your home, a spirit-scaring ritual may help. Get everyone in the household together in the main room of the house, especially if they have been involved in the arguments. Give everyone a bell, a pot or pan lid, and a stick, or some other way to make noise. Improvising is fine, as long as it’s loud. Start making lots of noise, and go through the whole house, scaring away the demons of conflict and strife. Come back to the main room, let the noise build to a peak, then stop. Be very quiet for a few minutes, then hug each other.

STANG RUNE SPELL:  (Refer to my RUNE and STONE DIVINATION SECTION)
Runes may be used in spell work to form words or to evoke images, and thus enhance energies. To empower a stang (a two or three-pronged staff used as walking stick and portable altar), pass it through a fire and sprinkle it with the symbols of the elementals: salt, smoke, flame, and water. Engrave on the stang the symbol of possession, the rune Ethel (o). Beneath it, create a monogram of your craft name. Next, place the symbols of the Lady and the Lord, the runes Beorc (b) and Os (a), at either side of your name. Then connect them all with the symbol of endurance, the rune Eoh (c). Finally, decorate other portions of the stang with the symbols of protection, the rune Thorn (u), and joy, the rune Wynn (w).

SPELL FOR MINOR AILMENTS
Unnecessary minor ailments can be a bother. To avoid them, cast a circle and place yourself at the center. Light some jasmine oil or incense and visualize yourself rising into a violet, perfumed sphere. As you do so, let yourself feel emotional, and let your mind turn to nostalgia and to recollection. Before you drift away, light some frankincense oil or incense and rise up again until you reach a solar sphere, burning away trivial concerns and emotional bonds. Feel yourself purged of small-minded subjectivity as you abide here. Now light some sweet almond oil or incense. Rise up yet further, your personality stepping aside, your higher self stepping in. Attune yourself to this greater perspective. Ask that you remain in communion with this higher aspect of yourself. Unnecessary minor ailments should soon cease.

BOOKSTORE MEDITATION:      (Refer to my OIL MAGICK Page)
Start by wearing brown clothing, amber jewelry, and some amber perfume or a drop of one of Saturn’s favorite oils—patchouli, sandalwood, Cedar wood, or cypress. At the bookstore, meditate on the shelved books. Take in their titles and the colors of their covers. Take three deep breaths and listen to see if any books “call” to you. If so, buy one. If not, place your hands with palms toward the books. Move your hands slowly across the shelf. When your hand feels a warm spot, stop. Take the book off the shelf where you stopped. Continue the spell throughout any sections of the bookstore that interest you. You may fid just the sort of book you’ve been looking for—or one you never expected to find at all!

MANDRAKE MONEY SPELL:
Mandrake (Mandragora officinarum) that most magical of herbs, can be used to gain money. First, activate the root by gathering it in a Full Moon with the point of a silver blade. Clean the root in spring water, and place it into a velvet-lined box. Put the box in an active part of the house, and leave it undisturbed for three days. On the third night, soak it in warm spring water overnight. The root is now ready for magic. Place the root back into the velvet-lined box, this time with silver coins. Lock the box and store it away. Your money will double.

SUN CHILD BLESSING:    (Refer to My TAROT MAGICK Page)
Because the Sun promotes growth and health, a Sun image is an appropriate charm for blessing a child. It is easy to find jewelry, pillows, candle holders, and other objects with Sun images, due to a recent fashion for celestial designs. The Sun card from a tarot deck can also be used as an amulet. This card pertains to the birth and well-being of children, as some older French cards show two children dancing beneath the Sun while some newer versions feature a carefree child riding a horse. Empower your object by holding it to the Sun when you have good light. Visualize it being filled with warmth and power while saying: “Child of light, with eyes so bright, grow strong in health and wholeness.” At the same time, visualize the child in question surrounded by a radiant golden aura.

SPIRITUAL HOUSECLEANING SPELL      (Refer to my OIL MAGICK Page)
The spiritual aspects of cleaning house are often used by the practitioner of Voodoo or Santeria. In botanicas, you will find many floor washes, powders for sweeping, room sprays, and cleaning products with names like “House Blessing” and “Peaceful Home.” These products are safe for home use and are recommended, but you can make your own. On a Saturday, put a few drops of essential oil of patchouli, Cedarwood, and sandalwood into water. Cedarwood has the added benefit of repelling moths; cedar shavings can be hung in muslin bags in closets, or crushed cedar shavings can be spread on the carpeting before vacuuming. To attract blessings, mop or wash in a deosil fashion. To dispel negativity, clean in a widdershins direction. A general “House Blessing”—smudging of the house with cedar, sage, or Sweetgrass—is recommended once a month as well.

CHRISTMAS CANDLE SPELL:
For good luck to smile upon you throughout the coming year, light a Yule-candle (a large mold-candle decked with evergreens) on Christmas or Christmas Eve. Recite the following incantation: “Candle of Yule with flame bright, you shall burn through this night. Bring us fortune and luck fair all through the coming year. So mote it be.” Allow the Yule-candle to burn, undisturbed, until sunrise of December 26. A safe place to keep a burning Yule-candle overnight is either in the bathtub or kitchen sink. When time comes to put out the candle, extinguish the flame with a candle snuffer or by pinching it out between your moistened fingertips. Blowing it out, according to tradition, will cause all of your good luck to be scattered to the wind.

NEW YEAR SPELL:
To ensure that the New Year is full of prosperity and good health, dye an egg bright red and paint pictures of dragons on it. Dragons are popular images of good luck during the Chinese New Year celebration. Soak the egg overnight in a mixture of milk and honey. At dawn on the second day of the New Year, take the egg and bury it near an entrance to your home. As you cover the egg with earth say: "Egg so red, with dragon’s might, Bless this year with health and light; Bountiful joy you bring to me, As I will, so mote it be!" 

PROTECT A MESSAGE SPELL
To protect a message to a trusted friend, picture yourself within a cone of light as you write it. Infuse the cone with all of your will and might, and raise the cone to cover you and your writing table. Raise the cone through your heart, your head, and let it swirl around you as your write. After you finish writing, close your eyes. Imagine sending the message on its way through your town, over the houses and buildings, and out to the great beyond. Imagine fairies flying with your message in hand, protecting it. Put your message in an envelope and mail it.

A RITE FOR HONORING YOUR ANCESTORS
Use a candle in the color that feels right to you for this ritual. A white candle can symbolize the whole spectrum of ancestral gifts and blessings, as well as the state of purity to which most souls return in death. Yellow or peach would be good for extending warmth and affection, while silver could symbolize the ethereal qualities of the world of spirit. Similarly, numerous fragrances or incenses could be appropriate for this rite. Lemon, lemongrass, and copal have been associated with spirit communication, and frankincense, myrrh, rosemary, rose geranium, anise, sandalwood, and cypress are known as spiritually protective fragrances. Set up your altar with photographs and heirlooms that remind you of your ancestors. You may even want to include their favorite food or drinks as an offering.
Light your candle, and read aloud or recite silently to yourself the following blessing:
O my forbears, O my ancestors, You whom I have known and loved, And you who have gone before,
with names and lives unknown to me, yet alive within my body, and within my family’s traditions,
let the warmth of this flame convey my blessings. At this time I honor you and claim the best from you,
that everything good be preserved, and that every good thing be remembered. O my ancestors,
in whichever worlds you wander, may your ways be blessed.
Allow the candle to burn as long as you wish. As you go throughout your day, think on the ways in which your ancestors have influenced you; how they have helped to inform the way you live your life.

CONJURING A GOAL SPELL
Our collective focus now turns to the coming year, and to our goals, resolutions, and new beginnings. To strengthen your focus on a new goal, select a card from your favorite tarot deck that symbolizes your desire. If it's an increasing or attracting goal, choose a night during the waxing Moon to cast this spell. If it's a decreasing or releasing intention, choose a night during the waning Moon. Light a white candle. Place your tarot card in front of you. On a clean piece of paper write down your goal three times, and place it in your wallet. Place the tarot card on your altar. When the goal is achieved, burn the paper and return the card to your deck.

DANDELION RHEUMATISM POTION
To make a potion to cure rheumatism, begin with half a handful of fresh dandelion leaves. Put the dandelion leaves in a cup of boiling water, saying:  "By power of leaf and herbal charm, By potion’s strength, relieve all harm.  Pain be gone and joints be free. As I will, so mote it be.
Infuse for fifteen minutes, adding a clear quartz crystal for the last five. Drink half a cup of the potion daily. Carry the crystal with you, but wash it each time you make a new batch of potion to remove the accrued negativity. After a few months, the dandelion potion will remove the acid deposits that cause the pain of rheumatism.

CONJURING BAGS: FOR HEALTH
Place three copper pennies, mustard seed, the person's name and a piece of turquoise or clear crystal in a small green bag. Empower the bag for healing. Keep until the person is well or give to the sick person as a healing charm.

GROWING YOUR LOVE SPELL
In order to bring an increasing flow of love your way, obtain seeds (or purchase seedlings) for any plant you wish to grow, along with a small flowerpot and some potting soil. Plant the seeds, or seedlings, and bless them. Imagine that as they grow, so will the love in your life. Visualize yourself giving and receiving love. Nurture the plants by ensuring they have enough water and sunlight, and look upon them each day as a symbol of increasing love in your life. Use words such as this for your visualization:  "Great spirit, Bless these gentle plants. Allow them to grow in love. And as they do, let my loving nature increase. Help my relationships to grow and flourish, Seed to flower, Minute to hour – Bring love into my life.

TO HEX A RAPIST
On the waning moon best done 3 days before the dark moon get a black image or a penis candle (black) Name it rapist on the front and back. If you know the persons name write that too. write this near the op of the candle. Anoint it with double-cross, black arts oil, or hexing oil and your urine. Menstrual blood is also a great idea as well. Then on your alter have 2 white candles as well burn a good cursing incense or black arts incense, or even the incense of a particular goddess that you are using. As you light the candle say this:
" In the most sacred name of Hecate, the Goddess of life and death, She Who holds the key to the land of the underworld, let this rapist be caught by his own stupidity, by his own ego, by his own evil, so mote it be!"
Now visualize his power leaving him, see him lose at the trial. See this coward suffer, see him ruined!
When you finished your spell and the candle has burned down all the way collect all the remains and take them to a living body of water and toss them into the waves. after throwing them in the water don't look back lest you break the spell. If  you do not live near a body of water ~ use a cemetery!  Leave a bottle of rum for the graveyard spirits, put the bottle of rum down first say to the spirits of the graveyard of your spell give them the rum place the remains there and walk away. Now light a white & blue candle on your alter at home for blessings and protection.  You can use the goddess Diana in her dark aspect of Umbrae or  Kali, or you can use a goddess that is a protectress of women. Remember a rapist is slime! They dont care who they hurt, they deserve what they get.

TO RID OF SOMETHING TRYING TO RUIN YOUR LOVE LIFE
Get a red candle with a snake entwined around it or carve a snake around the candle. write on the snake the things that are in the way of you and your sweetheart. write on the smooth part of the candle (not on the snake) the name of your lover and the Goddess Diana 3 times. If you have any more space left on the candle write "May (name) and myself be lovers in trust forever."
Now anoint the the part without the snake with Lovers oil or any type of love oil Anoint the snake with some burning oil to burn away obstacles (oils like cinnamon, cayenne or any stinging oil).  Light the candle on your alter and burn during the waxing moon.  Say: "as this candle burns, so shall the obstacles melt between me and (name). So mote it be!"
Do this spell for 3 nights in a row on the 3rd night let this candle burn all the way down. Collect the remnants and throw them into body of living water.

TO STOP HARASSMENT AT WORK OR SCHOOL
Perform this spell during the waning moon for the best results. Prepare your alter with white candles. Use a brown image candle to represent the creep who is harassing you. Anoint this image candle with Rosa Ava or bend over oil. Write the persons name on it front and back. On a clean piece of parchment paper write this:  From now on (name) will say nothing but sweet words about me and to me. By the power of Aradia, so mote it be!
Put a drop of honey in the middle of the paper and roll it into a ball. Heat your athame (ritual dagger) make a gash in the candle's mouth, and stuff the paper ball into it. Burn High priestess incense (if you dont have it burn any appropriate incense) Let the candle burn a little while every night for an odd number of nights, for a max of 9 nights. Throw the remnants into a living body of water, but save some of the ashes from the incense burner to sprinkle in the path of your oppressor.

TO MAKE A SPELL PERFORM FASTER
Draw a psychic Jera rune over you alter right after doing your spell with your dominant hand, see the rune in green.

HEALING FLAMES
Draw a picture of yourself with the sickness, wound or condition, point out the problem in the picture a large hammer against the head for a headache; black worms for a virus, or a picture with you with a broken limb or a sore. Now charge a red candle with healing energy (you can anoint it with a healing oil) light the candle hold the tip of the drawing to the flame then place it in a heat proof container or your cauldron.
Now draw a picture of yourself happy and in total health and place this picture under the red candle and let it burn out. visualize yourself getting better then see yourself in total health. You can do this for someone else with their permission of course.

FIVE PENNIES SPELL
Your front door functions as an ideal place for inviting energies of prosperity into your home. To do this, place five shiny pennies beneath your porch. This will encourage both money and love to enter your household. bit of food under the porch will ensure you will never know hunger too.

ALMOND OIL BLESSING
Almond oil the symbol of wakefulness to ancient Egyptians. It is used in prosperity rituals and also added to money incenses. To make use of the powers of this oil dip your ritual knife in the oil and raise them both up to the sky and say these words:  " In the name of the Moon, of the stars
and of the sun I bless this oil"

AVENGING POTION
Do not consume mandrake for it is a poison (refer to my herbal section)!  Make mandrake juice by seeping this herb in hot water for about half an hour. here are the instructions in a rhyming context:  to avenge an act of malice,  mandrake juice within a chalice should be held high in the air
and enchanted with a prayer (this in quotation is what you say)  "evil doings have been wielded bringing harm to those unshielded words of power, words of rhyme help me to avenge this crime  May (name) be binded and be burned by his/her own evil thrice returned!  Blood of mandrake work for me. This is my will so mote it be."   Pour the potion on the round and your foe shall be spellbound!

PSYCHIC POWER SPELL
At midnight when the moon is round lay thy cauldron on the ground fill with mace and yarrow dried stir it till you're satisfied add one cup of alcohol strike a match and let it fall into thy cauldron bright with flame touch third eye and then exclaim   " As these mystic herbs consume During this dark and Witching Hour may my psychic powers bloom Like a garden of spring flowers Harming none, this spell is done By Law of Three. So mote it be!"

POTION TO CONJURE SPIRITS
Brew a tea of dandelion root this is said to be able to conjure spirits of those who have crossed over. Place this by your bed at night. If the spirits name is recited that spirit will appear in a dream.

TO ADD AN EXTRA BOOST TO YOUR BIND SPELL
After doing your bind spell do this one to reinforce it. Take the person's photo and make a X over the person with cascarilla. Dig a hole in he ground and stick the photo on it bury it. Now stomp on it 3 times,  walk away and dont look back. Use your foot that is on the same side of your dominant hand.

BOTTLE LAMP TO EXORCISE AN ENEMY (From Haiti)
You will need: a pair of bones {any bones will do fish, chicken, hen etc}, graveyard dirt or dirt from a crossroads, any type of hot pepper the hotter the better, castor oil, powdered lizard or an article from your foe or your enemy's picture, soot or powdered charcoal, red precipitate (red oxide of Mercury), one whip or something that will act as a whip, one wick, one rope or heavy twine, one glass bottle.
Empower all of these items with the sincere desire of removing your enemy and ceasing his/her power to hurt you in any way.
Place all of the ingredients in the bottle. Suspend the wick in the bottle and light it. After it has burned the whole day (that is the purpose of the castor oil) blow out the wick and cap or cork it. Hang up the bottle by the neck of it in your yard or something and lash it with your whip daily. When lashing the bottle you can visualize your foe losing the power to hurt you or see the bottle as your foe and see your enemy suffering from the lashings. Do this with intent. This is good to do during the full moon and ending at the new moon.

GOOD FORTUNE COIN CAKE
An ancient Byzantine custom of baking a “coin cake.” To make such a coin cake, drop a blessed coin into the batter prior to baking your cake. When the cake is cut, whomever receives the coin has good luck during the coming year. Be sure to sterilize your coin before-hand by placing it in boiling water for one minute; you may also wish to wrap it in aluminum foil before adding it to the batter. Tell everyone before you serve the cake that they may find a coin—no one should be surprised. Slice the cake in this manner: The first piece is for the home; the next for the head of house. Thereafter, slices are passed from oldest to youngest.

NORSE RUNE DIVINATION SPELL
The Norse people used runes to record important events, inscribe names on weapons and monuments, and divine the future. As the year-wheel turns, we have an opportunity to glimpse what lies ahead. Runes are especially suited to this kind of work, as this verse explains:
Rune craft, rune lore, Seek to learn a little more. Rune old, rune true, Whisper what it’s coming to.
To preview the coming year, draw twelve runes, and lay them out in a row. The first rune on the left corresponds to January, and so on down the line. Each one suggests the overall tone for that month.

RECONCILIATION SPELL
Collect a blue candle (for peace and healing), Lavender (for peace and purification), Sugar, a rose (healing, love) and lavender oil. Bless ingredients. Anoint the candle with the oil. Chant: "Spirit, grant us clear minds and steady hearts, a new road, and light burdens. As I will, so mote it be."
Sprinkle the sugar in a circle around the candle, saying, May our words and thoughts be sweet once more. Sprinkle lavender in a circle outside the sugar, saying, May our souls know peace. Sprinkle rose petals in a circle outside the lavender, saying, May our hearts know love again. *Note that this spell does not bring you and your friend together again, nor does it dictate your actions. It merely asks that each heart be healed.
 

PEACE SPELL
Pax, the goddess of peace, is honored on this date (January 30) . With Concordia and Salus, she represents the Triple Goddess, Fortuna. Each of our thoughts and actions today vibrate through the web that connects us to the universe and affects the fortunes of all. A good idea today would be to use the color blue, a cornucopia, and an olive branch as your focus objects. Peace begins with ourselves, so that will be the focus. Start by meditating to free your mind from any undue disturbance, guilt, and insecurity. Try working with Concordia; she requires harmony with others in every area of our lives, from getting along with our family to behaving in traffic. This is particularly difficult sometimes in contemporary society. Know this, however: All our acts vibrate along the web of life. Pray also to Salus, whose presence means health for ourselves, friends and  the environment.

WHITE BUFFALO WOMAN PEACE AND PROTECTION SPELL
Since the end of the twentieth century, more than one white buffalo calf has been born. The white buffalo has long been a symbol in Native American lore of peace and the arrival of a new era. The goddess called White Buffalo Woman, meanwhile, is a goddess of peace. Invoke her to protect your home and keep it peaceful. To do so, find a picture, figurine, or plush toy white buffalo. Place the white buffalo along with any other Native American motifs you may have (a dream catcher, headdress, etc.. ) on your altar with an offering of spring water and tobacco. Ask White Buffalo Woman for protection and peace, then smudge each room three times with a bunch of white sage, asking negative energies to leave. Afterward, thank her, and place the artifacts where they will do the most good (dream catcher in the bedroom window, for example.) Smudge the home once a month.

MOON WATER RITUAL FOR A PEACEFUL HOME
Fill a glass bowl or jar with clean water. Place either a quartz crystal, moonstone, or both in the water. Add three drops each of rose and lavender oil, and set the water outside overnight in a place where the light of the waxing Moon can shine upon it. Say this blessing upon the water:  "Moonlight,   bless this water,   clean and pure.    May it bring peace and simple joy to my home. "
On the following morning, pour the water into a spray bottle or covered jar, allowing the stones to remain in the water if possible. Use the elixir to mist each room of your home, and visualize peace and harmony. You can add the rest of the water mixture to your bath water, or use it to anoint objects.

SOOTHING LIGHT OF THE MOON SPELL
Take a few moments to breathe deeply, and imagine you are standing beneath a waxing Moon. Feel the cool light of the Moon on your body as it begins to sink into your skin, filling your being. Give thanks for the presence of the Moon and its energy. Then ask that you might be blessed with wisdom and balance today. Allow the experience to unfold as it will, trusting that you will learn what you need to in time. When you feel you have received what you will in this meditation, thank the Moon for its blessings, and go about your day.

MOON WAXING ENERGY SPELL
As the Moon waxes, our power grows. Take advantage of this rising tide to charge up your reserves for the holiday season. Stand outside where you can see the Moon, and say four times: "In this place and in this hour,  White Moon fill me with your power! "
Visualize yourself brimming with silvery effervescent energy, able to accomplish all your tasks. Whenever you have need, you can repeat this to revitalize yourself:  "In this place and in this hour,   I call on the white Moon’s power. "

MOON WATER
After sunset tonight, when the Moon is up, take a bottle or other container you can close, and fill it full of water, preferably from a well or other natural source. You can use bottled spring water if there is no safe natural source of water nearby. Put the open container of water outside, and set it where the light of the Moon will shine on it. Ask the Goddess to bless the water with her light. Leave the container there as long as the Moon is up, then close the container carefully. Keep it to use in all rituals and spells that require water. You can do this every month at the Full Moon to have a supply of blessed water on hand.

WISH UPON THE MOON SPELL
To request a wish, inscribe the symbol of the waxing Moon in a pure beeswax candle with a rose thorn. Light the candle and with your eyes focused upon the flame concentrate on your wish. When the wish is firmly in your thoughts chant:  "Gracious Lady Moon, mother of love and light, grant my wish.  Fulfill my dreams. Smile on me tonight. " Extinguish the candle flame but hold its memory in your mind for as long as you can. As you dwell upon the vision of the burning flame, know that your request has been heard. Within the space of a lunar cycle, your wish should be granted.

MENTAL FLEXIBILITY SPELL
Here is an exercise to enhance your mental flexibility for future visualization. Start by sitting or lying still, and visualizing yourself descending a spiral staircase. Keep your hand on the outer wall as you go. You may find it helpful to imagine that twelve steps take you all the way around the inner pole, just as twelve hours complete the circle of a clock face. Most people find it very challenging to visualize spiraling like this in their mind while their body remains motionless. If you can’t get it right the first time, don’t despair. Practice brings improvement.

GUARDIAN ANGEL SPELL
By the beginning of March, we are usually starting to get rather stir-crazy. There is a sense of new beginnings stirring at Imbolc, and the excitement we feel for all the new growth is just about unbearable. It’s time therefore for a guardian angel day. Mondays are traditional days for guardian angels. As you perform your morning ablutions, ask your guardian angel to play with you this day. Even if you have to go to work or school, you and your angel can create a joyous day together. Wear bright clothing. Look for the positive in everything. Give in to impulse. See where your guardian angel leads you, and play. Find the joy in the minutiae of the day, and watch how it grows with exponential energy.

PROTECTION AMULET SPELL
For this spell, you will need: a smudge or purifying incense, a circle of red or black cloth; a red, black, or white string; some mugwort, rosemary, or sage. Start by smudging yourself, your cloth, and your string. Ask the herbs to work together to bring you security and peace. Place the herbs in the center of the cloth circle, and tie it securely with the string. Ask for the blessings of the god and goddess on this amulet. Ask that only beneficial energies enter your space while you are in the presence of this amulet, and feel the charge of your requests. Thank the spirits of the sacred herbs for their assistance, and wear your amulet with confidence.

UPSET PLANS OF A FOE SPELL
To upset the plans of a foe, buy a thick white candle and carve it into the rough shape of a human being. Write the name of your enemy on a strip of paper using red ink, and wrap the paper around the chest of the wax image. Hold it in place by thrusting a steel pin through the chest of the figure. Think hard of your enemy as you insert the pin. Tie a length of red thread around the feet of the image, and suspend it upside down, saying: “As this image of [enemy’s name] is overturned, so are the plans of [enemy’s name] overthrown.” Leave the image suspended. From time to time bat it with your hand to make it twist and swing, and repeat the charm.

PHOTO POWER SPELL
To display a photo or other type of picture is an act of magic, for photographs preserve the power of memory. The photos you keep affirm your connection with people, places, or the person you were at some time in the past, and every time you view these images, the connections are reactivated. To preserve the magical moment captured in a photo or to invoke the power of an ideal expressed in a picture, write the following words on the back of the image, or on a separate piece of paper to be inserted into the frame behind it: “Time through time, bid time return. Likeness of life, through power of art, eternally young.” To further fix this spell, you can also draw symbols such as hearts, flowers, and the infinity symbol, or attach colorful stickers, to the back of the picture or paper.

THE POWER WITHIN SPELL
Correspondences, incantations, and the like are wonderful adjuncts to the art of magic. But all magic begins and ends with the practitioner. The magical practitioner is the one who charges the universal energy that creates magic. The mere act of reciting words at a particular phase of the Moon does little to influence outcome. This working is not one of attracting power to you. Rather, your power has to come from within. This working therefore is one of inner growth, as you learn what power you possess and how to recognize any blocks to that power. Sit in a relaxed position. State the intent of gaining wisdom regarding your personal power. Beginning with the root, focus a stream of energy to each chakra. Focus on the emotional aspect of the chakra—on the feelings and on any blocks or negative messaging clogging these power centers. Here is a list of associations to each of the seven chakras:  "Root chakra: “I am.”   Belly: Creation and pleasure.   Solar Plexus: Ability to manifest.
Heart: Emotions an perceptions; also, this is the link between the mundane and spiritual planes.  Throat: Speaking the truth.   Brow: Perceptions of the future.  Crown: Connections to a higher self . Listen to the messages from your higher self. Ground any excess energy. Journal your perceptions

  
  MAGICAL VISUALIZATION: 

This subject consists of the practice of creating images of your goal in the mind.  In magic, the mind is a very powerful tool in forming energy.  Positive and negative thinking is an example of this.  Visualization gives the power it's purpose.  Most people visualize every day.  You imagine living in your dream home or driving your dream car.  Or meeting your dream man/woman.  We all recall the faces of distant friends, relatives or people we hate.  Magical visualization is simply an extension of this.  Rather than recalling the past, we create images of things that we have not seen or experienced.  

A Simple Exercise in Creative Visualization:

 First, think of something you would like. It might be an object you would like to have, an event you would like to happen, a situation in which you'd like to find yourself, or some circumstance in your life you'd like to improve.
 Get in a comfortable position, either sitting or lying down, in a quiet place where you won't be disturbed. Relax your body completely. Breathe slowly and deeply. Count down slowly from 10 to 1, feeling yourself getting more deeply relaxed with each count.
  When you feel deeply relaxed, start to imagine the thing you want exactly as you would like it. You may imagine what people are saying, or any details that make it more real to you. You may take a relatively short time or quite a few minutes to imagine this - whatever feels best for you. It should bbe a thoroughly enjoyable experience, like a child daydreaming.
  Now keeping the idea or image still in your mid, mentally make some very positive, affirmative statement about it. Always end your visualization with a firm statement to yourself.
 If doubts or contradictory thoughts arise, don't resist them or try to prevent them. This will tend to give them a power they don't otherwise have. Just let them flow through your consciousness and return to your positive statements and images

I practice Visualization daily, and it works.  What I do to prepare is:
Sit quietly and close my eyes,  (I love the dark)  Choose the subject, situation or object you want (only one)
(DO NOT VISUALIZE OTHER PEOPLE)
Then I make a mental image, as real as possible in my mind
Only choose one image and use it exclusively for that day or time period.
