Neighbour Martha Wells, wife of Henry Wells, assisted with the delivery. On the 13th of December Eliza died of Puerperal fever. On the 8th of February 1856, Thomas laid his young son to rest with his mother at the Brighton Cemetery. Thomas was thrown from his cart and died 13 Oct 1856. Eldest dau Susannah had only recently married Thomas Rose and the Stuckeys took in the younger children from 'Somerset Years', Eliza was dau of Ann and George Dunstone. Elder child is listed as Susannah aged 5 From Website Thomas Male arrived in Port Phillip on the 23rd of July 1841, aboard the George Fyffe, with his wife Eliza and their two young children; Susanna aged 4 and William just over a year old. Thomas’s older brother Simeon and his family accompanied them on the voyage. | ||||||

From Ancestry question from Jean Jones 2001, Sarah Melampy/Mellamphy who was born in Tipperary around 1820/1824. She was an assisted immigrate to Port Phillip, Victoria Australia on the Agricola. The Agricola left Cork June 1841 and arrived in Port Phillip Bay on 3 October 1841. Sarah married a John Hall from Lancashire in Melbourne on 19 March 1847. Sarah dired in Ballarat Victoria on 21 February 1888. She may have travelled on the Agricola with her sisters Mary and Catherine. Sarah's trade was listed as housemaid, she was Roman Catholic and she could read and her bounty was 19 pounds. Her death certificate does not list her father's given name but lists his occupation as Pig Dealer. From webpage, as Sarah Melampy/Mulampy wed 1847 to John Hall and registered 4 chn, Richard 1847, Alice 1851, Margaret 1858, James 1865. She died 1888 aged 68, with surname remembered as Malampy | ||||||
