THE BALKAN GROUP

Dialects: arlija, dzambazi, tinners romany,xoraxané, sepecides.

THE CENTRAL GROUP

Population: Non calculated

Dialects: burgenland, vend, prekmurje

Countries of the european continent: Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Bohemia, Carpats, Moravia, Czech Republic, Austria.

THE NORTHEM GROUP

BALTIC SUBGROUP

Population: 100.000

Dialects: romany latvio (letorromaní), northem russian romany, white russian romany, estonian romany, polish romany (baltorromany).

Countries of the european continent: Poland, Baltic Region, central and south parts, Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia y Ukraine.

CARPATS SUBGROUP

Population: 241.000 or more

Dialects: moravian romany, slovak romany of Est, slovak romany of west.

SUBGROUP KALO-FINNISH

Population: 8.000

Dialects: kalo-finnish romany

SUBGROUP SINTE

Population: 200.000 (1980)

Dialects: abbruzzesi (Written Sample), eslovenian-croatian romany, serbian romany.
