Cheeko's Comics
Hikari: Hi everyone! Here is where my friend, Cheeko, will display her beautiful artworks. She is a master artist who creates and draws her own characters. She is actually the one who created the Hikari_Tenshi pic for me in the logo. Please enjoy your visit here and have fun looking at her many artworks. Her webcomic's name is "One Question". Cheeko: Greetings, mortals. I am the almighty Cheeko, the artist and creator
some,
if not most, of the artwork here, and the author/creator/artist of the
webcomic “One Question.? How did I get here, you ask? Why am I doing
this?
Well, it all started this one crazy night when Hikari-Tenshi hid in
my
closet and waited till I was almost asleep, then she jumped out with
this
rope, potato sack, and metal pipe, and then she?:Hikari growls and brandishes a board with a nail through it:
Er?that is...
One day we got together to see the wonderful Japanese film Howl’s
Moving
Castle, and suddenly realized that we both enjoyed watching/discussing
anime
films and TV shows, which was pretty cool. Suddenly she was struck
with
this wonderful idea (it looked like it hurt, too... she had this huge
bruise
on her forehead for weeks afterwards.) that we create a
jointed-anime-fan-website together. Well, I thought it was a great
idea,
but usually I just get excited about these sort of things and then
nothing
ever gets done. This, I expected, was just what was going to happen,
but lo
and behold, she calls me up, like, three or four days later, saying:
“Is
your computer on? I’ve got the thing pretty much outlined, but I still
need
some pictures from you. Are you going to get those done or what?? I
was
pretty shocked, but then got to work right away.
I had been wanting to do a webcomic for the longest time; I even had
the
story outlined and the world pretty much under development: outlining
the
races, religions, climates, settings, gods, mythology, languages, etc.
etc.,
and had even started it on the server “DrunkDuck.com?(you could go
check it
out now, if you like), but I thought it would have been even cooler if
it
was on our jointed one.
What else is there to tell you? This thing is still in the works;
we’re
still trying to get stuff done, I’m still doing pictures to be posted
here
and there, Hikari is doing a beautiful job of writing and posting all
the
HTML codes...
Hey, giving credit where credit is due, I wouldn’t even be here if
Hikari
wasn’t so good at what she does and for just being so on top of things.
Me,
I’m just the lazy procrastinator who just sits around and draws while
everyone else does REAL work.
...and that’s all I’m going to write for now. Keep checking back,
though.
We’re still getting stuff up, so there should be a ton of new surprises
just
around the corner.
