What isn't energy is a better question. The theory is everything is energy, even matter. As a follower of the Super String Theory (BRIAN GREENE ROCKS!!) I can safely say that matter is ultimatly made up of tiny loops of energy called super strings. Therefore everything is energy. Now this may not be part of the String Theory (not sure, I guess haven't read it thoroughly enough>8) ) but based on the evidence presented before me and my own personal experiences, by stringing strings together, you get waves, or radiation. By increasing or decreasing the frequency of these waves, you can get visible light, x rays, gamma rays, microwaves, AM/FM/PM radio waves, etc. Theoretically, you could even get matter if the frequency was high enough. The closer it gets to a flat line with a frequency of 0, the closer it gets to breaking apart into superstrings. The closer it gets to a wavelenth (opposite of frequency) of 0 (or a frequency of infinity) the closer it gets to becoming matter. How does energy get into our bodies? We are energy. We have our own energy field. This is obvious and undenyable, as gravity is energy and all matter has gravity. So my theory is (still testing this one) is this: It is known that our bodies create movement through the hydrolyis (or breaking down by adding water) of ATP (Adenosine Triophosphate), which is the energy molecule of our bodies. This energy is stored inside of the high energy transient bonds of the phosphate molecules in ATP. Based on tangeble experience and ancient studies, there are points on our bodies called chakras and some called haras or dan tiens, which store energy/emit it into our external energy fields. The energy stored inside is either released as heat or kept in reserve. Why then, should we not simply emit this energy to affect external matter? And why then, can we not use our external energy fields for the same purposes? Why not??!! Our subconcious mind (such as the autonomic nervous system) controls the bodily functions we don't have control over, like heart beat, digestion, metabolism, etc. The concious mind (such as the somatic nervous system) gives us control over voluntary functions, like movement. Some functions, like breathing for example, are shared. the control of your energy field is controled by your subconcious mind, but can be converted through training to be shared, as can the emission of energy. Believe me, I've experienced these things. And that's energy in a nutshell (a rather bloated one at that!) |
