From: Nancy Guevarra Narciso Date: Wed Nov 6, 2002 3:21 pm Subject: With Nenita and Sylvia Nenita Cordero Rodaway,AB69 and new editor of the Paulinian in 68-69, is here from Wales, UK for a short, 10-day visit. Sylvia celebrated her birthday last November 3. Two reasons to get together again. Pamela Concordia David, also AB 69 was also with us but left before the pic-taking. 	From: Nancy Guevarra Narciso Date: Sun Oct 27, 2002 5:18 pm Subject: Pic at Cocoi's Saturday, October 26, 2002 at Cocoi's.We had our despedida for Elvie and the kickoff of our collection for Rosa plus the viewing of the much-awaited DC reunion tape. . . . . . . . I gave Rosa some new towels contained in the plastic bag she's holding and Corrie followed suit, giving in kind, pillows and a set of knives. On the box, the ever-religious Corrie wrote a dedication that started with the classic line "When God closes a door, He opens a window." In this pic, Corrie is reading the message that is meant to inspire and provide comfort.Look at Cocoi's blissful smile. Afterwards,we were quiet because we saw Rosa was close to tears. Suddenly, the ever-irreverent Lahla said,"Corrie, wala nang doors, pati windows. Nasunog lahat." We all burst out in laughter, including Rosa. . . . . . . . . We had a sumptuous dinner as always and tonight, we had three noodle dishes. AGAIN! Oro prepared hamburger steak with mushroom and gravy served on a bed of fetuccine. Cocoi ordered a bilao of pancit bihon and Nina who was last to arrive, came with pancit canton and pork asado ordered from a Chinese restaurant.Which brings us back to lesson 1, coordinate or else. This is a lessson forever lost to the PIGGs and Cocoi can shake her head in despair. . . . . . . . . After our dinner, we all settled down to watch the DC video tape, brought back by Ella. On the screen are the DC reunion attendees in a group pic with Iris,sprawled at center in her winning Olivia Newton-in- Grease getup. . . . . . . . Carolle found her missing car keys,guess where?...in her locked car!Talagang may alzy na. But didn't dampen her enthusiasm for the DC Video. . . . . I can't remember exactly what elicited the guffaws registered in this pic. Whether it was the afro wig of Mary Ann's boyfriend falling off or the sexy dancing of Lahla and Beth or Carme losing her poise over Elvie's fashion annotation or Irene leading the wild line dancing. Many times, we cheered and guffawed shamelessly while watching this precious DC video because, well, you know why. We saw what you did last... September!
