Resignation

"Go not about to establish thine own designs. Be obedient to the still small voice. Thine own imaginings may speak more loudly, but wait upon Me always."

Faith and Action

My promises are of no avail to thee except as ye apply and appropriate them by faith.  In thy daily walk, ye shall be victorious only to the degree that ye trust Me.  I can help thee only as ye ask.  I shall meet you at every point where ye put action alongside thy prayers. Over burdened as the world is with trouble and sickness, I need those who have proved My sufficiency in everyday, personal experience to lead the suffering to the fountains of life. No case is too hard for me. Never be taken by surprise when I use you to change a pattern.
Sincerity

This is why I said I loathed your sacrifices. It was not that I despised the ordinance in itself, but that I perceived that it was a product of the flesh—an expression of self-riteousness and in difference to the claim of God upon thy heart.  My ordinances are good and holy, but they are to be entered into with deep sincerity and with awareness of their true significance.  Let thy spirit never become callous.
On The Waters of  Sorrow

Never despair, for I am watching over and caring for thee. Be not anxious what seemeth to thee to be at present a difficult situation is all part of  My planning, and I am working out the details of circumstances to the end that I may bless thee and reveal Myself to thee in a new way.
Set The Course By My Promises

Be not afraid. I will not allow thine adversaries to swallow thee up.  Hold to My promises.  They are given to thee as a chart is given to a ship, and a compass to the hunter.  Ye may set thy course or find thy way by My promies. They will lead thee and guide thee in places where there is no trodden path. They will give thee direction and wisdom and will open up thine own understanding.
The Burden Bearer

My child, do not share thy burdens with all who come unto thee professing concern. If difficulties come, it is by My order and for thy benefit.
Safety In God’s Will

My will is not a place but a condition. Ye can trust Me, knowing that any pressure I bring to bear upon thy life is initiated by My love, and I will not do even this except as ye are willing and desire.
Release Thy Grief

Never cling to any trouble hoping to resolve it thyself, but turn it over to Me; and in doing so, ye shall free Me to work it out.

The Vineyard of Prayer

Faithful prayer warriors. Where are the ones who are willing to make themselves available to the spirit for this Ministry? Lo, I say, the Word sown shall dry up like carelessly strewn seed if it be not watered with tears of  intercession. But ye can make room in thy life or time apart with Me; and as ye place thyself at the disposal of the Holy Spirit, he shall use thee as a channel when the needs arise.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.  It is our light, night our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are born to make manifest the Glory of God that is within us.  It’s not just in some of us, it’s in evryone, and as we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same.  As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

There is a marvelous story of a man who once stood before God, his heart breaking from the pain and injustice in the world. "Dear God," he cried out, "look at all the suffering, the anguish and distress in the world. Why don’t you send help?" God responded, "I did send help.  I sent you."

David J. Wolpe

The late Earl Nightingale, writer and publisher of inspiratioal and motivational material, once told a story about a boy named Sparky.  For Sparky, school was all but impossible.  He failed every subject in the eighth grade. He flunked physics in high school, getting a grade of zero.  Sparky also flunked latin, algebra, and english.  He didn’t do much better in sports.  Although he did manage to make the school’s golf team, he promptly lost the only important match of the season.  There was a consolation match; he lost that too.  Through out his youth, Sparky was awkward socially.  He was not actually disliked by the other students; no one cared that much.  He was astonished if a classmate ever said hello to him outside of school hours.  There’s no way to tell how he might have done at dating.  Sparky never once asked a girl to go out in high school.  He was too afraid of being turned down.  Sparky was a loser.  He, his classmates… Everyone knew it.  So he rolled with it.  Sparky had made up his mind early in life that if things were meant to work out, they would.  Otherwise he would content himself with what appeared to be his inevitable mediocrity. However, one thing was important to Sparky-drawing.  He was proud of his artwork.  Of course, no one else appreciated it.  In his senior year of high school, he submitted some cartoons to the editors of the yearbook.  The cartoons were turned down.  Despite this particular rejection, Sparky was so convinced of his ability that he decided to become a professional artist.  After completing high school, he wrote a letter to Walt Disney Studios.  He was told to send some samples of his artwork, and the subject for a cartoon was suggested.  Sparky drew the proposed cartoon.  He spent a great deal of time on it and on all the other drawings he submitted.  Finally, the reply came from Disney Studios.  He had been rejected once again.  Another loss for the loser.  So Sparky decided to write his own autobiography in cartoons.  He described his childhood self---a little boy loser and chronic undearachiever.  The cartoon character would soon become famous worldwide.  For Sparky, the boy who had such luck of success in school and whose work was rejected again and again, was Charles Schulz.  He created the "Peanuts" comic strip and the little cartoon character whose kite would never fly and who never succeeded in kicking a football---Charlie Brown.

A doctor, who had devoted his life to helping the underprivelged, lived over a liquor store in the poor section of a large city.  In front of the liquor store was a sign reading. Dr. Williams Is Upstars. When he died, he had no relatives and he left no money for his burial. He had never asked for payment from anyone he had ever treated.  Friends and patients scraped enough money together to bury the good doctor, but they had no money for a tombstone. It appeared that his grave was going to be unmarked until someone came up witha wonderful suggestion.  They took the sign fromin front of the liquor store and nailed it to a post over his grav.  It made a lovely epitapgh:  Dr. Williams Is Upstairs
