In Your Wilderness
Vernetha  Mims1999
God will call us out of our wilderness, do we hear him?
God will show us out of our wilderness, can we see it?

God will lead us out of our wilderness, will we follow?
When you find yourself going through a situation over and over again, you
either passed up the door or afraid to go through it.  God has provided
you with a way out of your situation but you have been in that
circumstance so long you have become comfortable with it. You have gone on
your own free will and made the provisions that best suit you.  So you
wonder around in "your" wilderness.  You are so relaxed with it now that
if God opens a door you fight and wrestle because that situation is now
your crutch and your excuse for your failures so you continue to wonder in
      the wilderness.

Now realizing that you are in so much pain and misery you become bitter.  You want to be free, but you just can't let go of your crutch.  You see others delivered until you become angry. You go on believing you are faultless and blame others as you wonder in "your" wilderness.  God wants to bless you but you are so full of anger and
bitterness you can't see your way nor hear his voice for direction.  In
your wilderness and out of rebellion, you fall into sin. You commit acts
that allow the enemy to take possession of you because you feel God did
not hear you. You are weary, worn, and tired of living the way you do, but
you no longer have control of yourself.

In your heart and what's left of your spirit, you once believed in God and
as the prodigal son in Luke 15, you want to come back to that place in
him.  Now it would take the grace of God to deliver you because you have
now since, acted so foolishly. But God is just the kind of God that will
step into your wilderness and save you from yourself.  Why? Because he
loves you.  The biggest decision you will have to make to come out of your
wilderness is, go through that door or pass it up again.

Thank you and may God add a blessing to the reader.
