Golden Triangle Resort
The Golden Triangle refers to the area where the countries of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar (formerly Burma) all come together. The resort overlooks the Mekong River,Myanmar to the northwest and Laos to the northeast.
The resort was beautiful, with a nice pool and awesome views.

We visited a hostel supported by International Ministries. This hostel provides housing for hilltribe children who live in Chiangrai to attend school.
Non-Christian students are accepted. The hostel receives less than $0.50 per day to house the children. Naikawn Miseeree is the "warden" of the hostel.
