Mission #46
Completed by Bronto
It was early morning when I walked down the hallway shivering, despite my heavy fur. I couldn't bare to think of how Lord Tammo and Irongrip felt. I was heading to Tammo's office. As I entered, I nearly tripped on a small section of ice. I quickly recovered and shot Tammo and Irongrip a salute.    "Petty Officer Bronto, reporting, sah!" I said.    "At ease, Bronto," replied Irongrip.    "Bronto, I want you to find a way to get rid of all this confounded ice! On the double!" Tammo said as he pulled the jacket tighter around his shivering body.    "Yes sah!" I said. I turned on my heels and was gone in a second.    I wandered the halls for a little bit, trying to think of a solution. I accidentally bumped into a huge door. I found myself in front of the Forge Room. I remembered all the tales that I've heard about this room. Many of the greatest Badger Lords made their legendary weapons in this room, with the forge.    "Of course!" I said to myself. I dashed in and started the forge. Once the fire was burning, I began to pile more wood inside.    Around late afternoon, the entire mountain was considerably warmer. Tammo and Irongrip had figured out where the heat was coming from. They said to me when they entered, "Well done, Bronto! You have probably saved all of our lives."    "It's a pity we didn't think of this much earlier!"
Mission #52
By Danno Ffolger Loophok
I could hear the sliding of the rock when I went over to the wall. I could see clear through the mountain side and felt pretty vulnerable. I ordered sentries there at all times and one day a young hare yelled out that he had seen the wolves on shore. We didn't stay idle for long, springing to action all creatures grabbed weapons and flooded around the hole. Some went out to flank the enemy from behind and were successful in concealing them selves.  We charged at the foxes from all sides screaming eulalias and other battle cries. The wolfs stood fast for a fight and a fight they got. We lost a hare and a squirrel that day, two gallant and perilous beasts. Not one wolf lived to remember the event. Calling in a team of moles and otters the hole was fit with a piece of stone and held in place by a mud with pebbles and wood.
Mission #51

Lilian Galedeep, Ritchot Sander, Danno Ffolger Loophok and I-Bronto-were walking down the beach. In front of us was half of an immense red ship. I could see an enormous iron spike on the bow of the ship. I knew that I was just as curious about the ship as anyone else in Salamandastron. It had been washed on shore during an immense storm.             "Guys," Danno said. "Search the ship to see what its name is, what kind of ship it is, and where it may have come from."    "Yes sir." We said to present mission commander.    "I will go around back," said Lilian.    "I'll take front." I replied.    "I'll have the left side," Danno said.    "That leaves me with the right." said Ritchot.    We went our separate ways when we reached the vessel. I climbed up the side using the ropes that at one time used to hold the masts. On the way up, I found some faded black letters. Brushing away some moss, I read the name of the ship. Goreleech! The name told me all I needed to know about the ship. A searat ship.    On the deck there was a lot of moss and seaweed. I found a hole in the deck and jumped in. I actually fell through several other holes underneath. When I reached the bottom, I stumbled on some chains.    When I got up, I found that there were dozens of chains on the floor of this level. I found that these were slave chains.
Later, after we made our inspections, we  met out on the beach. We guessed that it was a searat ship. From the name to the slave chains to having no maps onboard told us our guess was correct. We headed back to Salamandastron to make our report.
Mission #69

After about a week of having those rats loitering on our doorstep, I finally decided to do something about it.  I walked down out of my room and strode down to the gate, where those vermin were stationed.  Two of the rabbit guards were standing there, puzzled, looking blankly at me.  They said in their gruff voices, “Wot do yew bally well think yer doin’?”  I answered them by saying, “I’m gonna try and drive out those vermin.”  They nodded slowly in understanding.  “We’ll help you, lad.”  We slowly opened up the heavy door.  One rat suddenly noticed me and the guards, and quickly alarmed the others.  After he set off the alarm, he threw his trident at me chest.  I barely dodged it as it hit my arm.  I screamed, pulled it out of my arm, and threw it right back at him.  He tried to get out of the way, but it just hit another rat directly in the chest, slamming him to the ground.  Hollering in pain he rolled around on the ground.  I took my pitchfork and I stabbed it close to where the trident had hit him, silencing him forever.  The other rats shouted in anger and charged us.  My arm was badly hurt now, the rat that had thrown the trident picked up his weapon and charged with the rest.  One rabbit guard quickly drew his sword, and leaped into the fray, the other hare close behind him.  I quickly stabbed a rat through his chest, the same as I had done to the other rat, but his trident went into my leg.  I drew it out and threw it on the ground.  Suddenly all of the creatures involved were silent.  I looked down at the rat.  I instantly realized it was their leader.  The trident-rats stumbled off in a hasty retreat and paddled away in their small boat.  Mission Accomplished.
Mission # 61

I took the 24 hares and led them northeast to Mossflower Woods. We encountered them soon, and took to arms. Charging them we took up the call of countless hares before us, "Eulaliiiaaa!" Our forces collided and blade and spear met stave and cudgel. The battle went on. Eventually we could see the exhaustion in the vermin's eyes but they fought on. Being 25 perilous hares we soon over took the three score vermin and walked off with nothing but a few scratches. The vermin that ran were knocked out by sling stone or shaft. We marched back towards Salamandastron stopping at Redwall for some top notch vittles.
