Washed Up

I lay there silent. I felt a slight trickle of sand between my feet. I opened my eyes with a shutter. I saw blue sky, pure blue. I suddenly felt freezing cold. I felt my stumpy arms, they had stiff bumps on them! I had remembered Mum used to tell me that if I had bumps on my body I should put a jersey on. I stood up to put my knitted jersey on. I stared hard around me, I couldn't believe it, there was salty sand surrounding me. The wind whistled hard as I stared in disbelief.
"I'm on a holiday beach!" I thought. "Where's all the people and my family?" I questioned myself. "Oh no, not this," I thought. I ran around crying desperately. A gush of strong wind struck my face. I looked up, a helicopter! Hallabya! I waved frantically at the moving object but it was too late...

The Mix Up

One January, as the water moved the seaweed, Spongebob was playing eels and escalators (it's a game like snakes and ladders) with his snail Gary. Spongebob wasn't in luck and kept on getting eels. Suddenly a whoosh of bubbles came up behind him. Spongebob was sucked into it.
"Where am I going?" he said. After a couple of minutes he was out of the portal. He put on his water helmet and explored the new place. He never knew it was the Dragon kingdom so he explored the place with caution. Spongebob was being watched by someone in the bush. Spongebob moved the rustling bush and he found a dragon, a small purple dragon.
The dragon said, "Who are you?"
"I was about to say that," said Spongebob.
"Well," said the dragon, "My name is Spyro, what's your name?"
"My name is Spongebob, So, why was I sucked into a portal?" said Spongebob.
"The Dragon Elder will tell you because I don't know," said Spyro.
So off they went to see the Dragon Elder.
"Welcome," said the Dragon Elder, "How may I help?"
"Well," said Spyro, "Ask him."
"Huh, Oh, ahh, Mr Dragon Elder," said Spongebob.
"Yes?" said the Dragon Elder.
"Umm... could you tell me why I was sucked into the portal?" said Spongebob.
"Because we need you," said the Elder.
"NEED ME!!!!!" said Spongebob. "WHY DO YOU NEED ME!!!!!!"
"Don't shout," said the Elder, "and I'll tell you."
"But why didn't you take Patrick?" said Spongebob.
"He was too dumb," said the Elder.
"How about Mr Krabs?" said Spongebob.
"Too cheap."
"Squidward?"
"Too selfish."
