The people of Cups are descendants of the Founding Four, though have elevated to 'Impure'* status by evolving to have wings--not your typical bird or bat wings, they aren't Nurii, but fairy or dragon-fly wings.

The surrounding countryside upon entering the weak mortared wall is fertile--feilds of many varieties are grown here, to support not only the kingdom's inhabitants, but other empires as well. There are also great orchards--for apples, peaches, lemons. Don't ask how, it's just the magic of the place.

A few miles into the city the houses begin to appear until they crowd your veiw. Avenue upon avenue line the landscape now, with taverns, stables, hosery, tailors, blacksmiths, pawn shops, grocers...

The main road leads to the city square--which is huge. Lining the square are some of the bigger, more busy shops. In the center there is an anvil, on which is a sword--can you guess what it is? Nope, not excalibur, the royal family made sure to protect that sword well. This one in the square is just a replica, to remind the citizens of who they are.

You are approaching the main gates now, complete with portcullis and drawbridge. The courtyard is meticulously clean, and the kitchen hall is off to the side, perpetually smoking with the scents of beef and carrots. This is where the cooking for the queen is done.

When inside the Keep, there is a large hall, leading to many side-doors and staircases, winding their way up the tall structure. The Court is beyond the main doors, this is where the thrones are, and where many well-offs spend their time--basking in the glow of the queen.

There is a ballroom to your left, which is grand. Tiled in black and white and columns running along the sidewalls.

The royal chambers are on the topmost levels, and the knights also stray about the castle. Servants are always bustling--Queen Catherine makes certain that there's always work to be done.

*Impure: A previously derogatory term used by the Founding Four leaders and kingdoms to describe beings of different appearance or ability then their own; e.g, Scepters citizens, due to their utilization of magic, Nurii, because of their wings/skin color, Relics, due to the fact that they are animal hybrids, etc...
