Heal citizens are all members of the Nacente Spirit Religion. Their
lives are dedicated to serving Poust'ang, their god of the fountain, and
His Fountain, Fons.
The people have shaved or naturally hairless
heads, their royal seal inscribed on all of their burgandy robes--it is
a picture of the Fountain, and a symbol of Nacentism, the representation
of Poust'ang.
The followers with anscestry of the Nacente,
the descendants of the Moon People, all have silver eyes--not gray, but
silver.
Legend has it, that the Moon People, after
their own mini-exodus to the Isle, lost their beleif and faith in Mwazi
Lua, the moon creator, and found it in Poust'ang, when they were building
a shrine, and the heel stone erupted in water!
The people beleive that something in the
magical properties of their heel stone, the center of their henge-wheels,
prompted the arrival of this blessed water that held the mysterious properties
of healing. Thus, the people renamed themselves after The Power, and began
worshipping the god who saved them from the heathen ways of their ancestors,
the Moon People.
It is a dirt road that leads to the Kingdom,
simple and very country.
It ends and a long stone rectangle begins,
it is twenty feet high and it has been carved out to form a home for the
Nacente. There is one very special room, Terasu Hold, that displays ancient
illuminated texts dealing with the occult surrounding them in the Kingdoms,
and their own religion.
The other rooms within are all very simple,
and there are no kings--simply a head monk and priestess.
They have no extra comforts, save the
Ecstasy of Fons, during the Poust'ang Festival.
They are clothed in silvered robes which
are beleived themselves to have magical properties (story has it that
they were the first articles to have been immersed in Fons, for twenty-eight
days and nights, they were said to have been removed glowing metallic)
and the two head Nacente bath in the water of Fons, servant and conduit
of Poust'ang. This is a great honor, and Binahs seem to think that it
does something for their DNA structure.
There are two large stone doors in the
South wall, they lead around the back of the Longhouse to the Henge.
This is the stone circle that surrounds
Fons, there is a heel stone in the very center and a crack in it is where
the sacred water emerges. The ground around Fons is not soggy, in fact,
there grow some of the most beautiful flowers--second only to Innihccuz,
or possibly Mysti Valley.
