Mysti Valley

Mysti Valley was formed very recently by an enormous shift in sub-plate. Translation: an underground earthquake shifted the earth and formed a rock wall around an area of land. Thus Mysti Valley was born.

Pterran Pass permits entry to the valley and not too far into the organic bowl is Fiona's Floral Shop. It is run by a small pink woman with violet stripes--she is Innihccuz. She harvests some of the most rare and exotic plants in Underworld. She knows how to handle all of the unclassified flora in the Valley, which is quite the feat, considering most of the new life was spawned after the Valley's formation--the heat and collective rainfall created almost a stew for the plant life in the area. Her prices are fair.

Across the path from Fiona's is the Lazy Turtle. It is a scandalous little inn and pub that resided in the area before the sub-platal-shifting. The pub's patrons only enjoy the place more now that some privacy has been added. Mike O'Mally, the Innkeeper, serves to smugglers, pirates, thieves and Yttridsa-runners. It is surprising that Fiona's Shop still stands after all the brawls that occur just across the path. Come in for a pint.

There is a path through the brush leading to the mud flats. Jungle-like forests make up all of the Valley, so save the entrance, you will need sufficent bug repellant. The mud flats are a danger to some of the animal life, so one of Andrew's Cabins is off to the side near a warning sign: Beware! Mud Flats! As experienced Meadow-Keeper, Andrew is quite capable of handling the fauna and keeping them out of the sticky bog.

It also presents an interesting situation in which to observe the strange beasts of the Valley. The animals here are quite unlike those anywhere in Underworld. Perfect for Zoology.

Continuing down the trail is the vacation home of the Queen of Cups. Queen Catharine claimed this land after the Vally's formation, because at the time, she was being hasseled by palace demands. There are gardens behind her manor that display the local plant life without the trees blocking your view.

Further into the jungle is a small clearing. Seven chickering trees make a circle around the area. There are squirrel-like people here who hassel visitors from the trees. They look like they want something, and seem to demand a small object in their chittering language, making motions for the observer to throw it up to them. As of yet, they have not allowed anyone near them, as any object that is thrown to them is only returned at a more volitile speed, and usually with aim enough to knock the observer out.

There is a small stone castle with the name plaque reading "Fogg Turrets". This was another building in the area before the Valley formed. It has been abandoned for centuries and is very secluded. It did not fair well through the sub-platal-shifting, but the cracks and gaps in the walls are barely noticable...From a great distance.

The rest of the Valley is unexplored however, and updates as to what can be found there will be posted here.
