If you take a certain nondescript path
branching from the Winding Road, you're certain to come across a rabbit
hole. You really can't miss it, it's the only thing of note on the entire
path.
If you jump in that rabbit hole, you will find you body being pulled into
several different dimensions--a bit uncomfortable--and then you see a
light, thank Ghod.
You spill into the blinding light of day, only you're falling toward the
sky. The earth seems to notice this usurption of its rights as sole gravity-user
and you slow to a hault and begin to fall to the ground around the opening
through which you spilled--the end of the rabbit hole.
Shaking off a sore dizzyness will serve the tourist best, for it is now
that you stand before the Tree of Life, where the Innihccuz, or plant
people, live. Glorious sight, that.
In front of the Tree is a very large flower--VERY large. You could sit
in it if you felt the desire--of course, you don't. This is the Judgement
Bud. If an unworthy person comes near it and touches it with any part
of their body, the flower will consume that person whole...well, it will
swallow the person whole, but no one knows what could happen to them after
such a fate.
Back to the Tree, there are colors dancing in the carved-out windows of
the Tree, the people. Plant People are various colors--crimson, violet,
perriwinkle, pink, you name it. They can have stripes on their skin, or
tendril-vines for hair. Exotic and very beautiful, these traditionally
docile Plant People spend their days lounging in the sun in their rooms,
or wandering about the meadows near their Tree.
The eyes of the Plant People are odd in that they can, firstly, be any
color you could possibly imagine, with spots or stripes or what-have-you,
and secondly, they are somehow able to gaze for prolonged periods of time
into ultra violet rays that are produced by our artificial sun. (If you
haven't read already, Underworld is literally under the crust of the world
as humans know it, so there is no way for the real sunlight to enter our
world...the first people of the Exodus to Underworld created an artificial
sun, moon, and stars, that mimick their true counterparts on the outer
world.)
The rooms in the Tree are naturally there, it seems as the Tree grows,
these pods form from within the bark, where sap is mined from and used
for the Innihccuz other dietary needs. The Plant People would never do
anything to harm the Tree.
Sheilded from the other kingdoms by a surrounding forest (not Sotlat)
Innihccuz Kingdom is peaceful and protected.
