This is from Tatting Patterns and Designs by Gun Blomqvist and Elwy Persson. It is being done in DMC Pearl Cotton size 5 in a loden, mocha color. It uses one shuttle
and a second thread. I completed this on July 1, 2000! I am so proud of it. It is about 9 inches in diameter. If you are a beginner, this is not beyond your abilities! It is not as hard as it looks! This is my first "big" project. I want to do it again, in 2 colors, and maybe incorporating split rings and chains, which I have just learned. |
