The High Counsel is served faithfully day in and day out by the 8 counsel members.  They were appointed by the king and shall serve til their dyeing day or they wish to stop serving, in which case the king will appoint a replacement.  These members have a certain quality about them; they are good with people, sharp with their senses, but most importantly they react differently to situations which brings about a variety of solutions to cure the darkest hour.  They all live within the castle on the third floor, and often study at the library that has been built.  Don't be fooled, these members often know what's going on long before the general public knows, for they don't stay secluded in the castle.  Please meet the following people whose aspirations, hard work, and diligence has paid off, please meet the counsel members:

It would be sorrowful day should the king fall (with-out a son / the son's too young), but the kingdom must move on, and in times of crisis until a new king can be crowned, somebody must be in charge, and ready to stand for all the people of the Isle.  The following ranking system has been created should the king perish.  Should the counsel member who is currently servicing as king die, the next member shall take his place.

#3 - War Advisor

#4 - Minister of Domestic Affairs

#5 - Minister of Trade

#6 - The Court Scribe

#7 - Foreign Minister(s)
