Guys Part 3| 11.7.03
Ok the previous two rants were just about guys and their denseness and their actions toward girls that may or maynot like the guy back. These other guy senarios are more like if he girl is dating the guy. Ok, let me first tell you what dating is. People seem to get so confused at what everything is. It's like a mutural shared love/like between the girl and boy. And by gosh, you know what, most of all dates are mostly based on looks and likes. Why do blind dates fail, like miserably. Cause the people don't know each other! So a girl and guy are supposed to be boyfriends and girlfriends when they don't even know each other. Oh perfect. They didn't even start as friends. That's still fine. But by gosh guys are stupid because they don't promote communication. "So how are you doing" "fine." "i really enjoyed the dinner" "cool." . So what does that lead to, communication in public. Sorta. Everything becomes like a public show, or close enough to it. Or, if not that, the girl will find out somethings about the guy only in public. When the guy actually says something. Like let's say a guy can sing really really well. he's never sang to the girl. (guys are going "she never asked") (girls are going, what an idiot). It seems fairly logical to show off his singing infront a group of his peers at a singing place or what not. So he gets up and sings great songs, love songs, sad songs, marching songs, the works. The guy has a great time. The girl has 1 of 2 times. The girl either believes that the guy is singing to her (which isn't very likely since he's just showing off), in which case the guy is fine. But what the heck? The guy never tried to sing to the girl, or whatever. She never even knew he could sing. And they're suppoesd to be boyfriend/girlfriend. Hah, what do you think the girl is gonna feel? Seemed logical to the guy. Seems really quite stupid to the girl. And guys (including me, cause i fall into this one sooo much) are really big jerks. yeah they are. I'm a guy. i know it. Most guys dont' think they are, most guys are to dense to realize it anyway. Guys do things on a whim, mostly just to get reactions. If the reaction given corresponds to the action predicted by the male, he's gonna be very pleased with himself. Where do you think all this teasing came from. And guys are really big jerks at it. They can tease almost about everything. it's logical to them. Everone teases right? It wasn't supposed to be serious right? And they can't figure it out. Well, to the girl he's either impossible (meaning that she knows he's just kidding and that she'll just put up with it even it it annoys her) or he's a huge jerk (meaning that she thinks he's just being mean and wants to kill him for it.) Stuff like that. And Guys, i think they're right. To us it seems natrual, we tease each other, we dis each other (dissing is actually a form of wit compition) and we're ok with it, for the most part. If we're not, we'll just punch the other guy's lights out. Simple effective, logical, to an extent. Lol, i guess what guys don't understand is that girls are not guys. Which isn't that hard to understand but hey i dunno, i've been too feminized anyways. But we are insensitive to the letter of exactly what it means. We just call it logic. ha, and we were so proud. Anyways, this brings a close to by 3 part rant on guys and their actions toward girls. ~Wei |
