Ken Hensley, guitar player Ken Ingwersen and bassist Sid Ringsby of Live Fire have signed formal endorsement contracts with GHS for strings in 2008 and they will be using and promoting them at all events next year. Check out GHS Strings' website here!

On December 11th Ken Hensley & Live Fire performed at the "Kult Am Sonntag" TV Show in Berlin, Germany. It will be broadcast on January 6th 2008, and link with all details can be found here.

On the 5th of January Ken Hensley is flying to Switzerland to begin 9 days of TV, radio, press etc. for the release of his duet of Lady in Black with Dani Kandlbauer. Universal is releasing it as a single on December 5th and Ken will appear at his full CD release party in Zurich on January 11th.

The festival, which takes place between June 4th & 7th is one of the most prestigious there is and it is a great honour to have been invited to play next year. More details will follow soon."

An update on the Limited Edition Boxsets! The boxes arrived in Hamburg on Monday 12th, a week late. They are being packed now and will be shipped to Alicante, Spain on Monday or Tuesday (19th or 20th). Ken & his people will have processed all the orders by then and will begin shipping immediately. They expect that all orders currently in the system will be shipped by December 1st.

On Thursday September 6th, Ken will fly to Monza, Italy to attend the Italian Grand Prix as the guest of German magazine, Auto Bild & Motor Sport. During this time, Ken will interview legendary former triple world champion Niki Lauda, for a feature in the magazine called "Heroes of the 70's". Other events and meetings are planned but Ken's own words sum it up best... "I am so excited about this trip. Many people know that I am a Formula 1 fanatic but I normally watch "from the cheap seats", i.e., my sofa, so a chance to be in the pits, see and hear the cars 'live' and to meet so many people inside my favourite sport is incredible".

On Monday September 24th Ken Hensley will be flying to Zurich to record a duet of Lady In Black with Kandelbauer, currently the biggest band in Switzerland.

The new tour is shaping up well and will start in Kiev, Ukraine on October 26th. Ken Hensley and Live Fire will be joined for this show only by John Lawton who will do a special 45-minute set within their normal show. Full details about the tour will be posted here soon!
