I am sure many of you are familiar with John 10:10 Which says,
"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly."
I have read it many many times, and is an important verse to remember, it is a promise of God! But I often have to question.. I often wonder why I am not living an abundante life that He says He will give us.
I read it again today, and noticed a particular word.. It says '....I have come that they MAY have life and that they MAY have it more abundantly'
May = have the ability to... have permission to... be free to... used nearly interchangeably with can...a choice!!!
How awesome is that??? It is our choice, no one else can decide for us! He wishes to give us life.. and life more abundantly!! He wants us to have a life that is exceeding abundantly, supremely, something further more, much more than all. Thats the sort of life that He wants us to have, but it is our decision to pick it up, take it and start owning it!!
What sort of life do you want?? A life that the devil runs, where he aims to steal, kill and destroy.. or do you want LIFE and the life that He wants you to have??? I sure know which I want!!
