Home of the 1998 Winter Olympics Tells us about your family: I met Jesse in February of 1991 when I moved to the San Francisco Bay area of California in order to attend seminary. I arrived in California on a Friday and met Jesse on Sunday at Church! We've been married for three and a half years. Jesse is a very friendly guy. He enjoys studying the Bible (although he doesn't like studying anything else!) He is a good carpenter and a good cook! You'll have to meet him to find out more. My Mom and Dad are loving retirement. They live in Woodbury, Tennessee. My brother Brian lives in Memphis, Tennessee. Brian is building an airplane (with help, of course.) He wants to fly around the world in it. Maybe you'll see him on the news one of these days. What are you doing? Jesse and I are leading a church planting project here in Japan. Our 3 year commitment will be completed next August. We have no idea what we'll do then. Until last week, we were also chicken farmers!! WE have also enjoyed having a summer vegetable garden. What in your daily life reminds you of Taiwan? The beautiful rice fields and the language barrier. Do you plan to return to Taiwan? Probably, because my sister, Becky and her family are missionaries in Taiwan (Kaoshiung for now.) How have you changed? I'm much older! How I'm "just the same" ? Marriage has given my husband grey hair, but I still have my same natural, youthful color! |
