| Angela Powers Trentham Spouse: Kevin Boys: Jonathan (12), Garrett (8 1/2) Address: Arrington, TN We're doing great! Kevin's super busy with work, the boys are both well, and I'm into a wide variety of jobs. Kevin is Global IS Director for Magne Tek's lighting products group. This year, he's also working on his MBA through the executive program at UT Knoxville (which is taking him on a three week trip in May to business in Europe for research). 'And somehow there's plenty of tiem for duck season, turkey season, fishing and gardenting. Jonathan is twelve and in the 6th grade. He is an incredibly bright kid - interested in science, space, foreign culture, Legos, MicroMachines, and Hot Wheels. He plays soccer n the county league and will begin band next year. Garrett is gregarious and lots of laughs. He played basketball this winter, and we all learned that he doesn't have a competitive bone in his body; he just wants to have fun. He's a leader among his friends at school (2nd grade) and a dyed-in-the-wool hunter/sportsman. Kevin and I are thankful daily that we have such fabulous, funny and healthy boys. As for me, working for the pharmaceutical company didn't leave enough hours in the day for my family obligations and joys. I left my job of six years last June, with plans to start my own business as an independent contractor sales rep. Doing this has made me available to the boys when they come home in the afternoon, and free to chauffeur to my heart's content. I work for my company a total of two-three days per week. VisualSell is a dealership for specialty advertising productws; and we do business nationwide (don't get the wrong impression; it's not very big yet). Let me know if when I can help you! I'm a room mother and field trip chaperone and serve on correlate teams at the middle school, I'm part-time secretary at our church, Kevin and I teach an adult Sunday School class, I'm on the board of our neighborhood homeowners assn., and I'm Vacation Bible School director this year (and this year ONLY...really). Other family? Mom and Dad live in Beaumont, TX, where Mom teaches elem. ESL and Dad has just retired from a hospital chapiaincy potition (still works at Baptist Hosp. part-time). Monica and Kim live in Minneapolis while finishing grad school, Stephanie is a registered dietitian at Tufts in Boston, and Melissa is in graduate school in teaching English as a foreign lang. 'Could we be more far-flung? Reminders of Taiwan? The sound of soccer cleats on the concrete in the garage, Chinese noodles, birds outside the window at 5:20am, outdoor swimming pools. How am I different? Oh, My. 'Lots of ways. I know myself a bit more. I've learned to raise boys, for goodness sake. 'And I'm sure some of you would attest to my southern accent. How am I the same?
