I have been married to Elizabeth for 11+ years now and we have two children, Allison (20 mos) and Trevor (3.5 weeks). Beth is a surgical technologist but quit in February to be a housewife and mother. She will probably go back to work when the kids go to school.
I have owned my own business for 11 years now. (Thorson Computer, Inc.). We concentrate on accounting systems, NT networks, and custom programming. I just started a second company, Premier Software, Inc., whose purpose is the development and sales of two packages that we own and sell to the marketplace. One package is called qualtrak, which we sell to nuclear power facilities. The second is called Simtrak, and is an injury tracking software package written for the Chicago White Sox that has been sold to over 35% of Major League Baseball, numerous colleges, and is breaking into other professional sports as well. Both companies keep me very busy.
Beth and I teach Sunday School at church (more like babysit, since we teach 2-yr-olds). I am head of our church's computer committee and Beth is part of a women's group called PEO (non-church affiliated). That's for extra-curricular activities, as time doesn't allow for nay more at this point.
Let us know if you're ever in Chicago.
