Shannon home-schools Katherine and Cameron, 2nd grade and Kindergarten. She obviously has her hands full with the 4 kids. She also volunteers her time on a web-site forum on parenting and we teach a parenting class at our church.
I'm in my 3rd out of 4 years of orthopaedic surgery residency (I'll be done in June 2000). I love ortho, but being a resident is no fun. We are teaching a "Growing Kids God's Way" class at church which we love. That's about the only extra-curricular activity I have.
'Plans to return to Taiwan? No, but I would love to show Shan and the kids where I grew up.
I'm much more cynical and much less patient - also less tolerant of others' foibles. But I still love music and sports, love to read a good novel (not that I get to very often).
