Reviews For Dec. 15- Dec. 28
(We are still catching up from the two holiday weeks. By next Sunday, everything should be back to normal.)
CRITIQUE OF THE WEEK
I liked both of the reviews for "The Better Bunny." Each of them were clearly written and described the story well.

The Better Bunny By Charilette Rai Sweeney
I think that this story is great!! Having an older sister, I was often subject to having the "not so good bunny". I can relate to this story, and think the emotions and characters are true to life! Thanks for bringing this bit of humor into this page!!

The Better Bunny By Charilette Rai Sweeney
Beautiful story. Powerful.
Poignant. You covered a lot of ground in a short piece.

The Fling
By Bruce Longman
Sharp, vivid, direct, brilliantly written.
Too bad we don't base the rating scale on a ten.

The Unwanteds By Nathan Black
Remarkable creative thinking. I enjoyed
it immensely.

A Loathed Enemy By Beth Adair
Beth, this was a sensitive account of a terrible problem for so many people. It is so sad that we cannot look beyond the "body" to the real person. Thank you for this piece. Very touching. Hope you write more. There is nothing quite as compelling as sharing true experiences and you did it so very well.

The Lover of Nature By Beverly Caine
You have a gift, my dear Beverly Caine.

Babe Magnets by Ken Bushnell
Men are always suspicious of a woman's intent, but I would say stereotyping all women as hunting for only good looking men is a little ridiculous. A few bimbos give all women a bad name.

Things Aren't What They Seem by Geraldine Cook Davis
get a thrill when I see such an original style. This thing dances.

"Yes I'm I A Clique" by Nathan Black
Insightful. You seem to have the ability to fit sharp contrasts together so well. As a reader I feel I'm right there as you're able to snap from one extreme to another so smoothly.

Through the Eyes of A Beanie Babyby Beth Adair
Marvelously creative. The style is incredible.

Illusions By Brynne Ferguson
Wonderful piece. Even though I anticipated the end I wanted to be there to experience it. The story took me there with it.

The Opposite Of Hopeless by Janelle Zimmerman
I really like this story even though it's really short. I like how she describes the man. It's good

Socks by Ken Bushnell
I've heard many, many theories of 'where the other sock went' but this is the first that makes no sense yet lots at the same time. I have one problem thou, you'll never catch me talking to my socks. lol

Earth Has A Cold By Alicia y Mercedes Torres
I am well familiar with this author both from the perspective of reader and another writer. I love a lot of her work, and think she writes spectacular poetry that is both personal and full of meaning.

Is Santa Really Santa Clause? By Jessica Sayer
Jessica, I am sorry, but I cannot agree with you at all on this one. Was this meant to be a joke? There is nothing evil or wrong about gift-giving, and sharing Love and Happiness with family and friends, that you might not even see for much of the rest of the year. There is nothing evil in the joy on Children's faces as they run downstairs on Christmas morning. Also, you should read some of my work a little more closely, then you would know that by speaking the names of this person from the underworld, you are invoking his presence. I am sorry I looked at this, because the reading of his name caused me to repeat it in my head a few times, and I really don't feel like having any unwelcome visitations. Sorry, a little heavy maybe, but you need to know these things before bandying works like this about. And giving his name a capital letter is even worse, this gives him far too much importance. Reserve capital letters for those wo!
rthy of them, like Jesus Christ, and God. Perhaps you should turn your overactive imagination to contemplation of these two entities.

Fast Talkin' Man By Beverly Caine
Your poems are rythmatic, well written and clear. I especially enjoyed the message of this one. Yea for common sense and self worth.
